I've never had a crisis dealt handled with the ease and simplicity as I have had here today. Came in on a spare with 3 other busted thread bearing tires and hardly the means or ability to deal with what a competitor told me would be a 400 dollar flat fee for the service that I received here today. Lawrence, the manager assisted me personally with a smile and a calming demeanor that let me know without saying a word that I would be taken care of and that I didn't need to stress out. It was like a doctor telling you your loved one would be fine after complicated surgery. I can't begin to describe how thankful I am for the services he performed, the price he charged and the timely manner that it was performed in. Have had a lot of luck with America's Tire location on Carson in Long Beach. Here seems like they only had one set of guys working so they're literally only doing one car at a time and it literally takes FOREVER. On top of that no one will give you an accurate time for how long your service is going to take. Was told an hour tops and after an hour and a half they hadn't even started on my car. The other location is great and they had tons of guys there working so I was in an out in 30 mins. Won't be coming back to this location for the sole reason that they're super inefficient and don't seem to have much organization. Service was fine but bottom line don't come here unless you've got hours of time to kill. read more

I've been here twice, one for tires rotation and recently to patch up a flat tire. Both services are FREE! Waiting time is a bit long, maybe an appointment would help next time. Well on 03/23/2016 at 5:10pm I arrive at this tire shop with some powder coating wheels...I ask One of the sales representative if they could install new tires on them without being scratch,well he said yes plus powder coat is hard to scratch....well guess what they still chip one of them and they didn't even tell me anything like I was not going to inspect my wheels. read more

Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had when it comes to getting new tires. Me and my boyfriend showed up in an emergency situation. One of the tires had blown up into a big ball and Another one of our tires had a tear on it. Both tires were clearly not safe to drive on and this was the nearest tire center we were to. We arrive and they made us wait about 25 mins before we were even attended. Once they attended us we informed them that we did have warranty and we would like to replace them. They did not have the tires in stock so we (me and my boyfriend) began to call around to see if any other America's tires had the tires we needed. We found that the location in Long Beach on Carson st had them. We asked if it was possible for them to bring in the tires so we can have them replaced and they told us the turnaround time was 2 business days and that they would not drive out to pick up the tires which was less than 30 mins away because "they were busy" and if we wanted the tires we would have to drive ourselves to the other location. On top of that they told me they would not change the tire with the big tear in it because it was "cosmetic." I was in complete shock. I did not feel safe driving this car with a big gash on a tire. They knew that it was not safe for me to drive this car, I had no other form of transportation and I still had to make an extra trip to another location. Since this was the case I called for a tow truck. Tow truck company said they would be here in 90 mins. In half that time someone could have gone to the other location to pick up the tires and have them back. But I had to go out of my way and pay for a tow truck. While I was waiting the guy there told me that I would have to pay for the warranty her at the Carson location and than go change the tires in Long Beach. So pretty much I had to pay these guys for tires they didn't have and go to the location where they did have them and not give them anything. Which is completely unfair. I do not want to give my money to a place that did not service me. About 2 hours later my tow truck arrived and we left to the Long Beach location. I was already irritated so I was not being so nice to these guys. They were really patient with me and understood my frustration. They changed both my tires no problem and apologized for the trouble. A service that should have only taken about 2 hours took me and my boyfriend the entire day. I have gone to other tire centers like Firestone and they have no problem driving to other locations to pick up inventory even if they were busy. And I work in retail and I drive to other stores all the time to pick up inventory as well. I will not be coming back to this location because clearly they did not want to help me but sure wanted the money for the service they DID NOT provide me. read more

Surprisingly way better than I expected. Sometimes we tend to be jaded and have a preconceived notion that mechanics are out to get us. But this is probably one of the best experiences I've had with a tire shop. Completely professional and polite. I came in the store on 9/21 to get my punctured tire fixed. Gilbert, one of the guys from the counter took his time in explaining what's repairable and what isn't according to the guidelines. He gave me three options, given the state of the tire: one, is to repair it as long as it's within the repairable area of the tire, which turns out to be free, offered by Gilbert (they also offer anyone who checks in with Yelp a free flat repair as I found out later); two, is to put the spare tire if it can't be repaired; or three, buy a used/new tire to replace the tire. Naturally, I was hoping that they can repair my tire as I wasn't readily thinking about paying for a new or used tire. However, I was willing to pay for the repair before finding out that they can fix a flat for free. Instead of communicating the state of the tire with me and going over my options (A MISSED UPSELL OPPORTUNITY), the technician who was working on my car decided that he's just going to put spare on. Yesterday (9/26), I had the chance to take a look at the tire for myself and found out that the puncture was in the repairable portion of the tire. I found three one-inch nails right in the middle portion of the threads, where the repairable area would be as Gilbert explained. Having had the time to think about it, I was almost ready to buy a replacement tire from America's Tire until I found where the puncture was. I took my tire to Big O Tires down in Avalon Blvd (220th cross street) and had them fixed it and willingly paid the mere $15 they asked for its repair. All this run around would've been avoided if not for that lazy technician you have in your shop. His laziness wasted too much of my time. Thanks to your technician's laziness, you'll never get my business again. In the meantime, I'll be taking advantage of the free tire rotations until the tires I purchased from you guys wear out. read more

I always come here, the professionalism inside with the customer service reps is great however when it came to the technicians, they were not careful, maybe not properly trained? my rims were damaged somewhere throughout the process. Who ever was removing or reattaching the rims was not careful with a socket as they're going around for the Lugnuts. I went in for a slow leak on my rear left tire. They advertise they will patch your tire free of charge but if not they have to put on a spare or you have to buy new tires. After sitting around for 2 hours they said I had 2 punctures in the said tire. Oh well so I bought 4 new tires with the warranty. The sales guy said if 1 of my tires were not repairable, all 4 tires will be replaced free of changes as my car is AWD(so he says). This all took 4 hours. I was in at 11am and left at 3pm. I call the following day and the story changed of course. They said only only 1 tire will be covered and the other 3 will have to be purchased. Bait and switch right of the bat. Also inspecting my car today, they managed to chip my wheel somehow and left tire grease and what looks like a scratch on my rear right fender. I will be calling them to see what they can do about the chipped wheel and the scratch on my fender. If they can't do anything, I will call corporate and see what they can do. If nothing, I will be filing a small claim. Stay far away from this place if you value your vehicle. read more

Great service here! They've remodeled their lobby and it's looking spiffy! It's cleaner, the room looks bigger, and it's more customer friendly. I came in because one of my rear tires flattened. I made an appointment for 8am (right when they open) and I was quickly helped. On top of the actual tire I needed to replace, my front 2 tires were completely bald, so I needed to replace those too! My husband I only waited about 30-45 minutes for them to replace 3 tires. Carson mall is right across, so we ate breakfast there at Panera Bread. If you come during lunch or late afternoon, there's Chilli's, Panda Express, Jollibee, Tony Roma's, and other restaurants across to keep yourself occupied. read more

I got a flat tire and was told I needed a whole new tire by my road assistance. Not knowing ANYTHING about tires, I called up America's Tire. I spoke with Richard and he helped me schedule an appointment for the next day. I came in and had to wait a little (for about 5 minutes, which was not a problem at all). I was amazed that he remembered our phone call and displayed great professionalism throughout my whole experience there. The staff offered me some water and coffee while I waited. I recently needed a new set of tires and searched for decent prices from differente venues. I got the best deal at this place, and made a next-day appointment on line. I was called early in the day to confirm my appointment, Got there and was greeted and serviced in a very friendly and respectful way. The guy recommended some extras, but did not insist once I said no. They did take a bit longer that promised though. It was time for Ol' Dependable Corolla to get new tires so I started pricing & found America's Tire to be the best for the Michelin Defender I had chosen. Every employee I encountered from my initial phone call to the installation was helpful, considerate and knowledgeable. I had purchased 4 hubcaps online (elsewhere) which they installed at no charge. I requested to keep 1 tire as a spare and they not only chose the best one, they placed it in large plastic bag in my trunk so as not to make anything else dirty. Their attention to details & customer needs goes above and beyond. All my many questions were answered and I was never rushed or made to feel like a pest - instead I actually felt like they sincerely wanted me to be 100% satisfied. Gabriel was excellent as were all the employees. I also noticed that they treated every other customer with the same A1 customer service. Came for an emergency fix and they helped me right away!

Okay, so I saw a nail in one of my tires so I drove into America's Tire. During the consultation, the representative stated that it looks to be a repair. I asked him how much... he said "nada" I'm not going to argue with that! BUT... (and of course there is always a but) if it so happens to be a permanent damage rather than a repair, would I be purchasing a new tire? I said, "no, not at this time. I would just want you to put it back and I'll drive it off since I need time to get a few estimates". Basically this wouldn't be an option once I sign my car for them to "try" and repair due to liability issues. So now I am stuck in a dilemma... I am a person that likes to shop around prior to any purchases but I acknowledge that there is a screw in my tire. But I just didn't have the immediate cash to purchase a tire even if I wanted to. Since he could only guarantee 90% that this would be a simple repair, I didn't want to chance the 10% of having to buy a new tire just to drive off the lot. Sorry for venting on a review so here's the bottom line. They do provide great service and really do care about the customer... perhaps a little too much??? I mean, if I want to drive off with a screw in my tire, why can't I? But since this is a business establishment, they cannot risk a lawsuit if my tire decides to spew out in the middle of the freeway. They offer free tire repairs if it's simple along with free tire rotations. They also have lifetime guarantee plans where if you buy a tire from them, they will give you a new tire caused by any road damages. I'll look into it one day. read more
