Sink fell off after they did assembly

This review is in response to the business owner's comment from my previous post: Hello William, Thank you for your response. However, I won't be changing my rating because my husband and I don't agree with the things you said. If you think my previous review was incorrect or an attempt to slander your business, sue me. I can show proofs that everything I said was true. Let's break down the discrepancies: You mentioned the wood was out of stock, your team looked for suppliers and settle where to buy it. But we already found a supplier who held the wood for us. In fact, the reason we chose that specific wood was because it was available in stock, within our budgeted cost per sqft, and could have it delivered by Dec 26th. We called your team from the wood store and have them exchange information with the seller, this was done from our phone while we were in the wood store. Your team didn't follow through. We would've chosen another wood if what we choose wasn't available. Also, your team did forget to work in our bathroom. They didn't come back to fix it until we called to make complaint. The floor replacement was already done several days prior to that. The sink has pre-existing condition? It was perfectly fine pre leak for more than 8 years. Your team demo the vanity & left it in our backyard for almost two months. The sink didn't fell apart until your team came along. You mentioned "free of charge" repeatedly. Let's be real, American Response Team received close to 50k from our homeowners insurance claim payout. Your company was well compensated for the work but why are you making it sounds like they are done for free. We, the homeowners, are the one who had to dealt with the hassle and inconveniences when it come to water damage. The damage and repair disturbs our day to day lives for months. We were moving from air bnb to hotels for several weeks due to reconstruction, the change in living arrangements was very challenging for our two young children. Your team could've advised us not to move out of the house yet if they can't start work right away. We only moved out because we were told they would start work right away and could be done within 2-3 weeks. But turned out they just wanted us to sign a contract. After we vacate our house, your team took 5 weeks to complete the job. Our children would've loved to spend Christmas in our own house had we known they won't be doing much work in our house that week anyway. Thank you for the work but please be upfront about what's getting done and when it will get done, there were so many ways things could've been handled better in our situation.

American Response Team did a great job with the remediation process for my park model tiny home. I had water damage to the kitchen cabinets, drywall, subfloor and insulation due to a pipe leak. Felipe was the lead on the job and always kept me informed about every step of the process. The whole team was very professional throughout. I would highly recommend them.

I believe now I'm experienced when it comes to water damage occurring in your home. About 1 1/2 years ago, we had a slab leak in our closet room that contains our water heater. About 3 weeks ago, I walked into this same closet room and found water shooting from our water heater onto the wall and it was all over the floor. To help us navigate both situations, American Response Team was there to make both stressful situations less stressful. When this recent situation happened, I called my plumber that I also recommend, All American Plumbing, who came out and was in the process of removing our water heater to replace it when they noticed possible mold. They immediately stopped and explained that I might need a mitigation company to determine if there was mold. The plumber immediately recommended American Response Team. I quickly recognized the company's name because it had done such a great job with our slab leak. When the plumber told me they would contact American Response Team to come out and do a consultation, I asked if I could have Erik Anaya come out to do the consultation. He said he would try, but that all employees who worked for American Response Team were quality employees. When the employee from American Response Team came out, I honestly did not know whether it was going to be Erik. Fortunately for me, I opened the door and it was Erik who was going to help us again with this water issue. Allow me to reemphasize that if you have any water damage issue, American Response Team is the company you should call first. I highly recommend that you ask for Erik to be the person to come out to help you with taking care of the water damage. I've had two experiences with Erik assisting us and in both instances, I've been a completely satisfied customer. Erik is professional, respectful, courteous, and friendly. Besides these positive attributes, he is highly competent in making sure the water damage is taken care of. He will help you navigate everything you need with regards to repair, testing, and dealing with your insurance. Erik was respectful with regards to using a mask and being safe during this pandemic. Erik and I don't know each other personally, but our conversation is like we are friends. He exhibits exceptional customer service and I wouldn't hesitate asking for his assistance if we ever have a water issue again, which I hope doesn't happen again. Dealing with water damage issues is a stressful situation. There are a lot of unknowns and it's not like water damage occurs on a regular basis. If you are dealing with this situation, it is imperative that you contact American Response Team. I also suggest you ask for Erik Anaya to be the person that comes out for that initial consultation.

I recently completed a major renovation of my kitchen, master bathroom, and powder room following a…read morewater damage claim, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Coast to Coast. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

Remember what good customer service felt like? Sit down, because I'm about to remind you…read more Between November and March I had three different remediation companies in my home. Two were forgettable. Express Dry was not. Let's start with the basics: they showed up 15 minutes EARLY. I didn't know that was still a thing. From the first call to the final walkthrough, communication was consistent and clear, no chasing anyone down, no vague timelines, no "someone will be there between 8am and never." Before anything else, their first responder, Christian, did a quick health survey -- asthma, allergies, immune compromised household members? They came prepared. That meant a lot to our family and honestly set the tone for everything that followed. The crew arrived that afternoon, introduced themselves, walked through their scope for the day, and then proceeded to professionally protect every floor, wall, and personal item in sight before getting to work. They worked in 100-degree heat, in a garage tent with industrial drying fans blasting, and stayed until 7pm on a Friday night. On a FRIDAY. These people have my respect forever. Each evening you get a full inventory and walkthrough of the day's work plus what's coming next. PMs arrived every afternoon to check progress. I'm convinced they swept up every last speck of dust before they left, the house was cleaner than before they arrived. Shout out to Christian, Omar, and the rest of the crew whose names I absolutely should have written down -- I'm sorry, you all deserved better from me. Meticulous. Professional. Health-conscious. Hard-working. And genuinely good humans. No affiliation. Nothing in it for me. Excellent companies and employees deserve to be recognized, especially in today's service landscape. If you're dealing with water damage, a flood, a slow leak, whatever it is call Express Dry. You'll be very happy you did. ---- 3/23/26 Update 1 - Johnny just left, he was checking on the project, friendly professional, and guess what he also showed up 15 minutes EARLY. I'm telling you you're not going to find a better company. ---- 3/25/26 Update 2 - Salvador just left, he was making sure we hit 15% dryness across the project before packing up the dryers and HEPA filters. He also arrived EARLY, excellent communication, called to make sure timing was okay. He was friendly, respectful and informative and asked if there were any questions and advised next steps. I opted to leave their tents up so the next reconstruction phase of the project didn't get dust everywhere. Would definitely recommend this team!

The only reason I even went with them was because of the impressive plumber I met with that recommended them. They came that night and helped initiate the process of drying the next day. Noah Lopez was the rep and was my contact initially. I saw 3 restoration companies that day and 3 plumbers so I had a decent idea how of much water damage, estimated time of deconstruction and reconstruction. A lot of companies get a bad reputation because they try and tear up as much as possible and I thought Express Dry was different but I was proven wrong. After a few days of drying, they all of a sudden discovered that my tiles were 30-99% saturated and they had to rip them up which would add another 2 weeks of work. I was confused on how this was NOT spotted initially by them or any other company I saw that initial day of interviewing. Everyone commented on how I should be lucky that the tiles didn't get wet. So obviously I called BS on them. They tried several scare tactics by having me sign some hand written statement that I would be liable and having multiple try and convince me to remove the tiles. Thank God I got a second opinion and had an outside company return to check for water damage and they too once again confirmed that tiles weren't wet and even if they were, there are other options that don't involve tearing up the tile. I thought I was getting a company that looked out for me but they were obviously looking to rip off the insurance company and make money for them. Noah tried to convince me not to contact my insurance company myself and he would do it all for me but I'll glad I called my insurance while he was present. I think that made him upset because after that, he went from being pleasant to being irritated, especially after the process began and I attempted to contact him. There were other things they did that also rubbed me the wrong way but I don't want to get anyone fired. Just another example of how can't even trust people to have some decency, even in 2026

Suddenly all heck breaks loose and you've now got several walls full of water. After realizing exactly what I had done (the fire alarm helped me understand), I called around all the big name companies that do this sort of water damage repair. The quotes I got were ridiculously HIGH. I decided to go local and gave Moe and his team (read: family) a call. Not only could they fit me into their schedule quickly, but they are also a one stop shop, meaning, when they leave your house, it looks just like it did before you broke your sprinkler pipe. Most of those big name companies require you to get someone else to do the drywall/painting part. All the Mold Safe guys that worked on the job were not only related to each other, they were also great workers and great people. They kept everything clean and showed up when they said they would. They kept me in the loop as to what was being done and explained anything I asked questions about. They dried the walls, cut out and replaced the wet drywall and added the matching orange peel texture when they did the final painting. Color matched, perfect finish. And when Ted was finished fixing the hole in the stucco left by the sprinkler system guy (yeah, it has to be a certified professional who fixes anything to do with your sprinkler system, not just any plumber), he went around my house with the left over spackle and fixed several other stucco dings in my house. Above and beyond. Like I said at the beginning, you really don't want to ever have to call these guys, but if you do find yourself in this sort of a situation, don't risk the mold, just call Moe. There's a reason they have dozens and dozens of 5 star reviews here. Highly recommended.

I felt peace of mind that our home would be in good shape thanks to Ted's quality of work. Micah also came with Ted one of the days and was also respectful, skillful and efficient.
