My son, a college student, mistakenly confused this shop with America's Tire--a reputable business here in the Bay Area. He brought his car in to repair a slow leak on a set of tires that still had plenty of healthy tread left. However, the shop refused to patch the leak, claiming the tires had to be completely replaced because they were over five years old. He agreed to the replacement, but as soon as he drove off the lot, the car pulled hard to the right whenever he let go of the steering wheel. When he returned to have them fix the severe pulling issue, they were unable to correct it and claimed the alignment must have already been bad when he arrived--which was completely untrue. Desperate for a fix, he took the car to a different tire shop. The technicians there immediately identified the issue: the first shop had installed low-quality, off-brand tires that they wouldn't recommend to anyone. To help my son out, the second shop rotated those new tires to the rear at no charge, which immediately resolved the pull and proved the issue was caused by the cheap tires all along. The original shop charged a premium price for low-grade tires and refused to take any responsibility or offer a solution when their product created a safety issue. Took my car in for an ac check ... it's been 24hrs and still nothing at all about my car... twhen I took it in they asked I leave it over night and I figured they are very busy so I'll take a chance and maybe 1st thing in the morning after the AC service check they will let me know...... but it's now mid day and still nothing when I have called to ask the status they let me know "they are working on it right now" ...... and they are now about to close since they informed me they close @6pm .. after I had a morning appointment... so maybe tomorrow it will get worked on or picked up read more

I asked that the air pressure be checked in my new tires on my car because I was told at another service place I would probably need a new tire. All I needed was air in my tires. On 8/31/26, I called American Tire Depot and asked for a quote for a drain and pour for one of our vehicles. They quoted $197, which is better than the $400 Toyota of San Bernardino said it would cost. I made an appointment and went down the following Saturday. Once I got there, the guy said his partner had made a mistake and the actual price was $409. I told him I felt it was a bait-and-switch and asked for my keys back, which he gave me. I then went to Toyota Redlands and was charged $230 for the same service; American Tire Depot wanted to charge $ 409. Will not be taking any of my vehicles to the shop in the foreseeable future because they don't stand behind their word. read more

So sorry to have to change my 5 star review. I sent my parents over to this shop when they needed 4 new tires on their tacoma. They ended up having a very dangerous tire failure on the freeway and it was later discovered that it was improperly installed. They went back and were CHARGED to have the under warranty tire replaced. It was agreed with the manager that it was a failure on the install. They were not given their money back and received a shrug. I only write this review to possibly get the attention of ownership since this was such a dangerous situation. read more

I really like this place, employees are really kind and not pushy about anything. it was a great experience and I would recommend for sure.

I had one of the worst experiences at this tire shop. I came in to get a new set of tires. The employee at the front desk looked up my tires, showed me the price, and confirmed they were in stock. He told me it would take about 40 minutes, so I agreed and waited. After two hours, I noticed my car was still sitting outside. The only thing they had done was lift it onto the rack. I went back to ask what was going on, and that's when I was told they actually didn't have the tires in stock. The employee blamed it on the manager, saying the inventory wasn't updated correctly. They wasted over two hours of my time because no one bothered to verify the tires were available before having me wait. A simple check could have saved everyone the trouble. Very unprofessional service. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Got a nail in a new tire. Went to Romona's tires and was told they couldn't repair it but I needed to replace it. Tire has less than 2k miles and nail was in the tread. Went to American. They removed the nail and noticed one of my tire sensors was faulty. Got the nail and sensor fixed in the same day! read more

I've been having issues with one of my tires since the day after my mom died (coincidence? Or my mom playing a very obnoxious prank?). My tire pressure light would come on, I would add air, then it would come on again. I went to a place near me and they tightened the valves but couldn't find any other issues. It was fine again for a week but then the light came back on AGAIN. I went to American Tire Depot on Colton and someone filled my tires and everything was good for a week! But yesterday, the light came on AGAIN. I stopped at the Colton location and a very nice employee filled my tires so I'd be good for the day but suggested I get my tires checked more thoroughly when I could. I made an appointment online for the Redlands Blvd location and came in today. 45 minutes after arriving, they found whatever was wrong with my tire and fixed it. FOR FREE. I don't know why they're willing to do that labor for free but I do know I will be buying future tires from this place if I happen to need them when I'm down in Redlands. The employee at the counter was so incredibly helpful and friendly and was so kind to everyone who came in and all of the callers on the phone. He genuinely seems like such a nice guy, it was very refreshing since a lot of times the employees at places like this are more matter of fact (which is totally fine and understandable).
