This is probably the worst movie theater in the area. At the moment that you walk in, you can feel a funny smell coming from the carpets instead of the usual popcorn smell at the movie theaters. The prices were a little high compared to other movie theaters ($8 for a small popcorn). The seats smelled like garbage and were not clean. I almost sat on a saggy nacho chip and were uncomfortable. Freezing cold theater today. Then the power went out during the movie. They said it was a power surge. We got our money back after 15 minutes of waiting around and then standing in a long line because they have a bunch of people working there but only 2 know what they're actually doing... if we didn't join the amc reward membership card that would have been my last time there. This place has been going down so sadly since I started coming 20 years ago. Tonight "Donna" the manager lock me out of the movies after I had to come out to get my medicine out of my car. Even after showing her my tickets and the money that I spent in food and all inside the theatre she refused to let me in and watch the end of my movie. Totally disappointing as far as customer service and management. If you want to have a nice experience with special people don't adventure yourself into this classless management place. I have been going to this theater for years like when it first opened in the area years. There are a lot of theaters and movie options. Adults tickets will run you around $11. Of course concessions area little pricy. The seats have had some wear and tear over the years but overall they're okay. Part of the reason why I rated this so low is because of the customer service. Bought a popcorn and coke which came to $11.21. Gave her $15.25 and received 4 cents back. When I questioned it she opened her register and held up a ten and a one and said that is what I gave her. My husband was standing next to me and saw what I gave her. We asked to speak to the manager who just shrugged his shoulders. When I worked retail if a customer questioned their change we could cash out the register and count the cash. No attempt was made to verify anything. I then asked for the general manager's name at the box office. They weren't sure of the manager's name and had to Goggle the phone number. This place has really gone down hill since becoming AMC. No one there seems to care. Very grumpy employees at concession counter. New management is needed. read more

I've watched the decline of this place from being a brand new, state of the art multiplex to being a dirty, outdated theater (the bird droppings alone that are your last impression when leaving the theater look like a biohazard!) that is understaffed and the overworked staff is not the friendliest or most helpful. We came here today because my son wanted to see a movie that wasn't playing in many theaters. This place really needs some attention. Most of the games in the game area (can't even call it a game room) do not work. The token machine doesn't work--and when I went to the concession stand to ask for change she said no because she couldn't open her register. The girl at the concession stand had no personality and was borderline rude. When I asked her if I could purchase a smaller cup she told me that she's just the minimum wager who doesn't make the rules! No need to ever return. read more

I'm writing this review due to the fact that for this years most anticipated movie Avengers endgame I ended having to sit in the theater for an hour for no one person to tell anyone that the movie was not starting or not knowing when it will be started. The light have flickered a few times with in outrage no movie. No care to handle the situation that was going on from an authorized figures of AMC. How do you leave all these people in your theater and not care to notify them. I will say they were offering refunds. However just refunds on the cost of the ticket. No not the cost of your drinks , pop corns, snacks and or forms of transportation to and from because you thought u were gonna see a movie . Terrible experience!!! read more

Now that this theater is no longer Muvico, I'll never be coming back. I hate you AMC. The food quality and quantity used to be the best until now. We used to get tenders that came with a ton of fries for 9 bucks. Now with it being AMC,Tenders and fries are now separate. No more cheese fries. Curly fry portions are smaller now. Oh and if u want cheese sauce u have to buy the little pack from the nachos. I was beyond infuriated because this was my favorite theater when it came to food. AMC only cares about milking as much money out of people as possible rather than give them a lot for what they pay. The only thing they did good was put a Coca Cola freestyle machine on the outside. This is my favorite movie theater in the area. The seata are very comfortable and they let you choose your seat ahead of time so you can snag the best seat early and go have dinner before the movie starts. The prices are a little bit higher than other theaters, but I think its worth it if you are going out to the movies. read more

One word FILTHY, how about doing something about the pigeons hanging out pooping all over at the entrance way. The seats need to be updated to a more hygienic material than cloth. It's hot in the summertime, cold in the winter. AMC you really need to put some money into this theatre, the state of the place is driving customers away in droves. read more

I was impressed when coming to this theater that the people who work there actually appreciate what the do. Upon arrival doors were opened, we were greeted with smiling faces, and the staff were very accommodating - something you usually don't expect when going to a theater. The seats were comfy and the screens were huge. Theater was clean and pristine. It's a Muvico, so you can expect a comfortable seat, and expensive concessions. $9.25 for a small soda and Sour Patch Kids....Two movie tickets for $30.70. One should spend the little extra to go to iPic up a few more exits in Boca Raton. Now that is a nice theatre! For improvement, I would like to see 3D glasses waiting for me at the actual auditorium. I don't like to deal with lines, so I collect my tickets at the door, and head straight into the theatre. This place is so colossally big, that to run back to the customer service desk after you are already running late to the movie, is irritating. read more

I decided to break the run on gym reviews I was on and go to the movies.... On the rare occasion that the wife & I go to the movies, it's here or the Boca Muvico. They do a great job, keep the place clean and always have great show times with 18 screens. The sound and film quality is very good and they have 3 typically overpriced movie theater food stands. Usually, only the main one is open, but during busy times, they open all 3 which makes for quick service, which is really nice. There is a kids daycare center, but we haven't tried that one here either. read more

I have resided in Pompano on and off for a very long time. I have seen the decline of this movie theatre throughout the years. It is unfortunate that there has been little done to maintain the exterior and lobby of this location. The crowd outside is very disruptive and at times even offensively rude. My local theater, and a decent one at that. Lines are never too long, the serve yourself ticket kiosks are always available (and working 75% of the time), and there are good reclining seats in most of the theaters. Being able to book specific seats (evenings and weekends only) is a nice touch, Downsides would be the incessantly older crowd who loudly talk their way through movies (and, more to the point, the absence of staff to monitor), and the high proportion number of D-Box seats, pushing you into them even when - as is currently the case - most movies are no better with the nascent technology. Still, decent spot, and always a good chance of getting seats for new releases. read more

Apart from the soliciting and persistent blood donation bus crew, which will chase you and get in your face to ask for blood donations, it's okay. The theater really ought to put an end to this, or my friend and I will find another movie theater to go to. That's harassment, plain and simple. I have no problem if they want to put a ginormous "FREE MOVIE TICKETS WITH YOUR BLOOD DONATION" by the line for the box office so as to attract people, but don't harass or stalk people. Other than that, the seats were comfortable and it wasn't crowded, but the gash on the movie screen should be repaired as it bothered me throughout the movie and gave the screening room a run-down feel. read more

This movie theater has been the best in the area since it opened. It's very clean, kept up to date with digital 3D and 4K projectors. The prices are not quite as high as most modern movie theaters either. You can also add the option of a motion seat for most major movie releases but that's kind of on the expensive end so I have personally not tried that. The staff is very kind as well and the food is decent (costly as expected for food at the movies). read more
