Took my car in for an ac check ... it's been 24hrs and still nothing at all about my car... twhen I took it in they asked I leave it over night and I figured they are very busy so I'll take a chance and maybe 1st thing in the morning after the AC service check they will let me know...... but it's now mid day and still nothing when I have called to ask the status they let me know "they are working on it right now" ...... and they are now about to close since they informed me they close @6pm .. after I had a morning appointment... so maybe tomorrow it will get worked on or picked up read more

I had an appointment for tire rotation. The online system mentioned to bring the car in by 2 pm. I brought the car in around 12 pm and they appeared busy. Although I'm initially hesitant, I was able to leave my car there and pick up by closing. They were able to get it done despite a busy day. read more

I had one of the worst experiences at this tire shop. I came in to get a new set of tires. The employee at the front desk looked up my tires, showed me the price, and confirmed they were in stock. He told me it would take about 40 minutes, so I agreed and waited. After two hours, I noticed my car was still sitting outside. The only thing they had done was lift it onto the rack. I went back to ask what was going on, and that's when I was told they actually didn't have the tires in stock. The employee blamed it on the manager, saying the inventory wasn't updated correctly. They wasted over two hours of my time because no one bothered to verify the tires were available before having me wait. A simple check could have saved everyone the trouble. Very unprofessional service. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I also spoke to the tire technician and he was very helpful also in giving me information on my tires. So sorry to have to change my 5 star review. I sent my parents over to this shop when they needed 4 new tires on their tacoma. They ended up having a very dangerous tire failure on the freeway and it was later discovered that it was improperly installed. They went back and were CHARGED to have the under warranty tire replaced. It was agreed with the manager that it was a failure on the install. They were not given their money back and received a shrug. I only write this review to possibly get the attention of ownership since this was such a dangerous situation. read more

Got a nail in a new tire. Went to Romona's tires and was told they couldn't repair it but I needed to replace it. Tire has less than 2k miles and nail was in the tread. Went to American. I've been having issues with one of my tires since the day after my mom died (coincidence? Or my mom playing a very obnoxious prank?). My tire pressure light would come on, I would add air, then it would come on again. I went to a place near me and they tightened the valves but couldn't find any other issues. It was fine again for a week but then the light came back on AGAIN. I went to American Tire Depot on Colton and someone filled my tires and everything was good for a week! But yesterday, the light came on AGAIN. I stopped at the Colton location and a very nice employee filled my tires so I'd be good for the day but suggested I get my tires checked more thoroughly when I could. I made an appointment online for the Redlands Blvd location and came in today. 45 minutes after arriving, they found whatever was wrong with my tire and fixed it. FOR FREE. I don't know why they're willing to do that labor for free but I do know I will be buying future tires from this place if I happen to need them when I'm down in Redlands. The employee at the counter was so incredibly helpful and friendly and was so kind to everyone who came in and all of the callers on the phone. He genuinely seems like such a nice guy, it was very refreshing since a lot of times the employees at places like this are more matter of fact (which is totally fine and understandable). The service technician tightened it and did an inspection, then assured me everything was safe and working properly. Brought my well pampered 2004 Toyota Sequioa with 74,423 miles in the odometer for wheel alignment. I would say that they have done very well for the service I requested. I was upset when John reported to me that my check engine light suddenly came on. I made John aware that I'm very familiar with my car and have good understanding of mechanical and electronic issues. Lorenzo, the technician told me that it was lost of communication while engine was left on neutral when he started it. I asked Lorenzo for the P code but he did not take a picture of it but unnecessarily reset the code. Codes doesn't need reset if there is no problem exist in the car. John gave me unwelcomed discount which I think it was for the inconvenience. This is a second time that I have had this similar experience with local shops and it's sad that it ruins peoples trust in the process and could cost a lot of unexpected expenses for the ones that has no knowledge of cars. read more
