These guys just want your money. I was replacing one tire that got damage, and they tried to put on a tire that was completely different than the ones I had on my car, which they had put on a year ago. I said the price doesn't look right and that's not how much it should be and if there's any cheaper options, and he looked at me like I was dumb and said no. So my boyfriend calls and had them put the CORRECT tire on and saved me over $50! These guys are rude and would have sent me out of there with the wrong tire. I was a good customer. Then, one of my tires caught a screw and I needed it repaired. After waiting a good while, they finally got to me, looked at the tire , then refused to repair it! They claimed the wear bars were showing. A fact that could be disproven just by running your finger over the bar. Nevertheless, the only thing they offered was to sell me new tires. After driving around with a dangerous screw in my tire, I eventually took my car down the street to another shop . They gladly repaired it for free, no questions asked and it has been fine ever since. I know I will soon need tires. I don't know where I will go, but it sure as heck won't be America's Tires! read more

It's 5:30ish this place closes at 6(I think) I drove up, rolled my window down ask Charles, "What time you open tomorrow?" I must have looked really desperate because he responded, "What seems to be the problem Ma'am?" I shared with him that I have a nail in my rear tire. He asked, "have you been here before?" After waiting 3 hours for them to tell me they couldn't repair my tire and would have to replace the tire, I then had to wait a week for them to order the replacement tire. They never contacted me the entire time and I had to repeatedly ask for updates. Finally a week later I had to wait an additional 3 hours for them to replace the tire. I just left work and saw my right rear tire was at 1 PSI. I was going to fill up at a station but after calling my dad about it, his friend recommended Americas Tire that they can do a fix and fill up for free. I was basically driving over there last minute from work with a flat tire. They saw me walk up and immediately gave me their attention. They clarified that it would be a free and quick fix. When dealing with any automotive retailer, my best advice is to go with whomever your mechanic recommends. However, this depends on your mechanic being an honest guy. Thankfully, my mechanic (Al at Agape Auto) is just such a guy. Although he didn't refer me to America Tire, I know enough about cars so as not to get hosed. Premium tires will come with a premium price. Don't expect to get a set of Goodyear Aqua Treads at $75/tire. However, you don't have to buy into any of the additional services that are offered to you by any of the techs, because quite frankly, they're unnecessary. On my last visit, one of the techs suggested I purchase extended coverage on the two tires I was purchasing. For about $13 the store will replace a flat tire free of charge. I know how to patch a tire, refill it, and mount it so this seems pointless to me. In fact, in the 15 years I've been driving I've only popped a tire once. The only reason I suggest you purchase tires at a big tire retailer is for the lifetime rotations. Yes, I can rotate the tires myself but why would I if I can get it done for free? I'm sure they'll try to make suggestions on what I should do, but I'll only trust my mechanic for when it comes to that. And he doesn't work here... read more

Wow! It's been a while since I last experienced this level of courtesy and no-bull-you-need-this-and-that from an auto repair establishment. Was pleasantly surprised to learn they offer free flat repairs (if puncture is on top surface of tire). Also very pleased with the hand off at the end, meaning they drive the car to the front for you like that of valet parking. All in all, I am very impressed and giving these guys 5 deep red stars! If I could I wouldn't even give the 1 star! I had a horrible saturday to begin with after catching a flat on the freeway. I been to a couple locations before this one but they were busy so I decided to come here as it was close to my mom place & they were able to help fairly quickly. Noor came out and looked at my tire & gave me my options & then charged me for a BRAND NEW tire told me it'll be about 30 mins. I show back up as they were wating for me to lock up shop. I hop in my car as I can see there's not a donut on there anymore and proceed to my moms place. I get out the car and realize there's not one new tire on my car! The tire that couldn't be "repaired" from the damage of it being completely flat and the rubber from the inside had shredded like confetti was patched & put back on my car! Not only was the tire visibly damaged from the outside & half of the brand name of the tire isn't even visible anymore Noor fully charged me for a brand new tire & put my old tire that's completely damage back onto my car. He was the one who handed me my keys, this couldn't have been a mistake or a misunderstanding. Due to it being a saturday, I missed work sunday & monday as well because they're closed sundays. The danger of driving on a tire that damage is completely unsafe, the knowledge he had of this and still handed me my car and keys back knowing he charged me for a brand new tire. I don't know if they were in a rush to leave due to it being so close to closing, they could of easily told me No rather than putting my life in danger & getting over on me. The folks here at America's Tire have an iffy reputation to say the least. I have several friends that told me I was foolish for going to them to get my wheels installed. I worked with Kenny for an hour or so about choosing the correct wheels for my car, and once I had chosen them I was told a couple of days later that they didn't have them in stock, and that the manufacturer didn't make those particular wheels anymore. Kenny proceeded to tell me to choose any wheel I wanted, and that I would only pay the price of the cheaper wheel, which was only about ten dollars less than the ones I had chosen to replace the first choice. Once my wheels had gotten in, I dropped my car off yesterday, and I was told it was going to be about an hour and five minutes. They had also asked me if I wanted my old wheels, in which I told them I did. My friend had told me he wouldn't be surprised if it took closer to three hours. Considering they were busy, I started to believe him. I went and got breakfast and called them just as I had finished. A gentleman named Mark proceeded to joke that he was just about to call me. My car was finished and looked great, and my wheels were placed in the boxes of the new ones, and placed neatly in the back of my car. I'm stoked, and couldn't be happier. We got unlucky during our two day visit in Temecula and got flat tire on our rental car. Besides the hassle of dealing with the rental company and the owner we also had a hard time to find a tire shop on a Saturday that would accept to fix our car because most of them were too busy or they did not want to work on a rental sports car. After checking out a few tire shops and getting rejected this particular America's Tire was the one which welcomed us warmly and after examining the tire and getting our approval replaced the tire in under an hour and prevented our fun trip to be competently ruined. The team at America's Tire really take care about their customers and go out of there way to provide the best service and this location. The team at Winchester Rd are 2nd to none. One of the managers (Elem) always takes the time to explain all of the available options for every customer who comes in that location. The staff are friendly and the team cares about its customers. You won't be sorry going with these guys!! Also it would be right if I failed to mention Curtis, he is one of the hardest working techs that they have on the floor.
