Came here to see Avatar 2 in the Dolby Theater. Both the visual and the sound quality in the Dolby Theater are fantastic. It also has recline chairs which comes as a pleasant surprise. Overall pretty decent experience. We used our AMC guest re-admit passes from a previous visit to another AMC theater. The redemption process is smooth and easy. Originally, we thought we had to jump through some hurdles with customer services and could only redeem for same-day movies. It turns out that they have ticket machines that accept vouchers at this location. We just need to scan the re-admit passes when checking out. It also allows us to redeem movies in the next few days for better seating. The redemption process is a lot smoother than we originally expected. read more

I moved away from Fremont and came back 3 years later. This was my theatre at one point. Now that I'm back I had to go to my go to theatre. Sadly, it's not the same I remember. You got a bunch of rude kids working there. Trash is all over the floor, condiments and soda area filled with popcorn and sticky soda all over. The place is a dump. I came on a Saturday around noon. Still early, so I can't find an excuse why it was so messy. The movie was good, seats could have been cleaned better. It's March when I watched the movie and AMC still got the AVATAR cups " coming to theatre on Dec" hopefully someone from management reads this and cleans this up. read more

I'm an A list member so I'm here every weekend. They are sticklers when it comes to checking your ID for A list members. When are they gonna fix the screens outside of each theater that tell you what movie it is?!?? When the attendant tells me the number of the theater for my movie I never remember it. It's been broken for literally more than a year. Parking is usually easy to find. I'm glad there is security constantly patrolling the parking lot. The theater snacks are less available now probably because of COVID. The last few times I tried to get a pretzel or nachos they've been out of the cheese. The facility was clean and has plenty of parking. The variety of food is great. The temperature is usually on point. However, when I visited to watch the Lilo & Stitch movie, the AC was not working in that particular theater and none of the patrons were warned ahead of time. The only reason I stayed in the very hot theater was because my granddaughter otherwise I would've asked for a refund. I will have to rethink about visiting that facility. read more

This theater was amazing when it first opened but it has not been maintained. It has some of the biggest and comfiest reclining seats in the area, but the theater smelled musty, seats were ripped with exposed foam, and trash was left everywhere (even on seats). My go-to theater here's why... First off they have alcohol. Expensive but available. Huge parking area because its attached to the mall. You can buy your tix online but they have a few kiosk open in house. Not many employees though. Once passed the ticket area they have plenty of overpriced candies and water. The food options consist of pizzas, pretzels, basic nachos, finger foods. You buy your items first then walk over to the pickup counter thats separate from the icee/soda machine. They only have 1 ICEE size. Keep that in mind. The later you go the less caps they have for their ICEE cups The theaters are all great in their own way. Ive watched imax and digital. You cannot go wrong with either. IMAX will have your seat shaking with the sound esp if its a action movie. I usually like to sit in the 2nd row above the handicap section. But anywhere you sit will make you feel like youre the only one there. The leather recliners dont squeak when youre adjusting and dont smell like the previous person. The bathrooms are kept clean and they have plenty of stalls and hand washing areas. One thing to note is if you're tall pick your seats wisely. My brother is almost 6' and said he was uncomfortable because he couldnt stretch his legs out. So id probably choose the 1st row above the handicap section. read more

I had these ancient free movie tickets that were given to me by my former company. Since I wasn't to book a movie with these tickets, I was forced to drive to the theater a day before the movie viewing to use my ancient free movie passes. The customer service lady said, "OH, those are old". I said, "yes, they are, that's why we are here" :). They actually had to swap out the old tickets for another newer ticket, then we were able to use the giant tablet screen to buy our tickets for Star Wars The rise of Skywalker. We went to our assigned seats, it was the side seats. I don't recco the side seats because of high traffic of people moving in/out of the middle section seats. People just need to settle down and stop going out for popcorn and dranks! But the seats, the seats!!! They are sooo comfortable and they recline so you really can feel lazy while watching the movie. If it wasn't was the awesome Dolby sound system installed in the theater, I would had totally fallen asleep during the entire movie!!! I only fell asleep 3-4 times and only for a minute or so... :) Great theater, although when you enter, you walk to the left instead of the right to get to the many theaters. It just felt awkward! Came here on a lovely Sunday afternoon to take my niece out to watch minions 2! The snack bar area was not even that busy but it was so slowwww. They only had one person on the cash register. The soda machine was pouring out pink water when all I wanted was water.... The butter dispensers were not working and the worker said it only works during various times of the day (odd). We bought our tickets online, and once we got in the theater we noticed there were folks sitting in our seats.... They just sat there and didn't nudge after we stared at them and kindly asked them to move after showing our tickets with the seat numbers. The overall theater is clean, but it seemed a little stuffy and there was no air conditioning or air flowing. Not the best theater to go to in my opinion. read more

I love this location ever since they opened! It is located at New Park Mall in Newark and offers lots of parking. You can purchase tickets right when you walk in or walk right up to the employee scanning tickets if you purchase online. They have a wide variety of food/snack options: pizza, popcorn, candy, soda, ICEE, water, chicken tenders, curly fries, mozzarella sticks, etc. For the 21+ guests they also have a bar that sells beer, wine, and cocktails to enjoy during the movie. They have a number of screens where you can reserve your own reclining seat. Great place to come with family, alone, or on a date. Also, if you sign up for their rewards program online you earn points every time you purchase tickets, food, and drinks. read more

Watched the final James Bond movie in IMAX and it was incredible -- both the movie and the theatre itself. Seats were clean and all chairs reclined. Screen was enormous and no matter what seat you were in, you were in for a treat. It was easy to get in and scan tickets with so much parking. I like that when you enter this AMC location, the foyer is large and open -- something very reminiscent of my local AMC back in NJ. We don't live in this area, but we chose this theater because we thought they allowed us to bring in our boba milk tea. I've brought my drink almost every time we visited and never had an issue until yesterday. We regularly spend between $30 and $50 on food here, not including tickets. This no-drink policy feels unfair to those who enjoy having boba milk tea while watching a movie. Because of this incident, our family is canceling our AMC membership and will be going to other theaters nearby that are more lenient. read more

Came here on a Tuesday night for a showing of Captain Marvel at 7:30pm and was actually really impressed. I typically go to Century 25 at Union Landing, but my experience here was probably better than any time I've gone to Union Landing. Pros: - You can pick your seat ahead of time - I honestly believe the best experience for an AMC movie is to go with a friend who's an AMC A-lister (I think it's like $20 a month) because they get special deals on popcorn and such. We came on a Tuesday and so with my friend's A-list discount our tickets were like $4.56 each (came with a party of 13) - Reclining seats wide enough where you can get super comfy! (I think I've been spoiled because now I don't even like watching movies without a reclining seat anymore...privilege) - Everyone gets one cupholder - Armrests in between - If you get a refillable popcorn - grab a box for your friends and dump the popcorn in there, and then refill it on the spot that way you don't have to get up to get more - We were in theater 9, which was a decent size - not enormously large so any seat in the upper level is a decent view Cons: - bathrooms are kind of small but it doesn't get TOO crowded - the drinks area was kind of not clean / messy but it looked like an understaffed night Other vibes: If you're watching a late movie, don't park on the other side of the mall or else you have to walk around the outside of the mall when you come out (the actual mall probs closes at 9pm and you can't walk back through it the way you came). But if you do have to walk around the mall, it feels pretty safe because people are coming/going from the 24 hr fitness nearby, and it's pretty well lit. They also are really smart and make you walk through the entire food section (lol product placement) BEFORE you hit all the theaters (this place is bigger than it looks when you first enter) Overall not a bad experience, pretty convenient location. read more

My favorite theatre in all of the Bay! For starters, it's by Newpark so you can get some shopping in before or after. Second, you get to pick your seats, so you never have to worry about being late or having to rush just to get a good seat. Lastly, they have large recliner seats! Super comfy! They recline so far back. I've actually fallen asleep in the theatre before (shame on me! lol) They have alot of different drinks, candy, food, etc. but be smart people (hit the dollar store before you go to the movies! Amazing. This theater was the cleanest movie theater I have ever been to. It was super modern and new. Much better than the one in Pacific Commons. This place deserves 5/5 stars, and no less! This place is located in NewPark Mall, so if you want to shop, you can come here before or after to take a stroll. The food here was great, it had chips, candy, popcorn, you name it! It was a bit overpriced, but what can you say, all movie theater foods are usually overpriced. The staff was helpful and knew what they were doing. Do not even get me started on how comfortable the chairs are! THEY RECLINE. I REPEAT, THEY RECLINE! Such high tech chairs. I felt as if I was sitting on my sofa watching this movie. This place actually used to be a Target with the first cart escalator in the area (if anybody remembers). There was plenty of parking and this place from the outside looked fine. We bought our ticket and stopped by the bar that was inside past the food stands to have a drink. I found it a little weird to have to walk all the way around to the theater after you passed the food/drink area rather than having the food/drink area in the middle between two sets of screens (like most places). The theater we were in was a decent size and the seats reclined back. I think there were a lot more theaters that have the reserved seating so this place was no exception. The theater was clean and no sticky floors where we sat which was good. If I was in the area and wanted to watch a movie, then i would come here. read more

Closest theater to my house. Pretty new. It feels small. IMAX sucks because there's no recliner chairs, but the Dolby Cinema is awesome since you get the extra big screen AND the recliner chairs! All the other theater screens here are pretty small. Their cinnamon pretzel bites are amazing! So delicious. Last time I got the Mac and cheese bites, and they were sooo good. Sad they ran out of marinara sauce though! I feel like this theater is always so quiet... like not a lot of people here... so it's kinda awkward when you walk to the food place because everyone is looking at each other lol. Anyways, I love all the natural light that comes in from the huge windows but it makes me blind after I get out from a movie haha. I definitely recommend this theater to anyone who lives in Fremont. This theatre gets a 5 in my books! Nothing to complain, except maybe how dangerously comfortable these chairs are. I love how convenient it is to book on the Atom app, select your seats, skip the line and just scan your QR code at check-in before entering concessions. I bought tickets for a standard showing of Wonder Woman, and did not expect to have reclining chairs. That was quite the treat! If anything, the theatre has spacious seating so even if you sit on the very back, it's almost like sitting in the middle in regular theaters with 20+ seats in a row. Omg not even know how to start , I thought centuries theaters were bad but after going today to watch guardians of the galaxy where your prices are higher than centuries I was in shock with how nasty was everything. Your employees didn't even clean the auditorium all they did was open the place with trash containers full capacity, carpet covered with pop corn , trash everywhere from the entrance all the way to the auditoriums and even restroom. After the movie we needed to use the restroom and there was not soap in one of the dispensers. Then I saw period blood all over the toilet I was using and used paper along with fillet covers all over the floor . This is why do we pay almost 20 dls per ticket ? You guys went downgrading my next movie there is for little mermaid since I paid in advance for an event before knowing how bad and trashy the place is but not worth my drive there anymore. read more

Plenty of parking. Really enjoyed the recliner seats. Plenty of room between seats and behind you, and definitely don't need to worry about others kicking your seats. About $15 post matinee for non-Dolby and IMAX. Popcorn was $9, so I snuck in my own snacks. read more

9/15/24 I went with my husband to see Beetlejuice in Dolby, but the commercials and the movie kept going black back and forth multiple times. What was frustrating is there was no communication from the staff to the audience of an apology. Eventually many people left the room. read more

This theater is absolutely huge! Located adjacent to New Park Mall and sharing a large parking lot. The theater has very high ceilings, a bar called Macguffins, and a good-sized concession stand. The layout is a bit strange in that you literally need to loop around the building to access the individual theaters and restrooms. The seats here are all the reclining type, similar to flying business class. Very comfortable seats. I was almost concerned that the guy next to me was asleep and snoring for a while. Alien: Covenant was pretty intense, so kudos if you manage to sleep through that! Theaters had decent sound system, so no complaints there. The theater also had nice murals painted everywhere depicting new and old Hollywood. read more

Pretty nice, but certain considerable aspects leave much to be desired.... So, even though I live in San Leandro, I opted to go to this theater because it is the closest non-small theater that has reclining seats. You can tell parking in front of it and walking towards it that it must have an impressive collection of considerably sized screens; and therefore seating availability. It is so big, in fact, that it feels the concession stand is literally 2-and-a-half blocks away from the closest theater! The reclining seats were nice; cushions were comfortable enough (I even found that it could recline TOO much...!) and it was nice to have my legs up. There was plenty of space in front and around the seats; I was worried that I had to share an armrest, but I did not. Parking is a mall parking lot -- and there's nothing on that side of the mall anyway -- and the parking lot is huge that one shouldn't be too concerned with parking too far away or having that kind of trouble. What's left to be desired: A large popcorn (bucket) and a large drink was $18; ironic since my ticket for the 12:30PM (The Equalizer 3) showing was $11! The concession worker cannot/doesn't butter your popcorn for you; they have a dispenser you do yourself -- so "layering" the popcorn with butter is troublesome. I had to figure out for myself to use a box container to assist with the layering, but couldn't find any of those. I asked a worker behind the register for an extra bucket and was pointed to the other side of the room at the other end of the concession stand to a small compartment below the counter that held them! I don't know why they wouldn't put it with the napkins or more noticeable like every other theater. The have a good number of soda machines that are the really cool Freestyle Coke ones that have over 100 flavor combination options. But it was frustratingly surprising to find that the first 3 machines I went to didn't have Sprite...!? I mean, the top 2 soda flavors are cola and lemon-lime; weird to not have at least that (lemon-lime). As noted before, I did not like walking literally about 2-and-a-half blocks away from the concession stand to reach my theater (and mine was one of the closer ones!). As noted by other reviewers, it does suck that the screens are broken on the outside of the theater door (meant to show what film is showing). Good thing Fandango lists the theater number that I could reference, or I would've had to go in to all of them and guess...? Also, why does the theater doors have to have turn handles to open (not simple bars)?!?! So if you are carrying anything and/or your hands are occupied, you will have a lot of trouble opening the doors -- which they shut when the previews start. It was a lot of fun for me with myself, my bucket, my drink, my box container trying to; to the point that I just had to put my food container on the floor just to open the door! I don't know what was playing in the next theater to the left, but you can tell the walls are not noise insulated (at least enough) as I could constantly not just feel but hear the theater's sound effects. To the point that after the movie, me and 2 other patrons stood around outside the theater door trying to figure out what movie it could possibly be (we figured Expend4bles based on the the theater's offerings and how loud and frequently it happened). So I guess I will continue going here (somewhat reluctantly); either here or Walnut Creek. I just hope there can be changes and improvements that will help me have a better experience going here. read more

Went to watch Spider-Man this evening expecting to be reclining seats. Got in the theatre, it was dirty, trash on the floor, some of the seats looked out of service and overall wasn't the greatest atmosphere. The seats did not recline at all and were really uncomfortable. They are very upright and basically sitting in a 90 degree. Felt bad for the cleaning guys. Staff was friendly when we first walked in. That was nice. Not sure if all the seats are like that. AMC is the only thing keeping Newpark alive other than 24 hour. Hope they can shape it up a bit more. read more

Nice theater, but bad viewing experience. I went here once to watch an animated movie that had subtitles. During the movie, I experienced the following. 1. Audio delays. While I am watching a movie subtitles, delayed audio can be a deal breaker when it is a second behind. 2. People using their cellphones. I don't know why people go to a theater to check messages on discord. 3. People vaping/smoking in the theater. The odor in the film was mix of weed, cherry, and popcorn. I reached out to corporate and they said they will not accommodate for the poor experience. I was told to go to the speak to a manager the next time it happens, but I don't frequent this theater. read more
