Today was my second time as a Ramona customer and again, it was an absolutely amazing experience. Anything car related leaves me in dread and makes me think of a high expense. When I first went in to buy 4 new tires I was incredibly anxious. Nader helped my fiancé and I and he left a huge impression, seriously top notch customer service and helped worked out pricing with quality service. The free tire rotations are a huge deal. They also offer a package for alignments for the next 3 years that is phenomenal. I hate to admit I didn't take advantage of the tire rotations and went in for 2 new tires today. The morning and afternoon were long ones before I went in for my appointment. Then of course, the dreading of the price. Nader helped me out again today making it easy and enjoyable! I knew they offered a lot here but they really are a one stop shop with a lot of benefits, amazing employees and open, honest communication. Even though the problem ended up being more complex and a dealer's diagnostic computer tool would identify the problem, he helped me out all he could with some instructions if the computer malfunction were to happen again. Been going to this place for years and been a customer. Needed some help on my car due to a skid plate coming undone that I needed help taking off for 2 bolts that I couldn't reach. The guy told me it would be 5pm till it's done and wouldn't budge. I had to go to work so that wouldn't work for me. I went across the street to Big o Tires and told them my problem and they had it done in 5 mins. What a missed opportunity to help a customer in need. I've always done my own auto repairs but I recently moved to an apartment that doesn't allow that. I found Ramona Tire on a good Yelp reviews and it was just down the street from me. Jose, the store manager took care of me and got me in and the service completed the same day and they did a great job. Jose was just excellent communicating everything. At they end they sent me a list of other items that need attention, some right away some down the road. I thought this place was great until I found out that a job I paid for wasn't actually done. I took my mother's car (I had bought her) here to Ramona Tire (who apparently also call themselves Delta Tires) on 40385 Winterchester Road, Temecula on 12-30-22 for Weather guard Mount & balancing 4 new tires, and for front brakes. Paid just under $600 for all of it. Drive it to Northern California (where my mother lived). She started driving it and had issue with the breaks so we took it to her local mechanic, and were shocked to discover that the break covers were left off when they installed the breaks. My mom is elderly and lives in an area with at times dangerous road conditions. This could have resulted in a serious injury. Thus my 1-star review. This review is overdue, and it's from a few months ago. I can't give Ramona Tire a full five stars because the prices were on the higher side; however, I can give Joe from Ramona Tire a 5 stars review. He is anything but your average Joe. Also, Ramona Tire was fast (few hours and same day) and successfully fixed the issue. My car had overheated the day prior, and after I added fluid to it, I took it for a spin--only to see smoke pouring out of the engine again. My car was warning me that it would overheat. In a state of panic, I pulled into a parking lot shared by AutoZone and Ramona Tire, ultimately stopping near Ramona. I popped the hood trying to figure out why the fluid was gone worried about how I would shuttle my kids around without it and how expensive it would be to get it fixed. Enter Joe. He spotted me looking like a deer in headlights and, like a true Good Samaritan, came over to check things out. Without hesitation, he assessed the situation, drove my car into the garage, and pinpointed the issue (after a diagnostic test), explaining it all to me in a way that actually made sense. Thank you, Joe! I don't know your last name, but thank you! After that, I headed inside to officially check my car in. Sure, Ramona Tire isn't the cheapest place in town, but they were quick, efficient, and spared me the hassle of calling around for estimates or arranging a tow truck--especially on a Saturday when most places were closed. They even provided me with a free Uber, which meant I made it to my son's soccer game in South Temecula just in time. read more

Horrible service!! Went to get my tires worked on and somehow when I picked my car up my rear passenger window was rolled down. I tried to roll it back up and it wouldn't completely shut, drove back to the shop next day and the mechanic instantly knew what I was talking about. He said he noticed my windows yesterday, which is ironic because I went for tires. I then told them they are pretty much responsible for that because when I drove in my windows were up and when I picked my car up they were down. They then went on to try and charge me an additional 690$ for the window and offered a 50$ coupon. Stay away from these kind of places I used a snap credit and all they were trying to do was find ways to max it out!! read more

I have a dodge camper van that was driving with major sway at any speed and clunking at stops and turns. I was referred to this location by the owner of a similar vehicle who was happy with the work they did on his suspension. After inspecting my van, I was told there was nothing wrong with the suspension, struts, brakes, etc and they sent me on my way (no charge, thankfully). Silly me! I must've been driving wrong! The next day I took it another shop (also referred by another fellow campervan owner) where they said my shocks were bad, ball joints worn and air bags nearly empty. Recently got all new tires with them only to find out they weren't the right ones for my car causing them to wear out in less than a yr and my alignment was clearly not done right. To add on to that i once did my oil change with them and as soon as my car came out it was dripping oil and had to take it back to fix it again so it doesn't really seem like they know how to do their job correctly. read more

I had pleasure of meeting the Assistant Manger, Nader Shalin earlier this week. I say pleasure, because my Acura RDX had a slow, untraceable leak, that I couldn't locate and cure. I had taken my car to 2 other "Tire Stores" and they too, couldn't locate the slow, troublesome leak. Regrettably, I was forced to pump air into the troublesome tire every third day! On the recommendation of a friend, who is a satisfied repeat customer of Ramona Tire , I took my "Troublesome Tire" to Ramona Tire. Mr Shahin greeted me with a smile and a, "Not a problem sir, we shall look at it and fix your issue within an hour!" He called me 30 minutes later and told me the problem was solved. Apparently a valve sensor was faulty and required replacement. When I came to pick up my car, I was met by Mr. Shahin's smiling face and his comment, "No Charge today!" I was visiting the area for my son's sports tournament when my check engine light came on unexpectedly. Ramona Tire was nearby, so I stopped in for a diagnostic check. A super friendly and helpful young woman named Lily helped check in my vehicle and made me feel comfortable. The big guy failed one of my company cars for compliance inspection because he wanted to sell us tires,the tires in the car was pretty good and less than 20k miles on them, I called Costco and get him 180$ cheaper price ,he refused to match it and said Costco is selling them for no profit!! The funny this is, when I scheduled the 2nd opinion I scheduled them to just do the work Ramona recommended (it was cheaper). I didn't ask them to assess, but the guy wouldn't rip me off, he told me the car didn't need work. I'm being vague bc I still own tires from them, and they're under warranty. DO NOT GO HERE, its one thing to have bad experience, fraud is a different story. Yes you failed expectations, you failed to hire decent people and our management policies clearly incentivize dishonest behavior. this is my review and the experience I had. Nader was the one who helped me out with my truck. his professionalism was outstanding. there were some issues with the alignment on my truck. I had to bring it twice, and the second time, he was able to determine that I would need new tires. which I agreed. it's a bit older, and trying to align an older tire could be difficult. he didn't push to sell me tires, but he wanted to get the opportunity to do so down the road. no auto shop is perfect, but in today's interaction and the issues with the tires on my truck, I believe Nader did well. thank you. \m/ read more

My mother in law has been going to Ramona Tire Temecula for 10+ years! For many years she had a great experience and has had excellent service, however as of late (last 6 months) she has had to take car into Ramona Tire more often than required. The frustration mainly is coming from being there one week and having to go in the following week for a different issue and being charged ridiculous amounts of money when all issues could have been dealt with or diagnosed the first time. She does not have the means to continue being charged and does not want to continue being abused in this manner! Is it possible can this complaint be escalated in any way? read more

A couple of weeks ago, I got in my car to head out of town for a holiday party. Unexpectedly, the warning light came on to tell me that a tire was low. This place was the first tire shop that I came to, so I stopped in to see if they could check my tires. It turns out, my tires were all low due to the cold weather. 2 stars because the staff was very friendly and offered some accommodations, but very disappointed in the time it took to get my car serviced today. I made an appointment last week to get my oil changed and they offered a great special for $49.99 full synthetic. I had an appointment scheduled for 11am this morning and my husband was there to drop my car off at 10:45. They told him they were running behind schedule and that it would take a few hours, so offered to get him an Uber back home, but he hung out instead until our son woke up from his nap and we could pick him up. After picking him up an hour and 45 minutes later, going out to a long lunch and to a few stores we called at 2:30 (3.5 hours after our appointment) and they still had not even started on our vehicle!! After another hours going by, we finally got a text that our vehicle was done (4.5 HOURS AFTER OUR APPOINTMENT!) Unfortunately all of this disturbed our 9 month old's sleep schedule and resulted in two hours of overtired cries and refusal to go down to nap. Very disappointed with the service time and lack of transparency. Time is money and I would have gladly paid double for a 10 min oil change at Synfast. Not sure if the point of their promotion was to get the opportunity to gain new customers, but if it was they have surely failed. I will definitely not be back. read more
