What a great experience. It always is a difficult experience for us doing home improvements. This company made it easy. The ordering process went smoothly, and everthing was explained. We were given a approximate delivery date. That date was kept, the products arriving EARLY. We were given an appointment for installation, with a start time. The tech's were EARLY! Martin, Caleb and Raul explained things to us and went to work. What a great team they were! It was over 100 degrees outside, but they moved along unfazed. We chose American Vision Windows ("AVW") in Simi Valley to replace our 4 patio slider windows and 5 fixed windows. It was the best decision we made. We do not have anything negative to say about the other companies we had bid on the job. Our choice was based on AVW professionalism, instant follow ups on any of our questions, explaining how the long and process for the installation and keeping us updated on the entire process more than on price alone. From the start, Gonzo the sales person was very attentive to our needs, and helped us with making the correct decision regarding those needs. He followed up quickly on any calls we made to him before contracting with AVW, during the waiting period, and follow up after the installation was completed to be sure we were satisfied with the install, and to let us know to call him if any questions, concerns or issues may arise. That's top-notch customer service. The install went so smoothly that it was almost was no inconvenience at all. Of course, having every door and window opened at the same time made it cold, but that went with the project. The Simi Valley crew who did the install were super. The crew showed up on time. Martin, the supervisor met with me before the beginning of the install, and explained exactly how the install would go. He also addressed and concerns I had, and as it turned out we were on the same page. I left having full confidence that all would go well. It did. The crew first laid construction paper to protect all the floors, then put plastic over all the furniture and fixtures close to the working areas. We had AVW replace all our windows 3 years ago, It changed our house as we are now isolated from outside noises and most important, the house stays cool in the summer. Some weeks ago we noticed that the panel on one of the windows was off the track. I called customer service and talked to Raymond. Shortly after Sergio and Antonio came to our house and worked on the window. It is now working perfectly and everything was done under warranty. Except for it taking a while to get the doors, which is par for the pandemic, this was a wonderful experience. The doors are beautiful, and they actually slide, unlike my old ones. The installers were professional, clean, courteous and knowledgeable. Roberto and his crew, Jose G and Miguel R. made sure everything was perfect which included adjusting so that I could still open my shutters. They went over all the instructions for locking the screen and the door. It looks so much better, I don't know why I waited so long!. If you're looking for windows, American Vision is quality and stands behind their product. The customer service I received from this company is unexplainable and is well worth doing business with. I am a window cleaner, I recently had an elderly client that had broken seals on one of her windows. (fogging/discoloration between glass) this happens due to window age or constant sun exposure over the years. My client was frustrated and didn't know how to go about getting it replaced. I reached out to American Vision on her behalf trying to take the stress off our mutual client. I'm so glad I did. I spoke with Raymond Karapetian (via email). This guy not only responded fast but you can tell he genuinely cares about the customers being happy. Right away he reached out to our client and scheduled a date and time for replacement. Two reviews First, we ordered an entry door and large patio door back in May (email shows May 03,2018). We were advise that it'll take about 4 to six weeks. On June 13, 2018 the installation of the patio took place. As for the entry door nothing. I did contact the sales rep Gonzo (really good guy) and Jen via email. Gonzo forward an email they received from the company (sub company) that American Vision Windows order there product, which stated that they are waiting on glass (3 small pieces) and possibility that it'll be ready on June 26, 2018... way pass the six weeks. Maybe I'll get a discount? Or maybe cancel the order since it's taken long? .... update will follow. Second review is for the patio installers Gabriel and Joshua (5 stars). Not much I can say but there work speaks a lot. They showed up as stated between 0800-0900. Professionals, prepare there work area, got to work, took there time and cleaned up after they were done. They really showed quality work. Can't thank them enough. I'm hoping to have them to return and install my entry door. Before writing this review I notice that America Vision Window in orange has a slight better review wonder why....hmm Update July 21, 2018 I apologies for the late entry but my project (stucco) has been completed. So what does this has to do with American Vision Windows you might ask? Well the front entry door finally got installed on July 03, 2018. So because of American Vision Window taking to long, my stucco contractor had to move on to another job and I had to wait for his availability. In conclusion, if anyone is looking to purchase windows and doors, I would recommend stopping by Loews or Home Depot. There turn around is 4-6 weeks, installation and delivery can be arranged. We ordered windows from Loews and were delivered within 6 weeks as promise and didn't slow my project. One thing we learned by using American Vision Window was that because of there door vendor delay, as a customer your going to be dragged along and no accommodation for your inconvenience is consider. So base on our experience I would not consider American Windows for my other properties nor friends and family.... sorry read more
