I have been wanting to try this cool spot for a while now because it opened up really close to my apartment. I finally went the other night and I was beyond impressed! The staff is helpful and friendly. My waiter was Steven and I couldn't be more thankful for how he went above and beyond for our group! He was very personable and attentive through our visit. We got a few of the rotating cocktail flights they offer which is so cool and unlike anywhere else in the area. I was able to try out 4oz glasses of their margaritas and sangria (they switch up which cocktail is on the flights periodically- can't wait to go back and try another!). My favorite restaurant outside of Boston!!!! Best pizza I have ever had, and it has been amazing every time I have gone. They have many creative pizzas and even vegan-friendly ones which is awesome! Not to mention great organic salads. The service and atmosphere are also amazing. I always recommend going to restaurant early to bowl and then after getting pizzas. Pizza, beers, bowling... what's not to like?! This place just opened and it's a great addition to the neighborhood. A casual restaurant the entire family can enjoy with great service, food and entertainment. The wood-fired pizza ovens set the ambiance and pump out delicious pies. A huge bar to grab a drink with mostly craft beers on tap. And lastly, old school candle pin bowling. More of an art than a science. Has anyone ever got a strike in candle pin? Like ever? I just ordered delivery from Flatbread Company Brighton and ordered a large sausage, a small chicken flatbread, and a small salad. I am so disappointed at how bland all of the pizza was. I waited 90 minutes for the delivery and then when it came the pizza was cold. All of the toppings on the chicken flatbread are dry (beans, corn, chicken) and the sausage flatbread just doesn't have any flavor. I tried to put some salt and pepper on it to save it but it didn't really work. There's a lot of options to order pizza delivery and I chose flatbread because it had unique options and I was okay with the price for it. Defffffinitely won't be ordering food from here again :( read more

Ordered a pizza for pickup-asked for information on what kind of vegan cheese was on the vegan options ie soy based etc as I have an allergy. The person on the phone could not understand the question and it took far to get an answer that is quite simple. After ordering I was told 20-25 minutes. I arrived 30 minutes later to pick up the pizza and was told it was not done yet. I waited another 12 minutes and watched the host go grab the same pizza that had been sitting waiting the entire time I had been there and handed it to me. At this point it was quite clear the pizza was cold. I brought this to the attention of the host and he acted surprised as if he had no idea why it would be cold. We were made a new pizza, however after more wasted time and over an hour of my time gone, I am completely dissatisfied. Upon opening the box again, I noticed this time there was no cheese. I am quite confused as to what is so unbelievably hard about taking an order and making a pizza. I am very intentional with where I spend my time and money and after wasting both of these things I can confidently say I will not be returning and will ensure no one I know does either. read more

So impressed with the attention to service. In my order, I indicated that I had a medical condition that required all veggies to be well-cooked. Despite it being a busy hour, not 5 minutes after I placed my order through GrubHub I received a call from the restaurant. She was concerned about what I had ordered and wanted to be sure they got it right. Turns out an adjustment was definitely needed. Without her call, I would not have been able to eat my meal. This place is awesome. Pizza is great, atmosphere is amazing and the employees are really nice. The reasoning for 4 stars is because on their website, they have an option to make a reservation but does not actually work. We made a reservation for 6:30pm to reserve a lane but when we got there he told us the online reservations is something they did not set up. We were lucky enough to have an open lane available and bowl for an hour (wish we could have more time). Flatbread Company Brighton was kind enough to allow two of Brighton's Senior Care organizations (Presentation Rehabilitation & Providence House Assisted Living), to form a Memory Cafe event taking place on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 11:00am-12:30pm. Today was our first event, and we are so thankful to their team! They have allowed us to provide Candle Pin Bowling in a fun and dynamic atmosphere and served an assortment of delicious Pizza to our attendees! The people who attended our event today had a great time bowling, laughing, interacting with new friends, but most of all enjoying the DELICIOUS wood fired pizza! The service was wonderful for our big group, and everyone was impressed that there was a good amount of parking available right outside. If you haven't come by Flatbread yet, come check it out ASAP! The ambiance at this Flatbread is nice. There is plenty of seating and bowling alleys both upstairs and downstairs. The service was good. The menu is pretty limited with just salad, pizza and dessert. We shared the cheese and herb and the sausage flatbreads. The cheese and herb flatbread was pretty good. The sausage flatbread lacked flavor, especially considering all of the ingredients that are on it. I found the crust to be tough as well. read more

I hosted a women's Meetup group of 15 women for a Friday night, and was really happy with the event. I made the reservation which was pretty easy and they were willing to do separate checks for food and drinks. I had everyone pay me for the bowling and paid that all as one bill. We met at the bar first and all of the staff were very friendly. Our server, Sage, was very friendly and accommodating, and kept track of everyone's separate orders. The food was good and I got a lot of good feedback. People asked if we could go back there again. There was plenty of free street parking, but there are a couple of paid lots within a block. read more

We went in for dinner the other night before heading into town for a concert. We had a few pizzas ( Vegan) and the special with sweet corn and chipotle sauce ( which was amazing) The only negative feedback is if you just want dinner and people are bowling it is SO loud. We couldn't hear each other talk. I think you should consider closing off the 2nd floor to create a sound barrier so you can enjoy dinner. For 3 lanes of bowling it is just way to loud! read more

My boyfriend and I had dinner there and it was great. The pizza is made in the open so you can watch which is fun. Flatbread = thin crust, just a heads up. The pizza is so yummy. Because of the oven, it's cozy and warm and casual dress is totally ok. (I assume summer won't be terribly hot because they seem to have a pretty robust a/c system). It's a little loud with the bowling lanes, but hey, that's what it is. BOWLING: There's candlepin bowling. Some lanes are for reservations and some are available for walk-ins. It's pretty popular so the wait time might be long if you walk-in. PARKING HINT: On-street parking is tight. Park in the Warrior Ice Arena garage which is on the reverse side of the building. Bring your ticket in to Flatbread to get it validated for a cheaper rate. read more

This place is fantastic. Modern but fun decor. We started with a beer flight and a cocktail flight served in candlepins and a delicious salad special (bacon and blueberry). Awesome local craft beer selection and local vodka for my cocktail flight. We got two flatbreads, one with red sauce and one without - both were great and the "bread" itself was top notch. We had a private space on the second floor with our own bowling lanes - the quintessential New England candlepin experience! The waitstaff was phenomenal and the food was even better! At the Amesbury location you get this great nitrate free pepperoni and in Brighton it didn't look or taste the same at all and the quantity of toppings was light too. The pizza was great, but clearly the skyrocketing popularity of the bowling needs some kinks worked out. When they first opened, you could walk in and bowl, no wait. Clearly word has gotten out, and now you can't make a bowling reservation less than 48 hours in advance or for fewer than 8 people. When I called this morning I was told that they hold two lanes for "walk-ins" and was advised to come for dinner, put my name on the list, and hope to get a lane by the time we were done eating. But when we arrived at 6pm we were told they actually had no lanes open for walk-ins until 10pm. I had some disappointed kids! Would have gone elsewhere if I had been given accurate information when I called in the morning. And the staff did not appear to care at all about the frustration they caused. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood; I hope they can get their act together service-wise. read more

Last weekend, I hosted a charitable fundraising event in their private upstairs area and when I say people raved about it, I'd be underselling. People loved the food, the space, and of course the bowling! The pizza and salad we had were both out of this world good and the candle pin bowling was a blast for a group of mid in our mid 20's and 30's. Great beer selection and the service was fantastic. Traveled from Vermont to Boston for the day. Had a delicious lunch while in the neighborhood checking out the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory. We ordered pepperoni on a veggie flatbread and when the server and baker realized they had forgotten the pepperoni, they immediately baked an additional large pepperoni pie at no charge and we took it home with us. Delicious, fresh, well-crafted salad and great atmosphere. Can't wait to try the bowling next time. If I could give this place less than one star I would. We came in for food and drinks and some bowling but the waitress we had automatically refused one of of our guests (before we even ordered anything) alcohol on a "hunch." The waitress we had refused to serve one of us because she had a "hunch" that she was intoxicated meanwhile we had a driver who got served by her, I got served.... which I had the "most" out of everyone there...The waitress said she had a "hunch" and refused to serve her at all mean while she was the least alcohol inflicted out of everyone there........it ruined our bowling night. read more
