He explained what we should do after he replaces the RO filters. He also checked to make sure our water softener was working properly. He was very respectful, professional and thorough. Two units defective in less than a week (water heater 5 years old and softener 1 year old) both bought from Spencer's, installed by Ameriflow and fortunately under warranty. Their technician has yet to come out and fix the water softener which flooded a good portion of my garage, after the gas water heater did the same 4 days ago. I don't have an issue necessarily with the service techs but the products are absolute crap and don't last. I will update once I can turn the water back on in my house and it's repaired. The shut off valve didn't stop the water dripping so it had to be turned off. At least a $750 worth of drywall repair to be done now. Ugh. It's fixed - 5 stars for service, 1 Star for the product quality. read more

Super disappointed with the lack of customer service from Ameri-Flow. I've had to call them twice to get assistance for the system they installed on my new house and each time they ask about performing the regularly yearly maintenance on the system. It's only been 6 months! They pulled up my account using my name and address, why would they think I'm calling about maintenance when it hasn't even been a year yet? I called today to see if they could help me out with a sulfer/rotten egg smell coming from the master bathroom faucet. The first thing the rep said was it would be an $80 trip charge because it was related to my water heater...really? Then she back peddled and said it was due to my tub in the master bathroom...I don't have a tub. At this point it sounds like they don't care about customer service and their warranty and only want to get additional money from their customers. It's a shame that Ameri-Flow was used to install my brand new water softener system in my brand new house. Guess I'll be searching for another company that actually cares about helping out their customers instead of leeching them for money. read more

We were at Spencers and were interested in a water softener, house filtration system, and RO, so they recommended this company as their endorsed product. Seemed like a good enough product so we decided to go ahead and get it all set up. I did some comparison shopping with other providers in the Valley and Ameriflow's prices seemed in line (as well as their warranty, etc) so we got the appointment set up for 10-2pm on July 12th. About a week before I get a call from them asking if they can move the appointment to 7-11am and I said that I could not do that. A few days later I got a text message from them, again asking if they could change the appointment time to 7-11am and I replied that I could not do that. So on the morning of the 12th at 9am I'm driving to Avondale and I get a call from their tech, asking if I'm home because he's there for my 7-11am appointment. I told him that that wasn't my time frame and texted him a screenshot of my conversation with the company, so he said that he could come back around noon. He did, got the whole system set up, and was a super nice guy, but it's *REALLY* unfair for them to have that poor gentleman out driving in the 100° weather because of the office's scheduling error. Other than that I have no complaints at all and would definitely recommend this company- they just need to make sure their lines of communication are clear. But hey- it happens. read more

I wanted to get a quote for a water filtration system into my home. I booked an appointment for Jan. 25th, they said it would be $20 for the consult which was fine. The tech showed up and had no idea what he was doing. He had to call a manager 6-7 times. Didn't bring his own ladder and had to use mine which felt like a liability. I was then told the manager would call tomorrow with the bid. After two weeks with no word, I called to report this and request a refund. I was given excuses and told I was sent a text on the 26th. I explained I had received no text and I was told I'd be called to discuss. I was told she knew what customers wanted because she older but not everyone does; to which I said why does that matter. I was told it would be an easy job and they'd apply the $20 to the install, but how on earth could I trust this company with this type of service. What a terrible experience. Would not recommend this company ever! Waste of $20 bucks. read more

I bought a "Crystal Pure" Reverse Osmosis system at Lowe's and this is the company that shows up to install it. They are supposedly the same company as Crystal Pure according to Lowe's. If you are looking cross-eyed at the fact that i bought a Reverse Osmosis system because you don't know what the hell it is and are wondering if I'm caught up in the Texas UFO fever or something, it is just a water purification system that goes under your kitchen sink and can hook up to a tap on your sink and your refridgerator. I don't think I would know what the hell an RO system is if I hadn't grown up with one, but now I can't live without one. I'm not sure how so many people do. Their top-o-tha-line RO system cost 320, but came with a penny install special. It actually was a 20 dollar install special when I started the paper work at Lowe's, but while waiting for the Lowe's plumbing dude to finish the papers as a dozen people came up asking where light bulbs, garbage disposals, and paperweights were, the Crystal Pure rep called up and said it was now a penny install special. Everything comes up Mike! There was an extra 60 dollar charge for running a line to my refridgerator and and 8 dollar charge for an upgrade to a primo EURO FAUCET (I know you're jealous), but all in all it was a pretty good deal for an awesome RO system. Especially with the 250 dollar Lowe's gift card I got from my work. HOLLA! They were able to come the next weekend (although at 7 a.m.) to install it and did the whole setup in a little over an hour. The system itself is incredible, way better then your Mom's RO system. The water and ice cubes taste great (in that they have no taste at all), but the real test was with this sweet little water tester they gave me that tests total dissolved solids in water to PPM. Which leads me to my new favorite hobby, WATER TESTING. I know, I'm pretty exciting. Apparently the bare minimum for safe drinking water according to the EPA is 500 PPM. What does cenPho city tap water score??? A barely acceptable 440. Ouch. Screw plastic bags, I'd keep the kiddies away from running water. When the RO system was first cooking it was scoring a 130 as it was working out the kinks. But last time I tested, it was down to a 30. This is awesome compared to Costco bottled water which is a 40. Although the unquestioned king of water, in case you are keeping score at home, is Sparklets water from my work which scored a perfect 0. Congrats, ladies and gentlemen. read more

Art was my technician and showed up to install a reverse osmosis system. I was not home but my mom was and he did his instillation but had to disconnect the dish washer line to add the splitter for the ro unit to run from the same line as the supply for the dishwasher. Mind you we have never had an issue with the dishwasher prior to him showing up. After putting the splitter on to run both the dishwasher and RO unit he informs my mom the hose for the dishwasher is leaking. He does nothing to fix it, makes notes of it on his paperwork and leaves. I come home an hour later to a flooded cabinet under the sink which has spilled out onto the kitchen floor. Immediately call Ameriflow and notify them if the mess that has happened. The girl That answered the phone seemed like she didn't want to help at all and my call was more of an inconvenience....anyways she gets a hold of art and he calls me. He tries to tell me the hose just sprang a leak When In fact prior to him touching it it was not leaking one bit. It was leaking from the connector he messed with. He was almost arguing with me that it wasn't his problem.....but I insisted he was the only one to touch it and before him it was dry....after him my kitchen cabinet was flooded. Anyways long story short he sent Christian over to fix it. Christian was very professional and installed a hoseclamp on the hose where art failed to install one. Seriously what kind of technician messes with a hose, notices it has a leak, tells the homeowner after he was the only one to touch it, then leaves and does nothing to fix it. Long story short it's fixed now but only after several gallons of water leaked out in my kitchen. Art is very unprofessional and I would not recommend him to anyone for an install. Good water softener and service Bought the Krystal Pure water softener at Lowes. The staff seem to be fans of the units compared to other manufacturers' products. Scheduling was easy and they arrived bright and early a few days later for the install. They secured the necessary permits, communicated well, offered to take the broken softener, explained operations clearly, and gave me the numbers for fast response if anything went wrong. Nothing did and everything passed Goodyear inspections cleanly when they came out. Warranty terms are very strong compared to the large manufacturers. You pay more for the device and less for the install, oddly enough. I haven't had to use the warranty service, so can't say if they do a good job on the post-installation support. read more

I bought my water system at Lowes 9/8/12. Their contractor, I'm guessing is Las Vegas Quality Water. WOW. THEY SHOULD CHANGE AND HIRE A REAL COMPANY. The technician who came, did not come prepared. When I went to Lowe's I let them know that I had a stainless steel sink. The technician's drill that he brought, did not go through my sink. It just turned bright red (from all the heat) and had metal shavings go every where. He had to call a co worker for parts and equipment. SO WE WAITED. AWKWARD. He left a complete mess underneath my cabinets... I'll attach pictures. Cables sprung up at me out of no where, and he left wood shavings all in my clean pots and pans. They say when it comes to change my yearly filter it will be "free"... We will see in a few months. KEEP IN MIND, THIS IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. I haven't even had this a year, and I am noticing black particles in my ice, and seeing as how we did an ice run line as well, I called the company, and jumped through a few hoops. I told the technician about the black in my ice, and over the phone, he told me that it sounds like one of my tank's filters has ruptured..... I was told that a technician would call me in a few days to schedule a drop by. They called me a few days later from a number that only had four, YES, FOUR (4) digits. So I didn't answer, because, one I don't answer numbers I don't know, and especially an odd looking one. An associate left left a message, and for extreme personal reasons, I was not able to get back to them. Weeks later, we were in contact again. The woman that I dealt with was excessively rude, telling me that they would not be sending out a technician, because there was nothing "wrong" with my water..... even though it's the water that goes to my freezer. I told her about what THEIR technician had told me over the phone about a rupture. She told me that I need to have my freezer checked out. Refused to even send out a technician to CHECK. This has not happened before I got this system. KEEP IN MIND... STILL UNDER WARRANTY. I've paid HUNDREDS to have this installed. They'll get your money, and then treat you like garbage. NEVER using them AGAIN. A technician came out to change filters, and what do you know, NO MORE BLACK CRAP in our ice cubes. Cheap company that doesn't want to do anything extra. read more

I purchased a water softener through Spencer's TV & Appliance and Ameri-Flow was their installer of choice. I became hesitant upon reading the other reviews, particularly about poor customer service. After dealing with them myself, I can verify the truth of those reviews. I placed my order for the softener through Spencer's on a Thursday and was told Ameri-Flow would contact me to schedule the install on Friday, or Tuesday at the latest. Come Wednesday, I still did not hear from Ameri-Flow and decided to call them myself. I call them, and the (less-than-friendly) woman who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about. I call Spencer's and they re-send the order. Ameri-Flow then reaches out to schedule the install. However, I wanted them to actually LOOK at my house before just guessing on a quote, a service which they graciously charged $20 for. ... Okay, fine, no problem, and it turns out that I had a loop already so the previously quoted price of more than $400 decreased to $200. Great. HOWEVER, what the tech who looked at the property did not mention at the time was that I would have to pay an additional $300 for a drain line. I only learned about this drain line issue when the woman again contacted me to do the install and I confirmed the price. The woman, per usual, had no idea what any of that meant. She said someone would call me tomorrow to explain the technical aspects of it. And of course, no one did, and nor did they ever after waiting several days. Annoyed, I then contacted Spencer's, canceled my order, and got a full refund (thank you, Spencer's!). The best part of all of this is that this morning, despite me (1) having already received a full refund of my purchase price and (2) never actually setting up a day/time for any install, Ameri-Flow RANDOMLY shows up to my house this morning at 7:00 am to install the softener. I explained to the very confused installer the situation. Not only does Ameri-Flow waste the time of its customers, but it also wastes its own time too due to their own disorganization, which I suspect has to do with their less-than-competent office staff. If you have a choice, go with someone more reliable and who has their stuff together! Given how disorganized they were with all of this, I can't imagine how disorganized they would be if I had let them dig up 40 feet of my yard and cut my plumbing. Jesse helped me with my 2 yr old KS64 was not pulling in sodium from my brine tank. I received replacement parts for my brine & gear motor. After receiving quotes of 450 to 1200 from different local vendors, It motivated me to try the replacement install myself. I bought an Ameriflow Water Softener several years ago. When they came to install it, they said the water pressure a little too high, and asked to also install a pressure regulator. I agreed and have been using the system for about 5 years. Several days ago I noticed my faucets didn't have pressure and when I took off the aerator screen there were resin beads in it. When I called Ameriflow to report the resin bag failure, they told me that the pressure regulators only last 3 years, and since it has been 5, it had likely failed, and the pressure had damaged the resin bag and shot resin beads all over my plumbing. They also informed me that to replace the bag would be $299, also, the valve on the unit is no longer made, and would have to be replaced too for $399. Plus, they'd charge $70 per faucet / valve to clean out the rest of my pipes of resin beads. So I need to spend $700+ to replace the broken parts or $1050 to get a whole new unit. Bottom line, they knew the pressure valve wouldn't last, and made no effort to educate me. Replacing this simple part once every 3 years would have saved me thousands, but now it's too late. Their system knew exactly when my unit was installed, when the pressure valve was installed and a simple 3 year reminder, or education the customer would have gone a long way. read more

I would like to thank Nick and Jessie at AmeriFlow, without their help and guidance I would not have been able to service my 14 year old KS15HE water softener. I was not sure about working on my own water softener, they seem fairly complicated. After talking with Nick and then Jessie it became clear that the restoration of my unit was a thing I could do. we discussed what parts I would need and they took the time to walk it through the company, having it shipped out within a couple of days. I replaced the resin, out flow tube and basket, flapper valves, ball valves. while I had it apart I cleaned 14 years of use off of the control head. As I said, I was very intimidated but Nick was very informative and helpful with instruction, when I had a question. I believe this is a process that anyone could do. My city water has a hardness figure of 250, the softener was putty out water that had a number at 100 and after the rebuild the hardness number is 0, that is right, 0. the whole thing would not have been possible without the professional help of Nick and his lead trainer Jessie. Recently, I purchased a new home that came with a water softener, and a reverse osmosis, but I wasn't quite sure the last time it had been serviced. I quickly set up an appointment with customer service, for a technician to come out and service my units. I found the company to be extremely professional. Customer service was friendly, and the price quoted was just what I paid. The technicians arrived on time, they were clean cut and professional. They assisted me by doing a courtesy water softener check while they were out here to install an ice line run from my reverse osmosis to my refrigerator. The job was done beautifully, as my ice line can't be seen at all, and they had to go clear to the other side of my kitchen. While the technicians, were there I asked if they could install a garbage disposal for me. They did happily, and it didn't take them long at all for a small additional fee. I will be using Ameriflow Water in the future for all my water needs. I did learn that they do plumbing, dryer vent cleanings, reverse osmosis filter changes and repairs, along with water softener installations and repair. Their pricing is very reasonable. Thank you Ameriflow Water for helping me with my home water needs. I now have soft water, and awesome drinking water. read more

I purchased a water heater and it was installed by then two years later it stoped heating I called they told me to contact the manufacturer and have them send me the part then they will install it when I asked if this was their normal procedure the lady said yes and was quite rude I received the part called them it took them 5 days to install it. they were real nice on the installation but service there is none. most of the reviews dont mention service because they don't need it but when they do try and get it I had my daughter call them with the same problem but not under warranty they said we can come out this pm. it appears they want to sell but not service what they sell read more

Worst of the worst. Have an R/O system that was installed in 2009. Our house is a resale and we noticed that the system was needing service. We called and made an appointment. Ameriflow knew who I was even though i did not buy the system from them so you know they knew right then and there how old the system in my home was. Technician came out yesterday and upon inspecting it told us that this was the last time that they would work on our system because the age. When he went to remove part of the hardware, it broke and water shot out everywhere. He did not do this on purpose, it was because the system was so old. Now we needed a new one. We said go ahead and install. He says that he can't today because he does not have one. The earliest he could get it done would be next Wednesday. So we can be 6 days without drinking water. That answer did not sit well with me. I declined and he was on his way. I called today and spoke to the office and the office informed me that the person who booked my apt. should have told me that the system I had was old and needed to be replaced. She failed to do her job and now the snowball begins to roll. They still offer nothing but an empty sorry about that and we can help if you want. No nothing. Two stars only because the customer service and installers are good. Unfortunately, the water softener is a total piece of junk. It was bought at Lowes, and installed and serviced by ameriflow. Beware the warranty does not include an $85 " service charge " anytime warranty service needs to be done. I had to pay this charge four times on a $1000 system. In the two years I've had this system it has never worked properly. Just had service out again, so hopefully it will work the way it is supposed to. read more
