It took close to a year to get all 4 rims back the correct color after they damaged one. I got the single back and it was the wrong color. Then they did all 4 rims the wrong color. 3rd time they got it right. I had to buy another set of rims and tires because it took so long. I just put the wheels they repaired on and drove about 20 miles and one of the brand new tires leaks. I think this place is probably ok for 15 steel wheels but I would not bring anything nice here or alloy wheels. read more

I scrambled to replace the flat with the spare (with assistance from my fiance of course) because it was getting late in the day. My mother told me to go to America's Tire Co., they always did good work on her car before. I got there before closing and the awesome salesman (forgot his name, shoot!) was super friendly and helpful. They had the right tire in stock and got my car ready to go in a half hour, impressive since it was the end of the day and other customers were waiting. Got a good price for the tire too. I am amazed at the level of customer service at this place! I purchased 4 new tires for my car several months ago and am still working on getting it drivable so it has been sitting since I got the tires. The other night I noticed that both tires on the drivers side were flat and so I took them in to have them checked. The tech said that they had been stabbed in the sidewalls and that the road hazard warranty did not cover vandalism. Having a large family, money is tight and I just simply didn't have more $ to throw at this vehicle whether the tires were brand new or not. I know that this particular store does a lot to take care of their clients but they went above and beyond today and treated the damage as a warranty, replacing both tires with new ones at no charge! My wife has tried to convince me for over 13 years that America's Tire Company is the ONLY place to go for tires... and today, they proved it to me. I will be back! read more

This place is great. Been coming here for years. On New Years day I got a flat (after having to get a jump on my brand new battery) needless to say a double whammy for my New Year! I showed up after being towed about 4:30. CLIFF was incredible. I have the warranty on my tires but unfortunately last year had one tire replaced but it was used. Of course that was the tire with the flat:( I could not afford to replace my tire (expensive) so he said "lets see what I can do" he put a new tire on & charged me just my warranty renewal. The kind gentleman at America's Tire totally took care of me, and didn't try to hustle for any extra services. On top of that, my little guy absolutely loved watching through their big windows, seeing all the fascinating action of the mechanics at work on the other side. I was a repeat customer until today, the reason I can't t trust the workmanship and do not to be treated with the total disregard as a customer. I was a walk in and was told 1 hour to complete service of a flat tire. I came back and was told it would be another hour maybe more. Ok I was a walk in so I made an appointment for Sat. I was on time Sat. and told 45 mins to complete service. That turned into over 2 hours until the service was completed. Fortunately, I went straight home because two hours later I went out to leave and the repaired tire was flat. I was stranded Saturday night and all-day Sunday without a car. I had to miss work Monday morning to come back to have the repair repaired. The stock medal valve stem covers were missing, I asked for them back only to be told to bad to sad I was out of luck. That is not acceptable workmanship or service. read more

Came in with a flat this morning and got it replaced for free. Just had to pay the renewal on the warranty, $12 is a lot better than the price of a new tire. Ish was super helpful. I love America's Tire in Modesto! Spoke with Joe today who did an air pressure check and he was so helpful in explaining my tread depth and how I might be able to get credited for my old tires. He was very professional and offered great customer service! I have lived in Manteca for almost 10 years now and due to convenience of location I stopped going to America's Tire in Modesto and started going to the Manteca location. However, the customer service in the Manteca location is terrible. I have had sexist remarks made to me by one of the salesmen and also been called a liar by that same person. This place gets four stars, only because I was not able to make an appointment. "First come, first serve", but now and days, not many places take reservations or appointments, so I guess I better just hop on board. This location was pretty packed, but I got out in less than an hour. The two men that helped me (wish I had paid attention to their names), were very friendly and that made me leave in good spirits. I will be going back to them for all my tire needs. :) UPDATE: According to the comment left on my review, they do set appointments. That being said, that is not the issue here at all. All the guys that work here are knowledgeable and professional. I've never felt pressured to buy anything extra, or made to feel dumb. Absolutely horrible. First of all, I called the store, and asked how much was the least expensive tire. The manager (I found he was the store manager later) refused to tell me, and instead gave me the price of THE MOST EXPENSIVE TIRE IN THE STORE! So, I got on the internet and found the tire I wanted, verified it was at the store, and went down there and asked for that specific tire. Came in for a flat tire and was told that the hole was too big and needed to purchase a new tire for my car. They charged me 110$ only to drive couple miles and my car was marking low pressure i drove back to the facility only to find out they charged me for a new tire and patched my old one. The guy who sold me the tire saw me and hid didnt come back out while i was there. So I came out of work to a tire low psi notification when I started my car. I am working 6 days a week generally 8 to 6. By chance, I got out at 5:40 today and discovered my problem. Called America's tires to inquire about closing time and Josh told me to come on in. I arrived right at 6 o'clock worried they were going to close. My car kept showing me "tire pressure low". So, I decided to take my car in to have the tire replaced. When I walked into the shop I was acknowledged right away. The gentlemen was extremely friendly. Welcomed my mom and I in & said he would be with us shortly. Then I believe the manager walked in and asked if we had been helped. We told him no and checked us in. They explained the whole curbside procedure and were very clear. Once they checked my car, they came into the lobby to let me know it was ready. I asked if I needed to pay anything, they said no. That I had a screw in my tire and they were able to fix the problem without having to replace the tire. I was so grateful and the gentlemen said it's a service they do. Overall from the beginning to the end, the customer service was excellent! All the guys were very helpful and welcoming! I would HIGHLY recommend this location.
