I've been to this place a few times and it has never disappointed! Everything is high quality and they don't skimp on quantity either. The servers are always so friendly. This might actually be my favorite breakfast spot in Santa Rosa

Meet the Makers event: Land and Water Coffee & Americana Brunch Pairing. Amazing food arrived during!

One of my favorite spots in Santa Rosa . Been here quite a few times and haven't made a review yet. Here's one for my own record of great places. When I'm thinking breakfast or brunch - this is one of the first on the list that enters my mind . . And something to recommend. Coffee first - land and water . If you haven't tried them - here's your shot to upgrade yourself. A favorite in my coffee world. Flavor in coffee that you need to remember. Potato's at this place - fried in beef tallow . . Game changer, if you don't know . It's crispy, fluffy, and addicting . Great with their homemade hot sauce that's on the table. Service is so great every time I go . The Staff must know they are in a great place, and they're confident in what they serve. The quality of it all speaks volumes. Delicious food and an amazing atmosphere. A gem of Santa Rosa for sure in my book . Love it every time I go!

Our brunch started off rough. The staff seemed discombobulated, but things seemed to work themselves out. The food was good, but was a bit bland. Their homemade hot sauce was very good! Our server was very attentive and kind. The restaurant is quite loud.

Cute cozy restaurant in Downtown Santa Rosa, came to the area to visit museums and grab a bite to eat before our adventure. Place was crowded when we arrived but we made a reservation with Open Table and got seated at our time. Everything is farm to table and you could tell. It was fresh and colorful didn't feel sleepy after eating. We went during brunch hours and tried the breakfast options. Enjoyed the service and the meals.

Good brunch spot in Santa Rosa. We were staying at the hotel nearby and looking for a quick breakfast before leaving for some wine tasting. We were lucky to be the first ones seated. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and my dining mate ordered the Santa Rosa omelette. They came out relatively quick and we were able to order, eat and pay within about 45 minutes. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good, the gravy was nice and thick and flavorful with a good amount of sausage pieces in it. The biscuits were solid but not too dense. Went well mixing it together with the over medium egg I got. The omelette was alright. It was a good size, a bit more than what my dining mate needed and we took a little under half with us to go. Good amount of filling that went well together. The breakfast while more expensive than the buffet at the hotel was so much better than how the hotel one looked.

A great, rustic American diner feel! You get the feeling of comfort without all the grease! Wonderful farm-to-table selections. Love how the menu describes every ingredient and where it comes from. (ie. not just "lettuce" but "Singing Frog Farms lettuce") Service was excellent from start to finish - with a smile, refilling your water or coffee, checking up on you from time to time. We ordered: Cream of Mushroom Soup: Fabulous, hearty and full of funghi flavor! I ate up my entire bowl so fast, it never had a chance to cool. Biscuits and Gravy: delicious plate of comfort food with the eggs cooked just exactly how it was requested, sunny side. Chicken Fried Chicken: When they say juicy and buttermilk, you have to have it! The chicken was juicy in the inside and the outside was crispy good! We ordered the gravy on the side and that made for a perfect dipping sauce. Let's talk about that fantastic gravy though! With the bits of sausage for flavor. Yum! Huevos Rancheros: so delicious with its homemade tortilla and the wonderful black beans. Eggs were also cooked exactly how they were ordered, medium. Freshly squeezed orange juice was served so beautifully in a jar glass and the orange slices. The strawberry mimosa, although very good, could have been served and prepped in a prettier way. Overall, I'd definitely return.

California Eggs Benedict and "Deal of the Week" pancake

Came here for the first time and loved it! We got the California eggs benedict with hash browns and the "Deal of the Week" which was a single pancake (+all the toppings) and choice of meat. The cider maple syrup and fresh whipped cream were delicious. Reasonable prices for the area and service was attentive. The restaurant was so warm and sunny for a morning brunch, would go back again!

This place was a bit pricey, but the food was really good. I got the chilaquiles and the rest of the table got the veggie breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy. The food was all very very tasty. The service was good and the ambiance was also pleasant. Great place to grab a brunch and would come back again.

Eggs over medium, hash browns, home fries, sausage, gluten free toast, salad/garnish.

What a delightful lunch! I had a BLTA on gluten free bread with fries, and my friend had a half a sandwich with salad lunch special. I brought my little white Maltese service dog and he sat on the chair next to me. The service was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and they even brought my dog's food in a dog bowl. I'm sorry I did not take pics, but trust me, everything was excellent.

Went to Americana for my birthday brunch and was very excited for this experience. I had called numerous places looking for a bottomless mimosas option with flavors other than orange. When I called they confirmed they offer bottomless and that they have various flavor options and with the bottomless option you can switch between flavors. My family and I went on my birthday (a Saturday) and three of us ordered bottomless mimosas with our meals (two people didn't order any mimosas and did not drink any). When we ordered, we were not informed of any sort of limit (quantity or time limit). The flavors were delicious so I did appreciate that and the food was also very tasty. I appreciate the farm to table aspect and that they had gluten free options as my dad is celiac. He really enjoyed his waffle! My biggest disappointment is that when I was almost finished with my meal I ordered another mimosa to drink as we finished up and paid the bill and I was informed they normally only allow 4-5 mimosas. That would be perfectly fine if they didn't call it "bottomless." Our party was not loud or obnoxious, they just have a limit to the number of mimosas they allow. We were also waited on by three different people. The service was okay overall but when Amera was helping us out, the service was definitely better. I'd go here again for breakfast but definitely wouldn't order the bottomless mimosas or choose to celebrate my birthday here again.

The taste is fine, but I was not "wowed" for the price point. My friend and I ordered 2 breakfast items mine was the combo breakfast ( one egg, one small chicken sausage & waffle with fruit) for $23.50 and hers was the Santa Rosa omelette which was 25.50 , the server asked her if she wanted toast or a biscuit and she elected to have a biscuit which was an addition $3. The food was fine but we each had black coffee and paid $67 before a tip. The service was great but be prepared to pay for the "farm to table" ingredients.

This is my 3rd visit and it keeps getting better with each visit. Great ambiance with lots of beautiful tropical plants, good service and great food. The patty melt was excellent as was the grilled chicken sandwich.

    Chilaquiles
    Paige L.

This place is extremely overpriced. We got the chilaquiles and they were not good. Didn't have any flavor at all which was so disappointing. Apparently they offered green sauce and we tried it and it was SO much better! We also got the gluten free waffle and WOW! Seriously one of the best waffles I've ever had and made up for the chilaquiles being so underwhelming. The service was just okay....all of our food came out at different times. From the time we got our first plate of food to our last plate was a 20 minute difference! Not cool or acceptable. Overall, this place is in a good location in a cute building but their food is just extremely mid. Everyone else also just thought their food was okay as well. Maybe they just had an off day but just kind of disappointing.

Our server was incredibly friendly, and the entire room shared the same warm, easygoing vibe. The small, speakeasy themed space was already packed at 5 PM, so reservations seem like a must. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and delicious, but the standout dishes were the beet salad and the shrimp & grits. The beet salad had a perfect mix of textures; chopped pistachios, tender beets, and crunchy radishes over a pillowy ricotta. I finished the salad wishing there was more. The shrimp & grits featured a potlikker sauce that absolutely lived up to the hype; it made the dish. I wish the shrimp & grits were served in a bowl rather than a shallow dish. I found myself chasing the sauce and polenta around the plate, trying not to push it over the edge. That said, if it were in a bowl, I might have just drank the sauce, so perhaps this is the restaurant's way of preserving a bit of dignity for its guests. Next time, I'm hoping to visit when oyster po' boys and fried green tomatoes are on the menu.

We hit happy hour, and wow--it's a good one. Tons of interesting bites and a solid drink lineup. I went with a whiskey sour, my friend had the ginger beer on draft (very refreshing), and we shared the prawns, Brussels sprouts, and creamy mac & cheese. Everything was seriously delicious. Shoutout to our server, Melanie--friendly, attentive, and totally on it, even with the place packed. A couple things to note: it does get loud, so maybe not your spot if you're after a quiet, intimate dinner. Also, the happy hour menu listed Brussels sprouts but didn't mention bacon--I'm vegetarian, so that was a bit of a surprise. (It is noted on the regular dinner menu, which I admittedly didn't check.) All in all, such a fun, lively spot. I'll definitely be back for more bites and cocktails.

The original brew master became the co-owner when the winery left the beer business in 2003. It was then moved this location in 2004, opening as a brewpub. It's been on my list of places to visit for a while, so my wife, her mom, and I took the opportunity to stop in for a Thursday night dinner on our way to San Francisco from Fort Bragg. The inaugural double IPA (aka Imperial IPA) was made by the current co-owner at a different brewery in 1994. Double means it uses double the hops and malts, and the ABV is quite a bit higher. He then created Pliny the Elder (ABV 8.0%) in 2000, recognized as the most famous DIPA. The track continued, with Pliny the Younger in 2005, a triple IPA (using triple the hops and malts with ABV of 10.25%). This version is available once a year in the spring, since it costs so much money and time to make. With so much malt being used, a large amount of time (and hops) is needed to balance. I've had Pliny the Elder in bottles before, and really liked it: I don't like the hoppy 'piney' taste in my beers, but also recognize that not enough will make the beer too sweet (which I've been facing with a lot my island beers lately). Parking is street only, but there was a lot of it, with the metered parking only requiring payment till 6 pm. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated at a table near the bar. As expected, it was quite loud, with after work folks having a good time. We got menus, ordered our food, and then decided what to do about flights. The brewery is also known for their Belgian style and thus offers two different flights. It was my first time, and didn't know how much my wife could help, so decided to order the California Sampler (a selection of 12 different West Coast 5 oz. pours of ales and lagers for $15.45) to start: O.V.L. Stout (Old Vic Loyals) - Irish nitro stout - really beginning to love stouts, and this one was good. Velvet Glow - lager - solid. Ending up buying 6 pack to bring home ($12.99) STS Pils - pilsner. Bought a 6-pack for $12.99. Russian River Porter - Blind Pig IPA - West Coast IPA Happy Hops - Juicy IPA Mosaic Stack - West Coast IPA SimCoe 25 - West Coast IPA Citra Flash Mob - West Coast IPA Mind Circus - Hazy IPA DDH Pliny the Elder - really good. bought two cans at $5.99 each. Pliny the Elder - the original Felt pretty good, so decided to order the Belgian Sampler (9 different for $13.63), Surprisingly, I didn't like it nearly as much (my favorite fruit beer during this trip was the Howzit Punch beer). Petite Robert - table beer Little White Lie - Belgian White Robert - saison Perdition - biere de sonoma Damnation - golden strong ale Mortification - quad Supplication - sour brown ale Intinction - barrel aged pilsner Consecration - sour dark ale In terms of the food, it was solid. The 8 pc chicken wings ($17) were good, and the cheesy garlic bread ($10) was filling. I had the meatball sandwich ($16) and upgraded the fries to a spinach salad (+$4): it was tasty, loved the toasted French bread and marinara sauce, with the meatballs being OK (tasted from frozen)...loved the spinach salad with strawberries and blue cheese. We finished off our meal with a Vinnies (co-owner) sundae: good vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a lot of almond slivers. Payment was at the table, and me being again very pleasantly surprised at how little the flights were (a typical brewpub where they charge $3-$4 per 5 oz, would have cost 4 times as much...though of course I wouldn't have drunk as much either).

We ordered two salads, one large pizza and their pizza bites. The spinach salad was very good with…read morestrawberries, goat cheese, and some nuts. The green salad had a good variety of vegetables also. We got the jalapeño cheese pizza bites, which was good and the large pizza I don't recall what the name of it was, but it was also fairly good The service was a little bit slow. They were quite busy, but it took us over an hour and a half to get our table. While we were waiting my friend and I had to flag down the staff so that we could get a beer while we waited. The room was quite noisy, but the table was comfortable

Just so that you know, I consider myself to be a club sandwich connoisseur and wanted to confirm of Ozzie's could enter my golden circle of club sandwiches. First - the service. Super friendly people who have no problem with accommodating special requests. For example I asked if they could add a slice of cheese and was asked "Swiss, Cheddar, American"? . That's music to my ears! Second- the ingredients. I love that they feature locally sourced bread products. Mine was prepared with Franco-American sourdough. And it's always fantastic! Third- Unlike a lot of club sandwiches, you don't have to decide between turkey or ham, they include both! And if you aren't a fan of either, they do offer a chicken club option. The final verdict! Five star awesome! The sandwich was perfectly stacked with tons of meat products. And extra credit for the extra large slice of cheddar cheese which covered the entire sandwich. And a huge shoutout to the crinkle fries (included with your order). I'm a huge crinkle fries fan and these were awesome!
