So I did a little Yelp search for some ideas and discovered Hangry Joe's. I wasn't familiar and I always like some good fried chicken so I dug a little deeper. After reading glowing reviews of fellow Yelpers and looking at the pics I decided to place an order online for takeout. There are tables to eat in if you'd like. I went with the 6 wings combo, medium heat, hangry joe dipping sauce and a side of cider slaw. The wings were plump, juicy and full of seasoning with a good kick on the spice level. I liked the hangry joe dipping sauce and glad I went with their sauce instead of my go to of bleu cheese. Again just to try something different. The cider slaw was really good too. I couldn't eat all of the wings and saved two for the next day. They were still tender and juicy after reheating carefully. And the leftover slaw held up nicely as well. My only complaint (and it's small) is it wasn't enough dipping sauce for the wings. At least not for me so I know to add in an extra one next time. Glad to add another good spot to get food within my local radius!!

I also decided to try the fried chicken wings. Unfortunately, none of the food was enjoyable. The fish was extremely salty and overcooked. The potato salad was honestly horrible, and the greens had far too many stalks and needed to be cooked much longer. The wings were just as salty as the fish and were also disappointing. I ended up throwing everything away. The food was borderline inedible, which was extremely disappointing, especially after spending money on a meal I couldn't even eat. So here I am, still hungry, but I spent money on food I couldn't eat, and I really don't want anything else because of the bad taste in my mouth. It's truly unfortunate because the customer service was very friendly and helpful. Based on my experience, I couldn't possibly recommend this food truck. I should probably check my blood pressure.
