One of my friends introduced me to this place not too long ago and honestly, it was one of the best places I ever ate at. The place itself isn't too great. It's decorated with random picture frames and it's a warm yellow tone. But you can easily oversee that with how great the food is. It got to the point where I'm thinking about this place more than once a week. I'm addicted. The food always comes out hot. The wings are always perfect. The fries are always soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. There's always just enough meat in the cheesesteak. The prices are great for what you are getting. Every time I go here, I'm shocked on how much food I get for the low prices. Not only that, the service is amazing. The owners recognizes us every time we step in and asks about my friends and how my classes are going. They treat everyone as if they known them for years. A truly horrid experience. Though the young lady behind the counter was kind, she was the only person taking orders making the wait a bit long. I got a Philly and onion rings, my daughter got the wing special. Neither meal was very good. When my daughter and myself go out we share our meal so that we can get a bit of everything.. we regret this decision this time around because we couldn't figure out what made us sick. My vote goes with the wings. The onion rings literally dripped grease. The bread on the Philly was soggy and the wings seemed burnt or had an odd taste. The food was so bad most of it was left untouched; a decision we were later happy with since we both became quite ill. I called to inform the restaurant that my daughter and myself had become sick and the man on the phone was nasty and accused me of trying to get free food. I never asked for anything, I just thought they may want to know something was wrong with their product that may make others ill. Once offered a replacement meal I had to inform the man I would not care to be treated poorly again and wouldn't risk becoming sick again. I'm sorry that I just discovered this place on my way out of Arbutus (moving in a week)... The wings are amazing, cooked perfect with tasty flavorful sauce and lots of choices on the menu. The first time I went, I got hot wings for my 11-year old ("best wings ever, Mom") and spicy teriyaki for me & my 8-year old. They were amazing. The second time I went was this evening and I tried honey old bay, which were fantastic. Prices aren't too horrible either. Someone mentioned a less-than-professional front desk girl but I'd have to disagree. Last time I had a younger white girl wait on me and she was helpful, friendly and polite. Tonight it was a young black guy and a young black girl and they were both super nice, polite and happy to help. I wish I knew their names to describe them without saying the color of their skin but so be it. They were really good! The place itself is clean. Small but that's expected in a place in a strip mall.
