    10in cheese stuffed pizza
    Sandy N.

I ordered around 5:30 on Friday and the wait time was 50min and we came right on time for carry out but still had to wait an extra 10 minutes. The restaurant was busy but as expected for a Friday evening. Inside there are 2 small tables, most likely for patrons waiting for their food. I heard good things about their thin crust and obviously had to try their stuffed pizza. We got a 16in pepperoni thin crust and a 10in cheese stuffed pizza. This was a lot of pizza for 2 but we had to try both kinds! I'm a big fan of their thin crust but thought it could use a little more sauce. But it's a great tavern style pizza. I'm glad I tried the stuffed pizza but it's way too crusty. I recommend getting a side of sauce to dip it in. It was soft and cushiony. The 10in was plenty and would be a good taster for a larger group. We'll for sure be back for Scotty's thin crust pizza!

The food was bland, dry I only ordered a 10 inch and that took over an hour to get to me it's the middle of the day on a Thursday. I won't be getting food from here again!

Pizzeria Scotty Stuffed Cheese Pizza: My favorite style of pizza is pan pizza, but a close second is stuffed pizza. Pizzeria Scotty serves Chicago style stuffed pies but is located in Milwaukee. Their stuffed pizza contains a sweet and flavorful tomato sauce on top of a thin layer of crust (so for you other pizza aficionados out there, yes I realize it's not technically Chicago style). Below this first layer of crust is stuffed double portions of cheese (along with any other desired toppings) and then the base layer of crust. I'm a huge fan of cheese and usually order extra cheese, but their pizza has had generous amounts of cheese every time I've visited. The crust is simply superb. It's a soft doughy crust with a hint of butter and just the right amount of chewiness. Honestly, it's the best stuffed pizza I've had, and I've visited all the big players in Chicago. For those of you that are not into stuffed pizza, they also offer thin crust, double dough, and pan style. Doughboy approved! doughboy_food_reviews *I think the crust could potentially be even better if they offered a version brushed in garlic butter My favorite stuffed pizza parlors: 1.Pizzeria Scotty 2.Gino's East 3.Giordano's

Been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. First red flag was when the person taking the order was rude right off the bat. Delivery on a Tuesday took 2 hours. Food was all cold. Super disappointing, would never go back.

Sauce seems to have changed from prior, much sweeter from what i recall,I prefer no sugar in my sauce. Meatballs good but sauce distracted. Older guys at cash registers diving up tip on my order in front of me. They did not seem friendly on phone or in person. Help hard to come by I understand completely.

Why did I wait so long to try this slice of pizza heaven!? I have seen the great reviews and heard about Pizzeria Scotty but haven't gotten around to trying it...until this week. Just on the food alone I was blown away, but the service as well. We had the Chicago Pan Pizza. It was fantastic! The sauce was great and the perfect amount of cheese. When we picked up our pizza we were greeted by a friendly guy who asked if we had ever had their pizza. We stated this was our first time and he gave us a 10% discount as well as suggestions as to what to try next. This will now be our go to pizza place. It was fabulous! Can't wait to go back.

Best thin crust pizza around, only downside is they are always busy so it takes a Long time for delivery, but we'll worth the wait.

They had a special pizza, which was red sauce, mozz, ramps (which is a type of onion), pepperoni and a garlic drizzle. This pizza was so delicious. We also opted to try the Smolwaukee pizza; this did NOT disappoint. The buffalo wings were amazing and I was really eyeing the bbq ones but opted for the buffalo. I'm not too down with this hot honey fad, so they were able to keep the hot honey off, which I appreciated. They had a Buffalo ranch that complimented the wings so well. This spot does stop serving food May 7th and transition to their food truck. The space is then used to rent out for events and such. I truly look forward to eating here again!

Continued expansion may be inevitable, so I figured I'd give their food a try see where it stacks up against other chain pizza stores. For Pi Day (March 14th) they had a special of a 6" mini pizza for free with the purchase of a 20oz soda. I got extra cheese and linguisa (a type of sausage) on the pizza. I also ordered six garlic not-knots for an appetizer. The garlic not-knots were very good. I didn't read the item description before ordering since I assumed they were just garlicky dough, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had cheese on/in them and a little crunch from the baked cheese. The pizza was ok. The linguista didn't stand out like I hoped it would and the amount of cheese on the pizza is what I would have expected it normally have, so I don't know if they added extra or not. That said, I'd rather have their pizza than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Toppers, or Little Caesars. Papa John's is still my preferred chain pizza store though. Two things that may hurt this Mountain Mike's chances of succeeding: price and location. Their pizzas are pretty expensive (for example, a 14" cheese pizza is $25). I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards to get discounts rather than paying full price. As for location, this particular strip mall is always packed, making parking very difficult. Being in a busy area not far from Southridge Mall is fine if you want a lot of potential customers, but that location might be a turn off once people try to visit.

While waiting I noticed all of the families dining here and I knew that I was going to have a good meal. The complimentary bread basket arrived quickly with butter. This bread was ok tasting but was a little on the dry side for me (3). Then the side salad showed up and I was pleased with its size. Almost like a small entree. It was very good tasting being a quality made salad. Less than 15 minutes later the entree appeared and looked very good. It was a generous size and I had some extra parmesan sprinkled on top. The fettuccine, mushrooms, sausage and meat sauce along with the 4 cheeses all came together and made for a satisfying and filling meal. After this meal, I was happy and would be glad to return.
