Disgusting. The room stank like cigarettes and mouse pee, tub & coffee maker was nasty, they didn't wash the towels, and tub wouldn't drain.

Most disgusting hotel I've ever been to in my life. The non-smoking room stank like cigarettes and mouse pee (there was mouse poop behind the bed), I wiped out the tub cause it looked dirty and found glitter all over it, the coffee maker was nasty, they didn't wash the towels so there was lint all over me, and the shower drain wasn't draining. The shuttle also stank like cigarettes and dirty feet and people were in and out doing drugs and some women looked like prostitutes. Trust me...Spend the extra money and stay somewhere safe and clean.

While I understand this isn't a five-star luxury property, exceptional customer service should be the standard in any hospitality setting. We chose this hotel because we were told it had been recently renovated, and its location--just five minutes from our destination--made it an easy choice. Upon arrival, the lobby was completely empty, so check-in should have been a smooth and welcoming experience. We were greeted by Kia. She was polite, but her demeanor lacked the warmth and hospitality I expect from someone who is the first point of contact for guests. I understand everyone has off days, but in the hospitality industry, making guests feel welcome is a fundamental part of the job. The lobby and overall aesthetics were clean and nicely updated, so I have no complaints there. During check-in, we asked if complimentary room upgrades were available. Kia confirmed that the hotel does offer upgrades, but after checking the system, she simply said she couldn't provide one. No explanation was offered. I asked if the hotel was fully booked for the weekend, hoping that would explain it, but instead I was met with a blank stare and no response. We also requested a late checkout, and once again she looked in the system and simply said she couldn't accommodate it. Had she explained that the hotel was at capacity or that there was another reason, we would have completely understood. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and left us feeling like our questions were an inconvenience. Fortunately, our experience later that evening was much different. After returning from being out all day, we asked the night auditor about a late checkout, and she immediately accommodated our request. She was friendly, pleasant, and genuinely eager to help. That interaction demonstrated exactly the kind of hospitality we had hoped to receive from the beginning. As for the room, it was fine. It was clean, which I always appreciate, but the bed wasn't especially comfortable, and the pillows left much to be desired. Since we were only staying one night, it was manageable. Unfortunately, the biggest issue came overnight. We returned to the hotel around 1:30 a.m. and finally settled in around 2:00. At approximately 7:00 a.m., we were jolted awake by the hotel's fire alarm. Anyone who has experienced a hotel fire alarm knows just how loud and startling they are--which, of course, they should be if there's an actual emergency. As it turned out, the alarm had been triggered because someone burned a waffle in the breakfast area. Yes, a burnt waffle. Four fire trucks responded, which at least reassured us that the local fire department responds quickly in the event of a real emergency. After that unexpected wake-up call, all I wanted was a hot cup of regular coffee. Unfortunately, the breakfast area only had decaffeinated coffee available. For a hotel serving breakfast, not having caffeinated coffee was surprising and disappointing. After a night of limited sleep and an early-morning fire alarm, that was the final straw for me. When we checked out, Kia was back at the front desk. She appeared somewhat surprised that we were checking out later than the standard time, but her demeanor remained unchanged. Again, she wasn't rude--just not particularly welcoming or engaging. Overall, this hotel wasn't terrible. It was clean, conveniently located, and appeared to be recently renovated. However, hospitality is about more than updated furnishings. Friendly, attentive, and communicative customer service can make up for many shortcomings, and unfortunately, that was the hotel's biggest weakness during our stay. Thankfully, the excellent service from the night auditor showed that the level of hospitality I was looking for does exist at this property. I only wish that same experience had started the moment we walked through the front door.

I was denied extra pillows despite explaining it was due to a medical need (something I've never been denied at any Hilton property before). The room's AC unit was extremely loud, constantly turning on and off throughout the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. When I called the front desk, I was told they were at capacity and there was no one available to address it. The most concerning issue was the airport shuttle. It was overbooked by the hotel, and I was actually asked to let another guest sit in my lap during transport. That's not just uncomfortable--it's unsafe and completely unacceptable. When I contacted the hotel manager afterward to request a refund under Hampton's satisfaction guarantee, I was dismissed, told to "get over it," and the call was ended. I've stayed at Hampton Inns for years and have always had good experiences, which made this especially disappointing. Issues can happen anywhere, but the lack of resolution and professionalism here was the bigger problem.

I loved that I could slide a barn door to close in the bedroom if needed. My room was close to elevator and the clean supply room so I was a little worried about outside noise. Although I only stayed over on a Monday night even without ever closing the bedroom door it was very quiet. I had a small issue with somehow dropping my phone down into the ice machine (horror) but maintenance was very responsive and quickly got it back for me. Housekeeping was very friendly. Front desk was ok, although I feel like they could have anticipated or understood my question better when I asked about hotel shuttle. They have a sign stating where the shuttle picks up. I asked about it but they just said that it was coreect, so then I made an an attempt to find the location on the sign. When I got back to the elevator and realized it didnt go down or anywhere that might be a level cars would park or etc. I went back and asked where to find the location. They said it was where the shuttle picked up at the airport. Then is said where does it pick up here. They asked when did I need it. I said now. They said ok they would add me to a list. So #1. Why would someone checking out of the hotel need to know where the airport shuttle picks up passengers at the airport. And even if that is useful information, shouldn't it also inform where or what is needed in order to get picked up at hotel. Specifically this would seem important if the check in line was long. #2 He never answered my question about where the shuttle picks up at hotel. Once i realized the shuttle sign was useless, I assumed it picked up outside the doors and it did but this entire exchange made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. Cons: breakfast had no flavor. I'm not expecting a lot from a free breakfast but usually the flavorless eggs have cheese or something you can add to the top to give it a little something. The vanilla pancake topped with whip cream and strawberries was ok but again very little flavor. Plus not something I could eat had I been on a hurry or had an early flight out. Other Hampton breakfasts do a little better job. Maybe Monday's are just not busy enough to warrant more.

There's also plenty nearby for shopping and dining. Just one block away is a strip mall with Burlington, Target, Starbucks, and Whole Foods. A little further up the road you'll find an AMC Theater, ShopRite, Petco, and even more stores and restaurants. David made a very positive impression on us during our stay. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful whenever we needed assistance. I was already a little on edge after sitting on the tarmac at LaGuardia for 8 hours and then driving 12 hours to New Jersey, so his kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. Our room was spectacular! It was very large and equipped with a full kitchen that included a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and large stove. The room also came stocked with plates, utensils, pots, and pans. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. There was a full-sized bathroom with an outside vanity area, two closets, a folded cot, a dining table with chairs, and a comfortable sofa for relaxing and watching television. The complimentary morning breakfast was outstanding with a great variety of hot cooked foods, breads, muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, and more. The parking lot was also plentiful, well-lit, and felt very safe. Overall, this was an excellent stay and we would absolutely return when visiting the area again. 5/5 Price 5/5 Comfort & Decor 5/5 Staff 5/5 Parking 5/5 Convenient location

I was mislead by the reviews as well as the price for parking onsite each day. From checkin to checkout, customer service was blunt, nonchalant, and unwelcoming.
