This is definitely my favorite America's Tire location. I drive past 2 other locations to get here. Arnel, the store manager, is why I came here initially. He takes care of his customers very well. All the other workers that I've dealt with, Adrianne, Jason, Cisco, Joey, Ozzie, Bryan, and Frankee have been very good as well. 6/10/2011: Came here the first time to get some tires mounted onto a set of Volks CE28s that I bought. I first came to this store after reading good reviews about Arnel from S2ki.com and also finding out that they had a touchless tire mounting machine. I brought my own tires and wheels to get mounted here. I told them I wanted to use the touchless machine but unfortunately it was not operational that day. They instead said they could do it on the regular machines without scratching my rims. They even allowed me to stand there and watch to verify that no damage was being done. After they were finished they placed them in plastic bags and helped me put them in my car. It was great service. 12/8/2012: Just got off the freeway heading to Ikea and noticed something wrong with my tire. I parked and saw I had a flat. I drove the car across the street to America's Tire and they were packed that Sat afternoon. I waited prob 30-60mins, which isn't unheard of during holiday time Sat. When they got to me, they saw the tire and said it was unrepairable due to some cracks in the sidewall. This I understood since the tires were fairly old. I had another set of wheels/tires at home so I decided to call AAA to get it towed since I didn't have the wheel lock with me. AAA arrived and suggested that I ask America's tire if I could borrow their wheel lock to put on my spare. I went to speak with Arnel and within 1 minute, I had the tool I needed to install my spare. Again, great service. 4/27/2013: Recently picked up a 530i which got a flat. Went in to get it repaired but was unable to because a screw dug into the sidewall. I didn't price match this time, but when I looked it up later, the price I got was no more than $5-10 more than I saw on the internet. Prices were reasonable. 4/30/2013: Went back to check another tire on the 530i which was lower in PSI than the other 3. I called earlier in the week to order a tire in my size in case I needed it. Turns out I did. This time the tire they took off had internal cracks in the sidewall of the tire. I'm running 255/30/20 and 275/30/20 so there isn't much sidewall to protect from bumps and the sort. Again I was charged about $5-10 more than the internet price. Had I known and mentioned it at the store, I'm sure they would have matched prices. I did, however, mention this time that the previous owner bought his tires from this chain. They looked up the details by his phone number and sure enough, they prorated that tire. I ended up getting about 38% back which helped. 5/3/2013: After finding out that I could prorate the tires if the original owner bought them from America's tire, I went back to speak with Arnel. He returned the ~38% back from the first tire I bought on 4/27/2013. Took less than 5 mins. Now I need a new set of rears for my S2000 and hopefully Arnel and the boys can help me out again with good pricing and service. read more

I like to write a review when I think it is deserved. When you come across a business and people that deliver on price, service etc. they should be recognized. I have been a customer of this specific Americas Tire for many years- at least 10. In those years I have owned numerous cars and I have purchased numerous full sets of tires. I keep coming back because each tim I have had a positive experience- they are straight forward, prices can be researched on the internet and they are competitive. This is how a tire company should work. 1. I research online 2. I select my tires and know my price 3. I call to confirm stock of tires and make an appointment 4. I arrive, they check the car, confirm details 5. They provide great customer service 6. They run the charge 7. They do the job in a timely fashion 8. They deliver exactly what they said they would 9. I drive away a happy customer 10. I write a review, tell my friends and will return again. The service and treatment I got were so good that I wanted to write a review about Americas Tire in general and this location specifically. This is my 3rd time buying from America's Tire Company in the last 6 years. This was my first time shopping at the Avalon Blvd location and I am very happy with their customer service and speed. I have a Scion and already had lots of wear on my Kumho tires, unfortunately I picked up a screw/nail. I came in for my free repair - but repair was not a reasonable option. Because of my busted budget right after the holidays- I was in a tight spot. What Cisco Yap did was to honor my warranty and credit me so that if I was willing to pay a little extra - (but a small/reasonable amount) I could afford TWO new tires, instead of the compromise of buying only one. So I took him up on the offer. In the past - I had become disgruntled with the American Tire Company warranty because I was never able to benefit from them-after paying extra. The way Mr. Yap did things, it was a win/win situation - AmerTireCo got an 'upsell' - and I got a discount and 2 new tires that I was going to need soon anyway, also the safety and peace of mind from having evenly matched tires! In a tight economy like we have -that was the best possible outcome - and restored my confidence in this company. I will go back again. read more

I have been a loyal customer at the Carson location for many years in part due to the exceptional customer service I received & their free air check service. In fact air check service is the reason I became a customer. Today was the exception and I will think twice before returning. I went for an routine air pressure check because my sensor came on. In all fairness they were busy however, I was told there would be a 30 minute wait. I inquired how long does it take to do an air check. I was told 1 minute but it would be best to come back tomorrow. The air check could have been performed 3 times ovet in time it took for the employee to grab the manager and during the time the manager explained the situation. Very disappointed. read more

I am absolutely locked on America's Tire aka Discount Tire 100%. I will continue to purchase and have all my tire needs and services done there. Their service has always been great and always surpassed my expectations. I always replace my tires there and I truly recommend purchasing the certificate they have which is a tire warranty. It is so worth it. If your tire is ever damaged, they replace it with a brand new tire for free. There were a couple times where I had a nail in the tire and it damaged it and another time my tire was basically cut badly and They replaced the tire both times with a new tire at no charge what so ever. They also do all the rotation and balancing for free with you tire purchase. Their service is great, fast and very professional. read more

I purchased a new set of wheels and tires from this location. From the beginning, I was helped by the manager, Arnel. Unfortunately, I immediately started to have a steering wheel shake with the new wheels. Arnel worked hard and did everything he could to resolve the issue. Ultimately, he ordered the wheels from a different manufacturer and the problem was solved. It was a frustrating experience but Arnel's professional demeanor helped make it manageable. I needed 3 new tires and after price shopping a few places this place was the least expensive with good tires. Scheduled an appointment and was told to be there 10 minutes before my time. I was there 10 minutes before my time and was taken in shortly. I was told that it would be about 40 minutes and so I settled in and was just starting to get into my SOA episode (yes I am late) when i was called over that it was done. About 30 minutes. I think that it helped that I was there early on a weekday. the waiting area is big, they offer complementary water bottles and coffee. Overall I was happy, the only thing that I did not like was that when I called to confirm time and out the door price I was told a different price then what I ended up paying. I had "check the tire pressure" lamp on since last night. I made an appointment for the tire inspection this afternoon, but when I got there, it was already busy. I was also worried that they could have lied to me that I had flat tires, and made me buy all four new tires. On the contrary to my worries, the guy who helped me was very quick to check everything, and let me know that nothing major was going on. I didn't even have to wait at all, and he told me I could just drop in to check the tire pressure for free. With this kind of great service I don't mind coming here to shop for new tires when I need them. I can trust this place especially when I don't know anything about tires!! read more

I was going to buy them anyway because I had already done my own research based on verified customer reviews from Yelp. The kicker came when R**x wanted to force me to put the tires in the back, but I wanted them in the front, because that's what I've been doing for over 30 years with my tires! This place is amazing. I called to see how long it would take to order my tire as they are not stocked at any location. They said next day. I couldn't get down to the shop to place the order but they said it wasn't a problem and would order them anyway. They called me at 1230 pm the next day when they arrived. They scheduled me for a 545 appointment the same day. I arrived at 6 pm because of traffic which is after they stop taking customers yet they still helped me. Their price was CHEAPER THEN EVERYONE ELSE INCLUDING COSTCO. The changed them in less then an hour. I will definitely buy my tires from here on out at this location. read more

Been coming here for years for all of our cars for tire replacements. American Tires has always provided very fast and good service, just make sure you make an appointment online. They will also price match internet prices which is unheard of. Erik helped us today and has previously before. He's a very a nice gentlemen not looking to upsell you on tires or wheels when there's an opportunity, but does provide good offers if one is available. I have been with this company for over 25 years and purchased thousands of dollars in services, warranties and tires. Today, I dropped off 1 of my 6 vehicles under my account with them and the counter rep, Moses, visually looked at the tire and said their is no visible wear and we concluded it must be a nail in the tread area of the tire. Extremely minor visible wear around tire. Prior to coming there I went to competitor across the street and asked them and they were honest and said you need a plug and that's it. I have not driven the car on the flat at all. I have an air compressor so I filled up and took to the dealership. They called back within an hour and said you need a new tire. smdh These are new tires with lots of tread. Then I was giving the wrong number to talk to corporate. Came here after finding out about their $50 discount for black friday for a set of 4 new tires. I have an '07 Scion tC and my dad said I needed a new tires, so I went online and checked out other prices and though this company doesn't have the cheapest price, my dad says they have a warranty that makes it worth it. I originally wanted just the cheapest tires if I were to get it @ ATCo. Why? Cuz if they offer a warranty, it makes sense to just have to go there each time the tires wear out and have a free replacement since the warranty covers it right? I either wanted the Kumho or the Hankook tires. But I read some bad reviews from other tC owners who bought 'em and I got scared. Shiet, I never knew 4 tires could cost more than $100! Let alone 17" ones! So I saw some Yokohamas that some people said were good and I had my eye on them. I saw it cheaper some place online and ATCo's website said they price match so I sent 'em a link and got a call 5 minutes later. Apparently, the company I linked 'em to charges s/h, so America's Tire Co. didn't exactly price match. Whateverz, I'm getting $50 off right? So I made the appt the next day and went. The rep showed me what's wrong with my tires, and I never even realized my tires had cracks on 'em. I wuz curious about getting the exact same replacement for my tires, so I asked. The original tires on mine were the Bridgestone Potenza but when he showed me the $230+ per tire price tag, I thought, I better just drive more carefully from now on =P He showed me 2 Yokohamas, and I didn't exactly understand the difference, even when he explained it to me cuz it was all a new experience for me and I wuz just like yes yes to everything, but he ended up selling me the more expensive one... (-_-") It was almost $200 more than what I expected to pay - $679 for all 4 including warranty. I felt a lil better when my friends were all like, "Oh not bad not bad." LoLz. But then when I went home and my dad said the back tires looked like they haven't been cleaned for a while and only a lil dirty, I kinda got a somewhat deflated feeling. On the plus side, the rep said mine were "green" tires and lasts long! Plus my car kinda drives like new now! The ride is all soft and smooth =D read more

Every time I come to this location it has been nothing but super friendly service. Everyone is so polite and courteous. They try and make sure to get your car serviced quickly, but it is no secret how busy of a location this place is. They do their best to work with you & do not try to up sell any of their merchandise or services. Any rebates or promotions are quickly relayed to you if you mention that you are looking into purchasing something. Five star service. I made an appointment the day prior. They sent email verification of the appointment the day prior and emailed a receipt after service. I pulled into the lot and immediately was greeted with smiles and friendly staff. The attendant was pleasant and also greeted me with a smile. He informed me that it would take about 45 minutes to complete install of my new tires. I sat in the clean well kept lobby and proceeded to import my camera footage to my iPhone. Before that process had been completed I was then greeted by another pleasant smiling member of the staff. He informed me that my vehicle would be right out in front shortly. This was about 15 minutes of my purchase and signature. I was completely shocked at the fast turn around and service. Thank you Americas Tire Carson!
