These guys are great. Alex repaired and waterproofed two old balconies in our building in four days. The balconies were 35 years old and had never been waterproofed. I requested for a proposal for my balcony waterproofing. Marvin was quick in response initially and provided me with pricing quickly. When I asked for specific on the splashing work, Marvin was unable to confirm with me whether the proposal included 3"-4" height of the splashing on the stucco and stone wall. If you are looking to redo your balcony, you should be well educated on how the splashing area needs to be done. This is rather critical to your waterproofing ability especially if your balcony is on top of a room or interior space. I called and texted Marvin several times and got no answer. Unfortunately, American Decking did not provide reasonable scope explanation. And they did not respond in a timely manner. read more

We have recently had our second story balcony repaired by American Decking and  Waterproofing. Because they did such a great job I want to share my experience. They are in great demand, so do allow time for scheduling. Once that is in place, their timing worked out exactly as anticipated. They estimated 4 days and that's how long it took. The balcony is just outside our bedroom but they accessed it mostly from the outside with a ladder so as not to disturb us. The actual work was done by an amazing team of two led by Alex. His expertise, workmanship, attention to detail and desire to please us were obvious.
