My first experience at this location was wonderful. I wish I remembered the name of the young ladies at the counter. They both were super friendly and had some of the best jokes I've heard in a long time. Because of these two I returned for a second time. This experience was not as pleasant. The girls at the front were not so nice. It did not seem as if they liked each other and were forced to work together. I have not returned to this or any location due to the lack of customer service. The wings were horrible. They served old pigeon size wings. I tried calling to speak with the manager and was hung up on twice. the prices are high and then they serve old pigeon size wings. I'm very disappointed and money was Definitely wasted. read more

My 81 year ild father ordered delivery, he's new to the area and these were the tiniest wings I have ewer seen, did they come from a Cornish Hen? You want a bad experience, food,customer service this is the place to be the display for the food is (blackout unseeable ) you can't even see what to order, there is no communication amongst the staff or drive, only attitude and bad service definitely won't be back. your welcome. read more

I ordered a burger and it was the worst burger I have had since I was in high school in 2000. It wasnt fresh, unusually dense and flavorless. No way they should be serving burgers. Now, I feel sick from eating that burger. On a positive note, the fries were good. read more

Extremely excited to have an ammetican deli near my house. The brand new location is very clean and had great table furniture. I ordered a lot because it's a rarity when I get to have it. 10 wings (lemon pepper w/hot), shrimp fried rice and a small fries. My oRder came out to $17. Expected, but never again. The rice wasn't all that good, but ya know it's not really a fried rice place. I guess. But boi them wings was fiya. The fries here were thicker than usual too so that was good. Like all American delis DONT FORGET WHAT YOU NEED (I.g. Ranch). There service was good as well. I'll probably be visiting frequently. American Deli was fast and efficient right before closing for the night. Please note that after 8:45 PM Sunday - Thursday and 9:45 PM on Friday and Saturday you can only order wings and fries. They had me in and out in five minutes and my food was hot, fresh and accurate. I ordered the 20 pcs chicken wings with teriyaki with lemon pepper sprinkles with French fries! The wings were a good size without looking like injected blown up meat. I'd definitely return for a quick late dinner pick up. read more

I live right down the street from this location. I ordered on DoorDash which stated food would b here in 20 min. It takes 10-15 min to cook and 5 min to get here. It was here on time I'm wondering why I received cold food that looked over cooked. When I called to speak with a manager the rude man yelled and said call doordash. I asked his name which then he yell again call doordash and hung up. This is unacceptable I will definitely take my business else where for now on. read more

I visited this location on Saturday evening January 30,2020. When I walked up to the counter to order my food the young lady behind the counter was not wearing a mask. I, kindly asked where her mask was and, her response too me was "I was eating" Why would you be eating when you are taking care of customers? She was so rude and riddled with attitude. At that point her friend walked in and they started to chat up while I and other customers were standing there still trying to do business. Not even a thank you from her. I asked another employee who owns this place and, she could not even tell me the name. I snapped a picture of everyone working in the place only because most were not wearing their mask over the nose. In these times with the Covid-19 and, the state laws requiring the restaurant workers to wear mask for everyone's safety. I tried to contact someone at the corporate office however they do not answer. I reported this the Cobb/Douglas Dept of Health. For your safety and, your family's safety stay away from this place or you might get something you do not want to get. read more

I was excited to this American Deli today and I ordered food for me and my son. When I came back to pick it up, I noticed some important things during Covid-19: 1. None of the cooks had masks on and I know that's a requirement now. 2. The ladies at the register didn't have mask either, nor gloves. Like what? You are opening up people's containers to confirm orders and you have no mask or gloves? 3. When I told the manager that I wanted a refund bc of reason #1 and #2, he had the cashier give me my refund, but then I saw him cleaning off the ranch and blue cheese containers with the same rag instead of wipes. I've eaten at several other American Deli's and never had a problem. Order the same thing every time I go. I will never come back to this location. Ordered online for pickup and when I came in to get my food, the staff was sitting down behind the counter, music blaring. No greeting, they just stood up and looked at me. Got my food and left. I only live 12 minutes from this location and while my food was still hot, the tilapia was drier than the Sahara and the fried rice was burnt. One tartar sauce for six pieces of fish. Called to let the store know and request that they fix my meal since it was inedible and a woman named "Sean/Shawn" said that was the cook's fault and they'd have to call doordash since I ordered online. She was rude, said her manager was washing dishes and couldn't be bothered to come to the phone. She wouldn't give us the number for doordash and couldn't or wouldn't give us their store number. If you want American Deli, go to another location because this one is absolutely terrible on all levels. read more

Decided to try this place again despite my last experience with the young ladies at the counter (previous Google review below and not so good). Today by far exceeded expectations and my last visit. They have new girls behind the counter. Jessie waited on me today and what a turn around! Very nice, efficient, and professional. Great job girls and guys!! The food is delicious! read more

There are rude teenaged girls running the cashier and phones at this location. They always have nasty attitudes. My first experience I called in an order and when I got there to pick it up neither of them knew how to ring me up and wouldn't ask for help. They snapped at me to be patient and a cook heard them and came to help. The second time my order was wrong and the two girl debated over whose turn is was to work the cash register. And then today I call to ask about the hours of operation for new years day and they laughed then told me to ask Google then hung up the phone. Never go to this American Deli! read more

The food is wonderful, but their customer service sucks, everytime i go ther we spend $30-50, they take phone orders, tell u 20 mins when u get there is when they make food. Another time , the last time, I had Doordarshan delivery, they gave me fries instead if wings, first they said. "Blame it in Doordarsh", then they said nothing they can do, then kids started playing in the phone. Ben, they say is the manager that NEVER is around. So he's using these young black people to take the slack, and they have no clue about customer service.. So food is just ok, for those in a pinch nights. I had only previously used it via Grub Hub delivery w/no issues. Now, as to Covid safety protocols? I give this ZERO STARS! For a change I decided to do pick-up of the order instead of delivery and that will be the last time. We are in the middle of yet another huge up-tick in cases and I was aghast at the lack of safety protocols by this place, shame on management!!! Only one of the three manning the front had their masks fully on. One carried under chin, the other under nose. They allowed WAY too many people in (though at least the door was left open) at once, with way less then adequate spacing. About 1/4 of the people w/out masks. One lady was going off at the workers about her order being messed up, and kept removing her mouth to yell at them (spittle coming out). Management never once asked her to at least keep it on while yelling. Geesh, overall my county has surprised me with the majority trying to be very cautious but this place was very negligent about safety precautions.
