So sorry to have to change my 5 star review. I sent my parents over to this shop when they needed 4 new tires on their tacoma. They ended up having a very dangerous tire failure on the freeway and it was later discovered that it was improperly installed. They went back and were CHARGED to have the under warranty tire replaced. It was agreed with the manager that it was a failure on the install. They were not given their money back and received a shrug. I only write this review to possibly get the attention of ownership since this was such a dangerous situation. read more

Wonderful and friendly service. Very quick. Able to come in on a weekday afternoon for a tire alignment, after feeling the car pull to one side after a few days. Called in the morning and was able to get an appt that same afternoon. Reasonable price of about 110 for the alignment. I've been having issues with one of my tires since the day after my mom died (coincidence? Or my mom playing a very obnoxious prank?). My tire pressure light would come on, I would add air, then it would come on again. I went to a place near me and they tightened the valves but couldn't find any other issues. It was fine again for a week but then the light came back on AGAIN. I went to American Tire Depot on Colton and someone filled my tires and everything was good for a week! But yesterday, the light came on AGAIN. I stopped at the Colton location and a very nice employee filled my tires so I'd be good for the day but suggested I get my tires checked more thoroughly when I could. I made an appointment online for the Redlands Blvd location and came in today. 45 minutes after arriving, they found whatever was wrong with my tire and fixed it. FOR FREE. I don't know why they're willing to do that labor for free but I do know I will be buying future tires from this place if I happen to need them when I'm down in Redlands. The employee at the counter was so incredibly helpful and friendly and was so kind to everyone who came in and all of the callers on the phone. He genuinely seems like such a nice guy, it was very refreshing since a lot of times the employees at places like this are more matter of fact (which is totally fine and understandable). John and the service crew took great care of me when I stopped in because of a brake noise. It turned out to be a loose bolt. The service technician tightened it and did an inspection, then assured me everything was safe and working properly. Brought my well pampered 2004 Toyota Sequioa with 74,423 miles in the odometer for wheel alignment. I would say that they have done very well for the service I requested. I was upset when John reported to me that my check engine light suddenly came on. I made John aware that I'm very familiar with my car and have good understanding of mechanical and electronic issues. Lorenzo, the technician told me that it was lost of communication while engine was left on neutral when he started it. I asked Lorenzo for the P code but he did not take a picture of it but unnecessarily reset the code. Codes doesn't need reset if there is no problem exist in the car. John gave me unwelcomed discount which I think it was for the inconvenience. This is a second time that I have had this similar experience with local shops and it's sad that it ruins peoples trust in the process and could cost a lot of unexpected expenses for the ones that has no knowledge of cars. read more

American Tire Depot advertises free tire service on their website, copypasted quote: "We also have a list of FREE Services, FREE Alignment Checks, FREE Flat Repairs, FREE Tire Rotations, and FREE Inspections and FREE Estimates of your vehicle's needs. We sell and stock what we advertise. No "bait and switch" tactics." I replaced 4 tires at their Redlands blvd store 6 weeks ago. I got a flat tire this morning, I called them and they confirmed that tire service is free. When I came to the store the guy who later resisted to give his name and started ridiculously hiding his face, told me that they cannot patch since the nail is on the side so I should buy a new tire. I checked with other guy and he also suggested buying a new tire. THIS is what you call No "bait and switch" tactics? I will make sure to escalate as much as I can - BBB, small claims Socal, whenever I can reach to punish those liers. I went to a local tire service and they fixed it within a minute for 15 bucks. read more

This was my first time trying this place, and wow--I'm so glad I did! It's super close to my work, and I had a $30 oil change coupon I bought a few weeks ago, so I decided to finally check them out. Everyone I talked to was incredibly pleasant and genuinely helpful. The services took a couple of hours, but it wasn't a problem at all since my job is only a five-minute walk away--I just walked back and forth. I got an oil change and a transmission service, and the prices were amazingly affordable, especially during times like these. Use to be my go to tire and maintenance shop, had a terrible experience one weekend and I will never return. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars here, not any more. There were different service people at the front desk, went in for an alignment and they stated they couldn't do it based on the conditions of my tires, they were splitting apart and stated they have been over inflated, which is odd, they set the pressure every time I went in for rotations, the dude was rude and offered no help.
