I went into this site location today because I had my brakes installed at another one of their stores and they were making horrible sounds. The worker who helped me named Ernesto was the best help I've had in a long time. He helped me right away and explained every detail of what he was doing to check in with me before he worked in the car. I was soo upset at how much I had paid to just have to have the work redone but after the aweaome job he did I was fine with driving soo far. He woke fast and made sure all the I was satisfied before I drove off. I would definetly rather drive all that ways to get that awesome service than to have it done wrong at a stor close by. read more

Just finished having the speediest oil change ever! I was in and out the door in 25 minutes! I called 5 minutes prior to arrival to see if they could take me, they did! I used the Yelp discount and paid a total of $20. Service was friendly and fast, Michael was the salesman I worked with. If only they did a multiple point inspection, but if you're just looking for a plain oil change this works! read more

My husband told me that I need to change tires on my Toyota Sienna (2014), and I should go to American Tire Depot in Clovis, because only they have K* tires. He warned me that it will take 3 hours to change tires. So, I called on Monday morning to get appointment for Saturday, because I didn't want to waste my time waiting. Some staff member took all my information and told me that he will call me back because it's special order. I waited two days - never got any call back. On Wednesday I called again, wondering what is going on. Another staff member with older voice (unfortunately I don't know his name) was very helpful, entered all my information through their website, so I can get online discount. I told him that I want to get appointment for Saturday, because it's long waiting time. He said that it's not necessary because waiting time is approximately ONE hour, and my car would be served as soon as it possible. He gave me confirmation number. When I came there on Saturday morning at 10am, it was a lot of cars on a parking lot. I talked to younger staff member, gave him confirmation number, but he had hard time to find it. Later he told me that it was hard, because it was different first name on my order. ??? Sounds strange, because confirmation number and car information were correct, he could just clarify name. Also, I believe he was that staff member, who I talked on Monday and who got all my info and never called me back. I asked how long it will take to change tires. Hour? He said that longer. Two - three hours? He answered yes. ??? But on Wednesday I was told that only One hour! Ok. I didn't start argue, just asked to call me when it's ready. Three hours I was killing my time at Sierra Vista Mall. No phone call. After three hours wasting my time, I came back to American Tire Depot. They even didn't start working on my car!!! I went in the office all furious. Likely for me it was another staff member (older man, most likely manager), he got my folder and went to check what was going on. Came back and told me that they will start to work on my car right away. He told me that it happened because three cars came at same time. Really? It was just excuse. Because, I never saw customer, who was behind me in a morning, while I was waiting for another hour in a waiting room. His car got served before my car??? I have strong feeling that my car was put behind everyone else's car just because I wasn't sitting in the waiting room and couldn't control situation. Unfortunately I was so mad that I didn't ask their names, and didn't complain to the manager. My main complains: 1. I was told that it will take one hour, but it took 4 hours!!! 2. I wanted to make appointment and they didn't accept it. They could recommend me another day of the week if Saturdays are crazy. 3. I wasn't warned by staff member that it will take more than 3 hours. If I knew it I would just turn around and go back despite that I live in Auberry and spent 45 minutes driving down to Clovis. That waiting ruined all my plans for the day. On the top of everything, when I was driving back home, I decided to check how car drives at the speed 70-80ml per hour on freeway. It was shaking after speed reached 70mph. When I had my old tires, it was never that way even over 80mph. I'll check if tires wasn't balanced properly and update my review. UPDATE: First I gave one star, but after I posted my review, Jason from Customer Service sent message to me and we discussed issue, so I'm changing it to 3 stars, just because management cares how their customers are treated. This is why I ALWAYS choose ATD: I ran over a screw, but I still have a warranty at ford so I went there and they said they'll probably have to change the tire completely which will cost me $200 oh because of the location of screw. I decided to go to ATD to get a second opinion and buy a new tire from them because they've always been wonderful. So after work, I went to ATD to see what they would say and he took my key and fixed it in 15 minutes. Nothing to sign, and nothing out of pocket. We needed a set of oversize tires ASAP. After calling numerous local tire shops., we were able to locate a set at Clovis American Tire Depot. They were able to meet the lowest price I was quoted and scheduled us to install them the next morning. Although we had problems with the delivery of the tires to the shop, Al, the new Manager, did everything in his power to satisfy our needs for a quick turnaround and was wonderful to work with. Some of the reviews on Yelp are not very favorable and initially we were very concerned that we would not meet our time frame Al went above and beyond to make sure that our vehicle was done quickly and correctly. I wholeheartedly recommend Al and his amazing team. They were great to work with Thank you Al, you are the best!!! read more

So, let me start off by saying I called around town, did some research and pricing. I needed a 4-wheel alignment, oil change and brake check. When I called American Tire, Jerry answered the phone. He immediately asked my name and answered any questions I had. I ultimately decided to go with this place despite the mixed reviews. I took my car in after work at 4pm and spoke to Jerry. Very polite and he talked while I was in their waiting room. Not only to me, but to all the other customers as well. First, they did the oil change. No biggie. Next the alignment. A little more work. My husband had just installed a lift kit on my FJ so it needed an alignment. This took a bit longer, but if you need good work done to your car, you shouldn't mind waiting. Next, I had heard some rubbing/scratching from the rear tires so we had them check the brakes... they found the issue and my husband decided that he would just do himself since it was minor. They never argued or tried to convince us otherwise. They put my car back together, and it was ready to go. I didn't mind the wait at all. And after being treated poorly at another place, American Tire restored my faith. We will definitely be going back and they have gained regular customers in us. The mechanics were also friendly and spoke to us as well. They treat you how you should be treated. I would recommend this place to anyone and especially ask for and work with Jerry. read more

I'm very disappointed with these guys at the Blackstone and Shaw locations. After getting the DM number that I had to get rude about because Tony refused to give me, I still am not pleased. A few months ago I called to get an oil change and was given different quotes than my nephew on the same car. When I finally got the quote That my nephew was given They changed my oil, allegedly. They were also supposed to rotate my tires which I was almost certain they did not do. I called and spoke to Moses and he did not confirm or deny that it was completed but did say he would take care of me. I did not go on thinking I might be over reacting. Fast forward to yesterday. I took my truck to rotate the tires and guess what. They refused to do it because my tires were too bad due to not keeping up the rotation. The DM did offer to compensate on some new tires which when I arrived today Tony knew nothing about. I went to the Clovis store as my son in law said that the guy at Blackstone was rude who was tony was the one that refused to help him and to my surprise he was the one that helped me With his bad attitude trying to be courteous. I get it, i complained. I had no ideas this was the same guy that helped him. When my son in law walked in he seemed uneasy. He talk down to him and treated him like he was a dumb kid. I Left feeling like crap because I don't like to see people talking down to my family or looking down at them. he also made it seem like he was giving me a good deal on alignment and oil change. Mind you I know what stuff costs. Do not insult my intelligence. Poor customer service and I know my bad for coming back after several bad experiences. This is only because I got my tires there. Don't make the same mistake I did. We are paying for a service and that should come with good customer service. So annoyed at this time. Later post. I do not think there is anything you can do as this is not my first second third or even fourth time. You can refund me my money on the oil change that I probably didn't get the first time. I will never buy my tires from there again. Bought 4 new tires for $1000. Was told they could not do the alignment because I needed all 4 front lower control bars replaced. Quote (although they spelled it quoat) $1425. I said I would think about it. An hour later called me again and said - Okay, $1200.00 out the door. I said I would speak to my husband. Picked up car without the alignment and took it to our mechanic this morning. One lower arm only needs replaced $340.00. I believe they are crooks. IMO read more

Great service over the phone. Excellent price. Friendly counter staff. That is where the positive stuff ends. The shop was not busy and I was told changing four tires would take less than an hour. An hour and a half later my car was put on the lift, then they couldn't find the tires. Since it took so long it was past closing time. The guys in the shop were dropping F bombs while talking about trying to quickly get done for the day. NOBODY moved with a sense of urgency at all. They carried one tire across the shop instead of two. Watching the process drove me nuts. The staff was friendly but it took twice as long as quoted. The other customers I talked to all said the same thing. One person was quoted a hour and a half to get brakes done and they were there for almost four hours. I brought my car in for a nail in my tire that needed repair. They said I needed 4 new high performance tires. That Fresno Infinity sold me wrong ones. I also needed shocks & struts 2. They wanted 2 do 2500.00 in repairs. I called infinity 2 c if that was right. I have my oil changed by them regularly. They said that was absolute BS in a nicer way. I just had car in& all was fine. I took my car back 2 infinity for them 2make sure. Miraculously the nail was gone & all was well. I still haven't needed these repairs. After talking with a manager who didn't seem 2 care I went 2 District Manager. I was told I could get 2 free tires when I needed them. I called yesterday 2 make appt & now I can't seem to find anyone that will honor this or even call me back. Thanks American Tire Depot. I will not ever be back!!!! read more

Horrible service first they lied to me said Fresno store had tire in stock. I take my car on a flat they don't have it. I then had to travel another 15miles to there Clovis store. They charged me 70 dollars to put 2 tires on crazy crazy. So if you figure the tire is 20 dollars cheaper here goto the place you originally spoke to. Cause they will charge you anywhere for 70 dollars to 120 dollars just to put tires on your car. I was completely disgusted with this company lack of communication and poor quality of service remember if it's anywhere from 40-20 dollars cheaper here don't go not worth the drive an the lying. They might not even have your tire I called to confirm an they said they had it but of course they didn't beware read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I took my Jeep in to have the brakes looked at and they made a list of problems with my car. They said my rotors, drums, & brakes all needed to be changed out. They quoted my father in law 250 for all the brakes themselves. Then after they came up with the above conclusions on my vehicle they called my spouse to give him an estimate which resulted in over a thousand dollars. My spouse said no and told me to take it to his friend who is a certified mechanic so I did. He checked EVERYTHING & said the only thing was my rear brake pads could be changed but that EVERYTHING else was fine. It's sad how they would try to rip someone off. These guys at the Clovis store are the greatest! Another wheel shop jacked up my wheels and the guys here worked on my wheels until they were able to fix them. Long story short, it should not take 2 hours to change a set of tires. I called Raul to get the tires in the store by 3pm, he said it should only take 35-40 min. I showed up at 3:40 and the tires still were not there. Two hours later I'm still waiting. It's not that busy! I would have had someone get me if I had known it would be this long. read more

Store opens at 9 waited until 9:15 and found out the manager forgot his keys and it was going to be another 45 minute wait . This other guy said he was going to change his tires and shocks that we're going to give them 1800$ plus my 500$ they missed out at 2300 in matter of seconds because they are incompetent. read more

I waited almost 30 min. to be helped. The new tires that were installed were not even the tires I told him I wanted in the first place.
