He was the Only contractor who didn't try to upsell me into buying an entirety different flooring for the entire room. That is why there are 4 stars rather than fewer because of the bad below. Communication was great in the beginning. Bad: some hidden tile sections weren't finished. He came back right away to fix them. However, one that was noticed after he came out once to fix it wasn't fixed. They didn't put the toilet on correctly and we had to fix that ourselves. He stopped responding.

Because the tiles were a non-standard size (18.5" x 18.5"), finding a ready-made replacement in stores was impossible. Even worse, none of the hardware stores (Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.) were willing to cut a larger tile for us. We found Jose on Yelp, saw his amazing reviews, and reached out. It was the best decision we could have made! Jose responded to our inquiry right away and was ready to help us out, suggesting we pick out a tile from Floor & Decor for him and his team to cut. Then, to our complete surprise, he and his team member Jonathan offered to drive out to our place to handle the cut and installation themselves. The cherry on top was that they refused to charge us for it, insisting it was just a minor job and they were happy to help. Not only were they very generous, but they were also didn't rush the job at all. They took their time, patiently measured the tile, and executed precise cuts to ensure a perfect fit.
