The guy that came to jump my car was so professional and kind hearted. I was was ready to have to tow it, the battery has been dead for months, but he got it running. A five year old knows you need to keep it running at least 1/2 hour, but I was on auto pilot and turned it off. He was still there, and got it up and running again. I needed to park somewhere for a few days due to maintenance in my building. He let me know I would definitely get towed from where I was and showed me where to park safely. What a sad business to be in. I had actually eaten at the restaurant of the parking lot I was towed from. I had eaten there for at least 15 years and never had an issue. But I apparently tonight I stayed slightly longer than the posted limit. The limit is tiny letters that I had never seen in all my time going there. They know what they're doing. And now my car is towed. This company should be really proud of themselves for destroying people's lives by towing cars that of actual patrons. Over $500 in fees. Legalized robbery. read more

Absolute criminals. My daughter was one hour late getting her car out of a city parking lot, (she paid to park there) and her car was towed. This is admittedly her fault. They towed it UNDER one mile, and had it for under twelve hours. They charged her $400.00 for this. They told her to bring $400.00 cash, but didn't tell her that to open the "gate" on the weekend so she could get her car was an additional $110.00 They do take credit cards (because it's legally required), but specifically told her to bring cash. Absolutely highway robbery. Will be reported to the Vehicle Tow and Storage Board for their deceptive business practices. read more

Absolutely the worst! Called at 9 AM; it's 1 PM now and finally cancelled since during those 4 hours they lied 4 times, saying they are 25 minutes, 45 minutes away, etc. Then they said they had completed the tow; they never came! Stay away from these liars. read more

I had to book tow service through my car insurance. It was my first time using this benefit under my insurance instead of AAA, so I was curious which provider would pick up my case (I drive old, clapped out cars, I know tow services well ). I was sent Alex from America Tow and he is truly a gem! He called to notify me of his ETA, which was super helpful because my insurance app glitches on me! He also checked some basics to ensure they weren't preventing me from getting back on the road. He determined a few elements that contributed to my car's fight against me and towed me back home. Well they sure know how to make their money, last night after a concert had my car towed last night (understand my fault). Ended at 11:30pm, called them immediately to to get information to get it back. They said I had to make an appointment and it would be $400 for only having it less than 5 hours. I asked how soon I could get an appointment and thankfully they said as soon as I could get the money. I asked multiple times if they take card but they said cash only which looking at a previous review they do in fact take card. Since they lied about not taking cards it took me over an hour to find an Uber to even got to a near atm and then get my car. They really just did everything to make it hard to get my car back, I'm sure if I didn't ask when to make a so called appointment that same night they wouldn't have let me know. I am not from the area and still had a long drive home so I had to get my car that same night. Once I picked up my car I even asked the guy again(not the same guy that I talked to the phone) if there was a reason why they didn't take card, he just said if I wanted the owners number, I said no since I just wanted to go home but I should've taken it. So all in all for towing the car less an a mile and having it less than 5 hours charging $400 is robbery. read more

Seriously way too expensive I found at least two more tow companies with reasonable prices in the immediate area and I wish I had searched just a little bit before using their services. Also visited the tow yard after my tow and I guess you're not supposed to expect much from a tow company but this was such a rinky-dink operation like the kind of place you don't feel comfortable giving your credit card to. Also there is a house in front of the office? With all the shades drawn? I'm not judging but I think somebody lives there and is running this Business but I see after five they charge $110 for every half hour they are there to release your car When somebody is living there and is there already? And it doesn't matter if they are there for one minute or half an hour you're getting charged a full 110. Again way too expensive obviously just built to bleed as much money from you as they can read more

Not only were they quick their customer service was great via phone and in person. A gentlemen named Noah saved the day! He brought his positive energy and was so polite, extremely helpful. America Tow and Auto was superb! Our van broke down on the 101 on our way back to Santa Barbara where we reside. Having my two daughters as company that day, I was a little unnerved being stuck in a very narrow space on the side of the 101. My husband helped make the call to America Tow and was told it would be about 30 minutes. Much to our surprise, being as we were not in the easiest place to find, America Tow showed up in 10 minutes. We were super relieved! It turned out, it was the owner who picked up our call that day. He was kind, professional and efficient at getting things in order. We needed an additional tow, the next day, with some special circumstances, and the owner was willing, able and gracious in meeting our need.
