We live on a busy street. We called AVW first. We wanted to get 3 quotes. The response time was within 20m. Plus, the contacted me the way I requested, by text. Dave came out in his "retirement tour" and the fact that I knew nothing about windows except that noise reduction was a top priority I relied on his several years of expertise. He was knowledgeable, professional, and funny too. When he explained about type of windows he recommends for our needs and especially that they MAKE THEIR OWN WINDOWS, AANNDD the amazing warranty I knew I didn't have to call anyone else! Last topic, price. We negotiated a great price and the deal was done! Arturo came out to measure a few wks l8r. He was very knowledgeable. Afterward, I recieved a call to schedule the work. On the day of. Jr. came to the door on time. We were introduced to the team, Isidorio, Carlos, and Tony. We made sure to have at least 3 ft of clearance on either side of the windows. They got to work right away in a streamlined fashion. We replaced 4 windows (2 bdrm, 2 bth.) Our windows were Value windows replaced with Anlin dual pane windows with sound reduction, keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter due to the amazing n tight seal, clear looking out and dark looking in. The sound gets trapped between the 2 glasses. I was so relieved in the sound reduction! I would say about 70% which is more than what Dave mention. Love when businesses under promise and over deliver! I'm so looking forward to a full night's rest, finally! They did such an efficient job! I was astonished! The whole job was done in about 6hrs. On Tuesday, August 6, 2025, John from American Vision Windows came by to inspect the interior trim work on the bay window in my kitchen/family room. I explained my concern about a 45-degree notch in the trim, which was part of the window's curvature. This notch prevented the proper, flush installation of my window treatment. John listened carefully and assured me he would arrange for the installers to come back and make the necessary adjustments. I let him know that the following Tuesday would work for me, and he later confirmed that Javier and another team member would return to address the issue. On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Javier and Umberto arrived as scheduled and re-trimmed the interior of the bay window. They removed the 45-degree notch and adjusted the trim to create a smooth, flush surface, allowing my window treatment to fit correctly. Great professionalism and strong expertise! We needed to replace a garden window and two single pane windows recently, and we were very happy with the services provided by American Vision Windows. We initially called several contractors in last October for bids. Tim Hess from American Vision Windows came out right away and walked us through various window options and the scope of the project. Tim was punctual and very knowledgeable about the products and installation process. He acknowledged that his quote would not be cheapest, but assured me that the services/products would come with extensive warranties. After receiving several other bids, we decided to go with American Vision Windows despite their bids being slightly more expensive (a few hundred dollars). American Vision Windows was the only company that could finish the project within a day and sounded confident with the tricky installation of a garden window that included some stucco work. We were happy to pay more for quality work. We got our windows at the end of March. The installation crew arrived on time, and the work was completed within 6 hours. The crew was very considerate, and covered the surrounding work area very well with tarps and plastics. We were happy to see the crew performed our project in such caring manner. As for the cost, our quote from American Vision Windows was competitive to others we received. They took 50% deposit at the time of window measurement, and the rest at the end of installation. From having Gina out to my house for a quote to getting my new window installed by Eddie and Wilton, my whole experience with American Vision Windows has been excellent. I was referred by friends who had redone all of their windows and were super happy with the work and could vouch for the quality of the install after heavy rains. Every step of the process with everyone at the company was so prompt and efficient. They showed up for every appointment on time and answered all my emails within hours, if not minutes. The price was less than Home Depot quoted me over 10 years ago, and I would be getting a much better window with a double lifetime warranty on parts and labor. Gina has a wealth of window knowledge and was willing to measure and quote some additional windows I probably wasn't ready to do yet but wanted to be able to plan for. She also suggested how I could make my existing windows more attractive in a way that would give business to another company but be more within my budget. It builds trust when salespeople are honest with you. She also patiently, even enthusiastically, answered my many questions. The projected time to manufacture my window was 6-8 weeks and it was ready on schedule. The day of the install, Eddie and Wilton were on time and got right to work. They were careful to protect my floors and cleaned up thoroughly. They worked around the tree right outside my window and did not break any branches. The retrofit install did not damage the outside of the house at all. The caulking and trim around the window are flawless. It slides open and closed smoothly and latches perfectly. The window is sturdy and instantly decreased the outside noise. They installers were also fast without cutting any corners. I know this because I observed the entire process. Eddie let me get up close and see exactly what he was doing at a couple of points in the install process and was happy to explain what he was doing. He showed me how to operate and care for my new window properly so I won't ruin it (I definitely would have without the instructions). After peeling the film off the installed window, Eddie discovered a manufacturing defect (cosmetic). He pointed it out to me, reported it to the company, and said they would be back out to replace that pane in a couple of weeks (it has to be re-ordered). Some companies would just hope you didn't notice. Also worth noting: The day my window was installed was very windy and my back gate blew off the hinges mid-job. While it wasn't their fault and they could have just left it, Eddie stopped everything to show me what happened, figure out how to triage it, then got some long screws and his drill out of his truck and fixed it immediately. I really appreciate that because having a new window but a busted gate would be a real bummer. I normally get quotes from at least three contractors before hiring anyone to do anything on my home. This is the first time I decided not to bother, and I'm glad I saved my time. I love this company and my window. read more

We've needed to replace a fogged front of house window since we moved in 13 years ago. We finally decided to pull the plug and do it along with a total of 6 windows this summer but didn't know where to turn. We've discovered many of the 5-star home improvement company reviews online send out people with limited English, knowledge and skills. That's a problem when you have a stranger in your home and you feel like you have to verbally commit at that point. That's when having a long L.A. commute and listening to the Tim Conway Junior radio show on KFI came in handy because American Vision Windows radio ads run frequently on this station. The TCJ radio crew says they're pleased with their windows from American Vision so whether a paid endorsement or not, it seemed good enough. We called them up and Don came out to look into our needs. He looked into our windows (or technically through our windows) and made a recommendation for some new glass improvements. With an initial quote, Christian came out to measure the windows and then we were ready to go with our custom windows. He walked us through the process and gave us a lay of the land. The custom windows took a few months to build at their facilities but we were patient knowing the bliss we would have from new custom glass frames adorning our home. We had AVW install windows for: 2 living room, one translucent small bathroom, a bedroom and two kitchen. The crew of Jose V., Felipe and David installed the new windows within a few hours so we could get on with our lives. Super easy. The new windows are sturdy and clear. They're supposed to keep air conditioning trapped inside on warm days and heat inside on cold days. We think our occasionally noisy neighbors aren't disturbing us as often. To be clear, this company was transparent throughout the entire process from initial meeting to installation and we were glad to give them our business. Puns intended. Some people think radio advertising is a waste of money for businesses but it worked for our needs. What's good for the goose is good for the gander and the home.
