This was my first time purchasing tires for my car so i was a little hesitant going into America's Tires Co in carson. Of course i knew that their prices were decent and not over the top but i was a little concerned with how my customer service would be. I walked in with only a few people ahead of me, but luckily the assistant manager had just came out to front and had quickly helped me out. David was really patient and very understanding. I originally went in with the mind set of getting the cheapest set of tires, but he really hooked it up with WAY better tires at a really good price. Short and sweet review. I'm very happy with the service from this company. Today my girlfriend and I hopped in my car to go somewhere very important and I realized that my car felt weird as I pulled out, so I put the car in park and got out, checked all the tires and realized my back right tire was flat as hell. We rushed to the gas station and got air for my tire, we handled what we were planning on handling for the day, then we googled the closest tire shop to see if my tire could be patched because it still has a good amount of tread. I called the company on the way there to ask how much they charged, and they said if they could patch it, then it would actually be free of charge. I told them I was on my way. I got there with my girlfriend, the guy checked out my back tire and said they would see what they could do and if they could patch it then my car would be ready in about a hour. About forty minutes later they called me and said my car was ready to go. Awesome experience, very happy I did not have to pay anything, the time was twenty minutes shorter than expected and the customer service was great. I will be going back here when I need new tires. Around 1am last night I ran over something RIGHT as I was pulling up to my house. I got out of the car and heard a loud hissing noise, but couldn't see what was wrong. I woke up this morning to a completely flat tire, and had to come get my tire fixed here. I called this store panicking, they made me an appointment within the hour, and told me to come right in. When I got there someone by the name of Lawrence told me my tire couldn't be repaired. Luckily, I had certificates on my tires, so they replaced my tire with a brand new Michelin tire. Made an appt for Sat; called in on Friday. They already got my order in system. My appt was at 12:15pm, came in late at around 12:30. My car was ready in at 1:30pm. Amazing fast and quick service. Everyone there was amazing! They were courteous and very accommodating. Moses pulled up my order. He was great. Everyone there really are great at serving the customers. I use to go to the American Tires in Cerritos. But they closed down. I wasn't sure where to go for my futures maintenance and new tires, since I been going for over a decade for the location in Cerritos. But today I was driving my mothers vehicle and I got a nail in it. Just by coincidence, the closest tire shop was American Tire and Firestone Tire. I just randomly decided today to give this location a try. As soon as I came in, Jose greeted me with a smile and helpfulness. Even though they were very busy, he was able to get me on top of the list to save my valuable time today and almost noted to me they would finish this very quickly. I am so happy I accidentally needed service today. Because the service here is 5 star. Even though I live 45 minutes from this location. But because of the excellent service I receive today. I am a sold loyal consumer here at this location. And will bring all my family vehicles for all my tire replacement. This type of friendless and prompt service is rare and I found it here. DESTROYED MY WHEEL LOCKS AND KEYS!!! Ok, so I've taken several of my cars to two of America's Tire's locations I never had a problem with the one in Canoga Park. But yesterday I took my Mini Cooper to the store on Avalon. I bought 4 new tires for installation and waited. After a while they came and told me they were having trouble with my wheel locks. They had pretty much stripped one of the keys. I gave them a brand new spare key to solve the problem and they stripped that too- making it impossible to replace the 4th tire. My local mechanic was able to pull the final locking nut after 2 hours of labor and $150. I had to return to Americas Tire for the installation. Tonight I discovered that they tightened 2 of the stripped lock nuts back on my rims after I asked them not to! Now I have to pay to have those removed too. read more

I had my tires inspected at this company. I was told I needed to change the two front tires. I special ordered two Pirelli tires from this company. These particular tires are hard to find. After 5 days I was called and informed that my tires were ready. I informed the sales representative that I would be there at the tire shop this Thursday to have my tires put on my car. Mind you when the order was placed it was under my name and phone number. Therefore when the tires are searched for stock my information is attached to them. After checking in I walked across the street to the Pavilion to kill some time until they call me to pick up my car. After about an hour, I received a call stating my tires were not at the shop. My tires had been sold to someone else the day before I arrived to get my tires put on. I did not receive a phone call from anyone stating my tires had been sold. I drove hours in traffic, wasted my valuable time and gas simply to find out that someone sold my tires. To say I was livid is an understatement. I work very long hours in the ER as a nurse and I'm a full time student. Practically every minute of my life is on a schedule. Just to make a sale I was extremely inconvenienced and my time was sacrificed. This situation was very unprofessional and should have never occurred. Needless to say I'm driving on the same two bad tires that they suggested I replace. I am one very unhappy consumer. read more

i am disappointed on how these employees communicate. it looks like somebody is just talking without looking at the computer for any update or report. I had flat tire yesterday morning, went there at 8am and i was told to order it right away. even get tire insurance too. They had to order from another vendor because my tire which is bridgeston is not being carried by them. That same day at 5pm, the tire ordered arrived and nobody called the next day in the morning to inform me or my husband that the tire arrived already and is ready to put up. I had to take uber for 17 miles back and forth to work. Not realizing how people has to spend a lot of money because of their negligence.Not until i call in the afternoon to follow up and Danny from the ordering dept told me that it had arrived 5pm yesterday. I do not know when do they plan to call us to inform that it is ready to put up. Very poor communication and updates and Neglect and poor compliance. we have been very loyal to americas tire and our branch is at signal hill but since we are closer to carson branch, i have decided to go there for their service that time but since people there do not communicate, better off to look for other branch. I went again today.. And another fail.. I need to start looking for another place to get my rim/tires work on.. Went there to get my tires balance.. Frankee the service advisor ask what car.. gave him my onto and went to look into their system.. told him for my Lexus GS430.. I ask him how much is the cost for tire balance only, he said $18.99 per tire, I ask him why if they only charge $16.99 with installations, lifetime balance and free valve stem, he said those apply if you buy your tires from them, i know his trying to make money for the company but but you do not have to charge an arm and a leg.. tsk tsk tsk... The customer service at this location is poor and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Inventory comes before customers. I went in to take a bad tire that was covered under warranty and yet they wanted to charge me for a tire after they inspected the tire and input the information in the computer letting the manufacturer know it was faulty. The manager calls me to tell me they can sale me a tire for 35% off but my original tire was covered under warranty yet they were still trying to charge me. I took my business elsewhere and received better customer service and didn't have to pay for my tire that was under warranty. Please train your staff on how to handle these situations more effectively. read more

I went to AT today to "purchase" a tire after a MB service Dept told me I needed a new tire because my tire had a screw in it. At the price quoted for the tire, I decided I would look elsewhere. Checked at AT since it was close to home, their price was $71 cheaper. Made an appt, went to the store and spoke with Jair. He came out to check the tire size. He saw the screw and said the screw looked like a shorty and that the tire construction was good enough that a small screw shouldn't make a full puncture. He asked if my warning system had alerted me of a problem which it had not. He pulled the screw out (which was about 3/8"long) and then tested the hole to see if there was a leak of air. No bubbles anywhere. He tested it again. No air leak. He said I didn't need a tire!!!!! Jair's knowledge of the construction of the tire I needed allowed him to better assess the situation and not just jump for a sale. This is the type of service anyone wants and especially women who may not be as familiar with tire issues. Kudos JAIR to you for your EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. You are the type of sales rep any honest organization should want. I hope other treat their customers similarly so your company is seen as reputable. You and your management should know that when I do need tires, I'll be back to get them from AT. Thank you and God bless. read more

Bad service. I went to get three tires put on my utility trailer. I purchased the tires from another source, so I just needed them installed. The guy working there told me it would be about a 40 min wait. I waited about an 1hr and half. After he rung me up, I noticed an extra $30 charge. When I asked the guy why he charged me to balance the trailer tires. He said it was part of the service. Which isn't even necessary for trailer tires. Almost two hrs later they finally started working on my trailer, then the manager tells me to park my trailer behind the building because I was blocking the garages. Which they had told me to park there in the first place. So I was waiting for about another 20 mins just standing there beside my trailer, I was fed up at this point. I went straight to the manager before I can say anything, he said "hey I don't think we can mount the tires, because the tires are too narrow and stiff" I was like wtf! When were you going to tell me this! I've been waiting for like 2 1/2 hrs man. They took for ever to reimburse me my money. After I was overcharged. I've been a longtime customer but after today, no thanks! read more

I had to replace a tire because I had a golf ball sized bubble protruding from it. This place was near work and I decided to go based on a co-workers recommendation. My tire had a nail last year and I went to somewhere else to get it patch but that place didn't do a good job and the air was leaking again. So my colleagues recommended me to go America's Tire in Carson. The old patch couldn't be replaced and so America's Tire gave me a used tire to match with my current ones. I would think they charge me for it but it a free of charge as a loaner they said. I got to say that these guys are awesome. I bought some rims from AT today after ordering them on the phone and making an appointment from Shawn the day before. He was very helpful and very customer service friendly on the phone. I must say they are ALL service friendly and you can tell they really want to help you with your tires/rims. I got there this morning on my scheduled appointment time and was out of there in less than 40 minutes! If you plan on visiting there even for a check-up/looksee that you make an appointment if you can. They are always busy and there can be a wait just to talk to a customer representative. I was helped by a very courteous and helpful man named Moses who took care of my sale and installation. As I sat in the waiting room having my coffee I watched the team in the garage work on my SUV and other cars. These guys are all teamwork and hustle. I really like coming here because I know you get the best service around. I have bought rims and tires from other tire stores in my lifetime but America's Tire is hands down thee BEST. Drove into America's Tire, explained our situation and JOSE took care of us lickety split! Took care of me and not tried to get over on me thought one of my tire pressure sensors were out but come to find out the button switched was pressed from passenger side didn't cost anything and my boyfriend says if u have a flat they fix it for free. They acknowledged me soon as I entered and I called first and he knew what he was talking abt bcuz I also googled it. Was next in line didn't wait long and as I was waiting offered me water. I recently went to check out the air in my tires only to find out there was a screw stuck in my rear left tire. The clerk instantly said for your safety we will need to repair this before you get back on the road. He was able to repair it within minutes! Today again I went for a tire rotation and within twenty minutes they were done! Each and every time I go the customer service clerks are so polite and very friendly.
