I didn't have time to have my leak repaired at the moment but I was able to make it in at the end of the day and they took care of it in 45min. I was using my spare tire on my vehicle and needed my tire repaired. I decided to visit the America's Tire on Hammer Lane. I explained the situation to the technician. Unfortunately, the technician never looked at the tire that needed replacement (which was in the trunk of the vehicle) but he did inform me that a new tire will cost $575.00. I informed the technician that I will have to explore other options and left. I decided to drive to the America's Tire on Pacific Avenue, Nicholas was eager to assist me. I explained the situation to him and Nicholas took the tire out of the trunk, looked the car up in the system, checked the tread, and provided a price of $154! Huge difference in CUSTOMER SERVICE within the same company. I have come in a few times to get my tire pressure checked and pumped this year. I just visited the location again today because I have a nail in my tire and was trying to make it to pay day to get new tires. The guy that was at the air pressure check station made very little to no effort in helping me pump my tires. He disappeared for literally 3 seconds and told me nothing registered on the machine as my tire's pressure was too low. I said thank you anyways and decided to visit the Trinity Parkway location. They were wonderful there. The man there ran back and forth between the machine and my car a few times, and sure enough, my tire pressure started to go up. He had no trouble pumping my tire with air despite the guy at the Pacific location telling me he couldn't pump up my tires, and I should just get a new tire then and there. I didn't catch the Pacific location guy's name, but he is a tall, skinny Caucasian male with a long ponytail and bushy mustache. I'm never going back for air at this location. read more

1/22:24 - I don't know why but I was skeptical about this place until I found out a dear friend of my family and my stepmother came here. Unfortunately , both have passed on. So, I was just about to pass and go home and something told me to go around the corner & come back!!! They looked like they were awfully busy. I went in and got into a short line, before I knew it I was standing at the counter with my questions. The clerk/cashier kindly showed me what my options were after I told him what year, make & model my car was. I chose the option that suited my mileage as I don't go far during the week. I quickly gave my information and he told me what my cost was. I was shocked when he asked me if I had some spare time, he said that they were not busy, but it looked like it to me. He said I would be on my way in an hour and fifteen minutes, I was out before that time. He took the time to tell me what America's Tires had to offer after I purchase my tires. They want you to come in once a month to have your tires inspected and if they need air they will put air in for you. Whew!!! That sounds like a winner, winner to me. One time I stopped to put air in my tire, it was my first time trying to learn how to put air and I had to get $0.75 out for the machine, only to find out that the machine was out-of-order. I've been going to America's tire for as long as I can remember and they are always very friendly and helpful when it comes to any tire issues. Generally, Americas Tire is great at any location. However, the Pacific Ave and Robinhood location has been the go-to. It is conveniently located in central Stockton and if you have to wait, (although service is quick) it is right by the mall! I Just wanted to say a special thanks to Devan, Eli and I the managers here at Pacific Ave. All are fantastic hard working assets to Americas Tire. They went out of their way to help with the tires on my Jeep. The work wasn't easy as the tires are massive and heavy to say the least. Hard to choice between a 3-4 star on this one. And normally this place does 4/5star service but the other day was different I called in advance to make sure they had the tires and I could make an appointment. I needed to get in and out as fast as possible. The guy told me come at 10:30 and u are the only apt so far. I come 15 min early and the guy tells me again that I am the only apt but it might take 10-15 min to get me in. No problem... I thought - I was wrong. By the time they took my car back it was 11am. 6 other cars had been in and out of the bays at 10:30 or later. Basically what's the point of an appointment if it doesn't mean anything. They broke the lug nut and told me sorry there's nothing we can do you have to take your car somewhere else after they broke my lug nut The way I look at it they broke it. They should fix it or send it somewhere else and pay for it to get fixed. When I took it in. There was nothing broken. This place is very unprofessional customer service is no. They just closed the shop and left me at the back of the shop stranded. I live 70 miles away and I was with my wife in 10 year old little girl we had to tow our vehicle all the way home. I've been a customer at America's Tire for probably 20 years or more in Fresno, Modesto, and Riverbank. On Wednesday, I had an odd experience at this store. I stopped by to get an air pressure check since my tire pressure light was on and saw that 5 cars were in line. I waited, but was apparently blocking a delivery truck from leaving. Some angry looking tall lanky guy with a strange hat on aggressively ran out yelling at me and pointing for me to move away. Anyway, it would have been more professional if he would have politely approached me and suggested an alternative solution. I find it hard to believe all five of the other cars in line showed up at the same time. If this store has such limited space, they need to stay on top of the air pressure section to keep it from getting backed up. I ended up going to the Modesto Standiford location and was treated much more professionally. I bought 4 new tires. read more

Second time coming back for low tire pressure. Brought it in the first time for a tire rotation and to check the presire as it kept loosing it over a week. Guys in the shop were vaping who knows what. I got my car back and guy never mentioned the tire. I asked him about the tire pressure and he said if it happens again bring it back we just put air in the tire. It's been happening I told him. Now a week later same issue now with more tires and come to find out they never have me back my wheel lock key. I spent almost 2k on michelin tires. read more

I cannot even think of what words to use in order to express my 100% satisfaction with America's Tire. These guys have ALWAYS been consistently amazing! I have been in here for new tires on three occasions over the past years and they are great about trying to get you a deal on whatever you're in need of getting done. On top of that, they are willing to inspect your tire and fix any nails, leaks, etc. usually free of cost! And lastly, this past time I stopped by to get new tires on my car, I was able to receive a text message alert that gave me precise information about where my car was at with its service. It was nice to step across the street for a quick snack while knowing that I would receive an alert when my car was done. I have never had a bad experience here (besides the need for new tires which isn't their fault), so I highly encourage you to swing by any time you have questions about your tires or wheels! Oh, and lastly, they do allow you to set up an appointment online which guarantees that you'll be serviced in a timely manner in case you can actually PLAN a tire-visit. I came here today to get one simple TPMS sensor replaced on a tire that I was shown was not reading at the Hammer Lane location, in which they didn't have one for my car in stock so I came here after he called and they said they had them in stock. The moment I pull up and tell the employee (who is standing there waiting) why I'm there, he tries to get me to have all 4 sensors replaced because "it'll save me a hassle later"... well I decline because I'm not going to replace something that's not broken ($88 vs $325). He scans all 4 tires for the monitor reading in front of me and says nothing, we go inside and he then says he wants to go out again to double check that the others are all scanning , comes back in to tell me they are all needing to be replaced. My question is why would you tell me they are not working when I just came from the other location not even 30 minutes ago who showed me what the scanner said on the screen including the tires psi, I saw it with my own eyes. So I left without the service I needed because he refused to just give me what I needed in hopes of making a sale of only an extra $200 lol. Then even goes on to ask if I would like to get it financed lol no, I just want you to do the service I asked for. read more

I was near tears at a nearby gas station because i had just dropped off my son at school and noticed my tire needed air. But after spending $4 and pumping air for 10 minutes in the freezing cold, it did nothing. I was cold, felt hopeless and my wrist hurt from trying to hold the pump the right way, to no avail. Someone even helped me and we couldnt figure out what was going on, this same person recommended Americas Tire a few min away and thank God for that. (Bless you kind sir!!) I had no idea this free tire pressure check and air fill service even existed. I pulled up between the cones and it was so quick, the friendly gentleman checked the tire pressure and in less than 2 minutes had filled me up and good to go. I went from panicking about if I could make it home to feeling safe and assured. Bless this kind young man and this whole company for offering this service no strings attached. Going out of town so decided to purchase brand new windshield wipers as well. Turned out they never changed the wipers. I went back and wasn't given any hassle about it but I wasn't apologized to either. Mistakes happen but Integrity is really important when it comes to auto service, especially from such a huge corporation. My car's tire pressure light came on a few days prior and I pulled in about noon, they were visibly busy, however, Dan (I believe his name was) came out to greet me, check on my tire pressure, asked for my phone number and in literally just a few mins he added air as they were low, showed me how to reset the alert in my vehicle, and texted me a link that shows me the data of my tire check. Wow! Also, I learned that you should be checking your tire pressure every month. Now that I know I'm doing that and when it's time to change tires, you know who will be receiving my business, you guessed it. And this is a complimentary service. I was driving from Sacramento and noticed a slash in one of my back tires. I came in with the intention of replacing all 4 with mud and snow tires. Carlos R. Started showing me the highest priced all weather tires he had available. I requested multiple times I see only snow and mud tires and he continued to ensure me that the tires I was seeing were. When literally right below on the description it said all seasons. I am frequently travel up the mountain to the snow and am very familiar with what a snow and mud tire looks like. I opted to only replace one tire (the damaged one) on my Subaru instead since the sales individual was being dishonest and trying for a money grab simply because I am a young woman. I also put my mother on the phone with the gentleman as she has worked in an auto shop for over 6+ years. She also alerted him these tires were not mud and snow as requested. Instead he simply disregarded what we were asking for and continued to try and upsell a BASIC tire. Will not be coming back again as this predatory type of behavior towards women is unacceptable. As someone who frequents the snow this type of mistake could be deadly as snow and mud tires require no chains while an all season would require the use of chains. More than disappointed as I would have shelled out good money for a full new set of snow and mud tires. Know exactly what you are wanting before coming in here otherwise you will be upsold on tires that don't even meet your requirements. Also, don't let them upsell you on the fact that they have a "WaRrAnTy" so they are better. Tires never even make it through the warranty phase so 9/10 times that information is irrelevant and they are simply preying on your potential lack of knowledge. Bait and switch and highest most expensive- shop around. Prices are high and over the phone, they quoted are much lower- than in person and saying only materials/tire price. Once you get there they also tack on labor expenses that add on almost 100-200 dollars more. Went to a smaller shop with same tires and better service for half the price. They also try to sell you on other stuff you don't need probably the most expensive out of 5 shops I called in the area. read more

All of my vehicles have tires from Americas Tire. They've always offered free flat repair, tire inspections, rotations and replacement if they can't fix it and you have the warranty. UNTIL NOW!!! My tires were checked a few weeks ago by these guys and was told I should have 2 tires replaced, they're under warranty. I came in today only to be told by the Asst. Manager, 1 tire isn't low enough to be covered by the warranty. It should be replaced for safety but it's not covered because it's "Kinda safe still"? So unless I want to pay full price, I need to drive around a few more weeks or so until I reach the unsafe zone! When they looked up my history they could see I've had tires replaced with same tread under mileage warranty but was told the former staff no longer works there so I guess policies change with employees? read more
