We bought tickets to 65 Friday night 3/10/23 9:15pm showing and I give one star because the girl selling tickets in the booth outside was nice. I really think this movie theater needs to train the young adults working the concessions. The girl grabbed our icee cups with her fingers in our cups, fine I didn't say anything BUT when the icee over flowed she took a rag off the counter and wiped the top off the icee lid, Uhhh no thanks!! I had to tell her I didn't want it because she wiped my icee with her cleaning rag so she apologized and made another one. The pick up area was congested of people waiting for their orders, it was a mess! Once we get into the theater, it's a mess, ours seats a mess like the workers did a half a$$ clean up smh. The ticket purchase was simple, although the line was long it did not take too much time to get through. I used to go to the movies a lot but after COVID, I tried to stay away from the theaters because of fear. I was pretty impressed at how clean the theater was though. I think it was cleaner from past visits many years ago. My son brought me to the movies to watch Nope. Our theater was great, we sat in one of the IMAX theaters. The sound was great and seats were comfortable. Any time there was an action scene, you could feel the rumble as if you were there. Awesome effects. There is a bar near the concessions, which is a plus and I have not been able to try out. Next time I visit, I will be sure to try it out. If you have a rewards card, you get a free refill on your popcorn. I suggest to definitely sign up. I won't be so nervous on my next visit. So see you soon AMC!!! read more

This has always been my go to AMC A-List movie theater weekly on Thursdays for movie premieres in IMAX and Dolby. But recently the quality in their premium theaters has dipped hardcore. I watched Gladiator 2 back in November and noticed the bass was non-existent in the IMAX. Watched Captain America: Brave New World a few months later and same issue. Went again for WARFARE last week and same issue! Not to mention the seats for the Dolby are starting to all fall apart as well. The Dolby and IMAX are in severe need of refurbishment. The lady who took our QR code tickets was nice. At concession there are two lines, one for the non-stubs members and the a-list skip-the-line line. You can order ahead of time online. The seats here aren't reclining. The mozzarella sticks are a non-starter because the fryer isn't working but the employee who let us know was genuinely apologetic. There's fun cutouts for new movie promos you can take pics w/ i.e. Barbie or Insidious: The Red Door. I'll stick to Century Stadium in the future since the price is cheaper and the seats recline and heat. Only stopped by here today because I have an AMC gift card. read more

The seats are like economy class airplane seats on the budget airlines... hard, tiny, and do not recline! This theater is probably one of the not so nice locations for AMC. The seats are absolutely horrendous. Most of the other AMC locations have leather wide, cushy chairs that recline. This place has the rough cloth seats with no cushion at all. So very uncomfortable to sit in for two hours while you're watching a movie. Also, the whole place is not very clean. The sound is also very dated and does not produce very high quality sound. Overall a super dated movie theater that still charges regular price. Definitely do not recommend. read more

Just got back from seeing a movie at the block (outlets) in Orange. There were four total separate parties including us in the theater. 8 people. Basically empty. The row ahead of us was 2 teenagers violently making out and other "activities". I'm talking throwing each other around, laughing, and very questionable noises. They didn't catch 3 seconds of the movie the people ahead of them were smoking. SMOKING. Wtf I went to tell somebody about the smoking and management did... take a guess... NOTHING. Dude was puffing smoke clouds through the entire film. Manager came in and stood there for all of 2 minutes, came back, stood another 2 minutes and then nothing. If management is too scared to confront someone who is smoking in the theater, just imagine if anything more serious went down... you're screwed. Also, how are there no cameras in the theaters? With all the insane stuff happening on the daily, how is this still a place with no cameras? What has happened to society? Does nobody give a shit about anyone else anymore? I'm a pretty chill dude, but people who are inconsiderate to others just reaaaallllly get under my skin. It's so easy to be a decent human being, but people just don't care at all anymore. Including management. I would have asked for a refund, but I'd rather just never come back here. Also, the men's bathroom smelled like a port o potty and was covered in etchings/tagging. First time at this AMC location. Reasons why I would give this site 5 stars... - $5 fan favorites - I watched Grease the other day, and it was fantastic!! The movie looked and sounded great. - Priceless joy and positive experience: the audience all sang, hooted, hollered, and clapped along. What an engaging experience. - Clean and spacious. Deduction of 1 star - - Chairs need to recline! Thankfully, I was sitting in the first row after the handicapped area, so I was able to put my legs up on the railing. However, for others, I am sure it was less pleasant. - Google Maps is horrible. It does not know how to direct drivers to the lot closest to the AMC. AMC should contact Google and have this corrected. All in all, a great experience! Keep the $5 Fan Faves coming!! read more

Out of all the AMC theaters in OC, I probably come to this one the most. Most of the employees are good & attentive. There are a lot of other employees that just walk around and not do much or stand around and talk to other employees. The actual theaters are hit and miss. Some theaters have good recliners, some have sucky ones, or none at all. Dolby viewing is definitely where it's at! We saw our most recent movie in the Dolby theater and the seats were amazing, it was a huge theater, and the sound was amazing! I'll always come back here! read more

This review is for Wanda! We bought tickets to see the Taylor Swift Eras concert movie and wonderful Wanda greeted us so warmly! She scanned our tickets, gave the complimentary poster and friendship bracelets and told us to enjoy the show. Her energy and smile made me so hype for the movie. Afterwards, she saw us come out and shouted across to us "how was it?!!!!" Her smile still shining bright. We chatted for a little bit and then we had to go. What a lovely lady! Thank you Wanda for making my day. It's the little things, you know. The movie itself was amazing. We were in the Dolby Theater and it was super immersive. Came here for the 10th anniversary screening of Whiplash for a matinee showing. I love how giant their lobby is. There's something fun to look at in every corner; cinema classic photos, quotes, posters, and writings on the floor, even! They have a concessions and bar and bathrooms all there in the lobby. I've been coming to this theater location for years. My favorite theaters are the Dolby and IMAX theaters because the sound and picture quality are outstanding and put you in the action. The Dolby theater has plush reclining seats, and the audio and video are highly detailed and loud. I've also noticed the seats vibrate more during heavy bass scenes and explosions--an excellent enhancement. The screen size and sound quality in the IMAX theater are another great option, but the seats are non-reclining. The experience is still worth it for epic and blockbuster movies. This theater feels older than other IMAX locations I've been to but still provides a better experience than the regular theaters. Hopefully, they can refurb it with cleaner seats and updated sound and screen. The food, snacks, and drink offerings are pretty standard, with alcohol options available at the bar. My go-to items are the movie nachos with cheese sauce (which they only give one free now, it used to be two before the pandemic); extra sauce or salsa is an additional charge. The movie popcorn is also a classic snack where you can add your butter and salt at the self-service counter. One complimentary refill on the large, I believe. The Private Theater Rental option is an excellent feature for 20-40 friends or family to join. A perfect opportunity for co-workers too! I've got to experience the private theater a couple of times, making the movie-going experience more unique and fun. The AMC app makes everything easy, from ordering tickets and food to keeping track of points and what you've watched. I've been a premiere member and (on-and-off) A-Lister; both have pros and cons for your subscription price. There are also matinee prices and discounts for movies before 4 pm. Own AMC stock? Also, get perks through the app if you are a shareholder! The service and staff has been friendly for the most part and I haven't had many negative issues. The cleanliness is hit or miss on some days, but satisfactory majority of the time I've visited. Last but not least, please clean up after yourselves also! They do have staff that comes in and make sure it's clean for the next movie, but if everyone does their part and brings their trash to the outside receptacles, it saves time for everyone! read more

Got a chance to see a yet-to-be released movie at this large theater complex in the Orange Outlet mall. There is plenty of parking, and a lot of good places to eat nearby within walking distance. The theaters are older, with cushy but worn seats. For whatever reason, the seats themselves don't come up when not occupied, so it's actually better NOT to stand up when someone is trying to walk past you to get to your seat. There are a lot of screens so it will show independent and foreign films that might not make it to smaller theaters. read more

Not all of the theaters have reclining seats. Definitely a drawback considering century theaters is cheaper and they have reclining seats that also can be heated. We wanted to get mozzarella sticks but their fryer wasn't working. Trailers were 20 minutes long. The Barbie display was fun to take pictures in. read more

I am sorry bring back the original flatbread pizza and I am extremely disappointed one time I was hoping for the long way flatbread like they had before going to the pathetic looking flatbread pizza and I am sorry the new flatbread pizza to me is false advertising because the pizza is way too small it is ridiculous you charge $11.00 for a tiny flat bread so when I was there I was very ticked off and I had to get a manager and get my money back and I actually wanted the pizza for dinner instead I ended up getting Pretzel Bites and that was better but not dinner like style and I really hope you bring the flatbread the long way back not the pathetic way that you have right now! The worst seats in theatre 1. It's like they just forgot about the theatre. I've never been to a theatre where I didn't want to put my arms on the armrest. When the previews start the lights were still on and the sound was blasting, not the normal great audio but ear drum bursting sound. Horrible experience. read more

This theater is big and flashy when you walk in. They have the remix machines which is my only reason for 2 stars. Everything is overpriced. Our theater didn't have the reclining seats so the fact that you're paying $18 a ticket for basic, uncomfortable seats sucks. Also, 30 minutes of trailers and ads is just ridiculous. I'd much rather go to Cinepolis. Way better theater. Even the starlight in Whittier is better and super cheap! read more

Movie theaters are becoming a thing of the past but I'll always do it for the experience. The overpriced ticket, food, and drink makes it a bit more challenging but it's typically always worth it. this theater has not been renovated so none of these theaters have recliner seats. This is a very large AMC Theater location, with 30 screens. The projectors are laser technology, so the picture is even sharper than a digital projector, and the sound in the auditorium is incredible. This theater gets quite crowded, so if you want concessions I would definitely arrive a few minutes early. The popcorn was very fresh, and the customer service is very good. Me and my boyfriend have the movie membership and love coming to this theatre every week for a date night. It truly is one of the nicest movie theatres I have ever been to! The staff is seriously so nice and never had a bad experience out of all the times we have come here. One time my boyfriend dropped his phone down the side of the recliner and a worker pulled apart the seat to find it for him and was so kind. The recliners are always clean and never had a broken one. This AMC is the closest one to where I live. I definitely would like to say there are PROS and CONS to this theatre so I want to list them out to be fair: PROS: - This movie theatre is in the middle of a shopping mall which means there are places to dine nearby, things to do before and after the movie, and a Starbucks just to kick it at after - There is a large number of theaters in this building (30 to be exact) meaning that there are always a variety of show times and movies to choose from. They usually screen not only the LATEST releases, but the movies that may have been out for a few weeks already usually last a bit longer here so I never worry about seeing them right away -They have a DOLBY theatre and an IMAX theater here so there is the opportunity to see a "premium" movie theatre experience CONS: - Because it is in a mall there are TONS of trolls, teens, and kids. The last 2 movies had kids running in and out of the theatre not to mention screaming, crying, and running around. This included teens crawling under the seats, playing tag, and just really creating an unpleasant environment. It was very disruptive to the movie and I had to get security twice. - The other theaters that are NOT Dolby have very generic seats. They do not recline unlike many other local theatres. - The concession line is always un-godly long here. Just something to keep in mind when here. Overall, I would say that the environment of the disruptive children really ruins the experience. It almost is the same as watching a family movie at home with the windows open, a train going by, and maybe sirens in the background. If you REALLY want to see a movie I would come here, but it is not my first choice by any means. read more

FIRST OF ALL THE MOVIE WAS GREAT!!!!!! We had a blast watching AIR! If you havent watched it, then please make your way to the theater! My concern was we were in theather 30 in seat J1 & J2 and the wall was filthy. There was smudges of food and other living animals like nats on there. I was bit a few times from what ever was up there! I didn't enjoy the movie much from scratching and I thought that was super disgusting. If the movie was not so packed, we would of moved, but there were no more seats! Other than that, the movie was great, food was great and the vibe was cool! So glad I waited until the lights turned on to see how nasty the seats were. I was hoping they invested in reclining chairs when I bought the tickets but they haven't so be prepared. It was really unpleasant to sit straight upright for 3 hour Wicked and couldn't even sit comfortably without being squished in the row. I'm only 5"0 and couldn't cross my legs without touching the seat in front of me. Every combo is above $20 (for example one large popcorn & drink is $23.97) so it's crazy they still can't afford recliners. We came in last night to watch Operation Fortune:Ruse de guerre at the location, which has been a few years since we have visited. It is a great location to see a movie, plus with the shopping and restaurants. We ordered some hot dogs along with popcorn and soda. It is great to be a AMC Premiere member because you can really get your food ordered quickly. They will definitely need to upgrade the restrooms at the theatre because the water pressure is very low to none. The supplies for the concessions should be fully stocked especially at peak times like Friday and Saturday night when you have a big opening weekend movie.
