The Muny is truly a treasure! This is the first year in awhile I've been to multiple productions…read more Come from Away and Frozen were stellar! The staff at the Muny are always so friendly, and I find the tickets reasonably priced. Their box office has good hours, so you can avoid the online fees if you want. My plus sized friends also have troubles. I am 6"5', and my thighs are like 3 inches too long to sit without bodily contortion and bruises. I have made friends with other people in the line, and the time passes by quickly. Things to note for the free seats: The earlier you get there, the easier time you'll have finding parking. The Upper and Lower lots are good places to start looking. There is a sandwich board posted with what can be brought in (ex. no aluminum cans, weapons, etc) The gates that let you on the grounds to wait for your seat open at 6 pm. The gates that lead to the actual seats open at 7 pm. The show starts at 8:15, barring any weather delays or technical difficulties. A night at the Muny is so much fun, whether you're in the free seats or paid!
