Ate there today.. Tuesday July 22nd 2025, around 12 noon..spent 26.00 dollars for a 10 piece teriyaki wing, fried rice and drink...wings were disgusting and small...teriyaki sauce was Watery...shrimp fried rice tasted fishy....don't waste your money,at this location..as I was waiting for my order,..one customer walked out after the cashier told him his order costed 20 dollars for 10 plain wings and fries...he told the cashier that price was to much...as I was getting my order, the hispanic female co worker asked me was I very hungry..?..,,the food was horrible the wings were overcooked, absolutely no flavor...the teriyaki sauce was watery, and unflavored...the rice was a small portion, and the shrimp was fishy ass hell, and probably consisted of 4 small shrimp ..save your cash...there are much better options in the west end area..

French fries w/lemon pepper wet sauce and blue cheese dressing

I love this American deli in the west end mall. They are literally probably the only business holding this mall together . Lol I like to get the French fries with lemon pepper wet sauce to get my wing fix

On a beautiful early summer day with warm sunshine and gentle breezes, it was a pleasure to sit at…read moreone of the outside patio tables, overlooking the colorful flower garden and the lazy river -with food and service that lived up to this restaurant's positive reputation and its 5 star reviews. Food: 5/5 We decided to try a leisurely lunch. The menu is not large, but it has enough variety to be interesting. Everything we tried was delicious. The smoked salmon appetizer portion was large, but the best part was the great flavor. I can see why this choice has been on the menu for years. The Vidalia onion soup will be a surprise for the non-Georgians who expect it to be similar to a savory beef broth like French onion soup. Georgia's onions from the Vidalia area are sweet and tasty enough to carry the soup without the help of a meat broth and the green pesto sauce offers a nice additional touch. The salmon on fresh salad was done perfectly. The panka-crusted cod with mashed potatoes and spinach was outstanding. Both were seasoned so lightly that the true flavors shone through. The portions were generous enough that dessert at the time would have been too much, but others can do as we did and take home one of the dessert choices. Next time we plan to try their sandwiches which looked yummy at other tables. Service : 5/5 Service was excellent from the pleasant greeting, through the entire meal. Our server, Clayton, couldn't have been more helpful with the menu, as well as being very efficient and amiable. He made sure our food was served promptly and our beverages glasses were full, and our requests were met quickly. Facility: The facility lends itself to the riverside experience from the canoe in the entryway ceiling to the flowers and bird feeders just beyond the patio tables. The white tablecloth ambiance informs you that this isn't a fast-food experience. There are tents set aside in a more private are of the garden as a lovely venue for special events Location : This isn't a quick roadside stop next to a 6-lane highway. Even though the restaurant is convenient to dine in an Atlanta suburb, the roads to the restaurant wind and meander for a short distance through one of the prettiest neighborhoods, with a canopy of large old trees, with lovely fences, hedges, and gates lining the road. There is courteous valet parking at the front door. The restaurant is not inexpensive but it is well worth the prices paid, in our opinion.

I'd understand if they stated it online or somewhere but they decide each evening whether or not they will take any takeout orders and then only way to find out is by calling. This is incredibly frustrating because you can't plan or count on being able to get food from there and with a menu as expensive as theirs that's just unacceptable, in my opinion. My impression is that they are stuck in the 1980s around when they opened and don't want to update the experience. Hence their post strict dress code and arbitrary takeout policy.

It's typically packed, especially when the weather is nice. As far as the food goes, it's okay. Nothing bad, but also nothing I've had here has ever really impressed me. I usually just grab the fries when I'm there because they're easy and consistent. The biggest draw for me is really the location more than the menu. It works well for a casual stop, a drink, or a quick bite before or after walking the BeltLine. Convenient, lively, and well located, but the food itself is nothing to write home about.

The peach and the pork were a great combination, Overall well worth visiting. Make a reservation though. :-)

If you're unfamiliar, the restaurant serves a standard, pre-fixe menu of bread , a salad, frites, and steak. This is where things fell flat for me. The bread is a hard loaf in a paper bag. Maybe an ode to traditional serving, but no one offered to cut the bread nor were we provided a bread knife... my dining mate didn't want to work that hard to get any bread... inconvenient and wasted. The salad... I wasn't at all a fan of the dressing. It was very vinegary and pungent... not at all balanced. The frites were cooked to pure perfection; however, they lacked seasoning. The steak... this is where I was totally disappointed. While the steak was cooked to the right temperature (medium rare), it was sooooooo chewy, no marble... I found myself spitting out tough parts. Maybe Whole Foods' grass fed ribeyes have me spoiled, but this wasn't at all what I would expect of a restaurant that specializes in steak. My beverages (tequila daisy and traditional margarita) were uneventful. I also didn't feel they were balanced. The customer service was excellent. Once we got inside, we were seated under an AC vent that was literally dripping water on us. Not exactly the brunch experience I had in mind , but our server was helpful and moved our table over to try to make us more comfortable, which I appreciated. As for the buffet, the food was okay overall. The standouts for me were definitely the fried chicken, mac & cheese, and waffles. Those were the winners! I wasn't really a fan of the eggs or pancakes, but there were enough options to find something I enjoyed. Now that Crown of Courage drink?! Whew! They were NOT playing around with the liquor. It was STRONG, so consider yourself warned! The vibe inside was chill and laid-back, and the live DJ was playing some really good music, which definitely helped set the mood for Sunday brunch. Overall, I'd come back for the vibes, music, fried chicken, mac & cheese, and maybe another Crown of Courage... but next time I'll make sure I'm not driving.
