Horrible cleaners with absurd customer service. Terrible place. Not sure where some people are going but if you have expensive garments DO NOT go to this cleaner. We asked the owner (Korean woman) when we dropped off two garments if she would be able to get very light food stains from the front of shirts. After telling us it would cost $7.25 each she said most likely they will get them clean. When we went to pick up they looked exactly the same, no lighter in stain shade and she refused to try again. The owner did however charge us the full price for an incomplete and VERY POOR job. Whats the deal? Learn ethical business practices lady!! Terrible lack of ethics and nasty about it too. Mine was supposed to be ready by yesterday. I went there but they said it is not ready ( I asked them to wash and fold my shorts). They didnt fold my stuff and asked me to come today again. Had some shoes that I really need to get cleaned by a certain date. I clearly told the manager when I dropped off the shoes that I needed to have the shoes cleaned by a certain date I offered to pay extra to have them done within one week she said no. She said that the shoes would take a week no matter what. So I said OK let's get the shoes cleaned then a week later I stop by to pick up my shoes and my shoes are the same way I left them DIRTY. Tried this place for the first time and I loved it! I walked in there near closing time with pants I had to have dry cleaned by the next day and was told I could pick it up at 8 a.m. the next day. And the pants looked good! They were not over-starched like other places. They were the same size they were when I turned them in for dry-cleaning. And the price was comparable to other places. What I loved most- the lady at the front speaks English- which I meant that I could explain in detail just how I wanted the pants to be cleaned and she understood everything. Love it. read more

Unreliable, careless, and dishonest. They'll tell you that shirt laundry is $2.00 but charge you $3.75 when you pick it up because they claim that they had to hand finish it. If you point out a stain when you bring in a shirt, they'll tell you "okay" and mark the stain. When you pick it up, the stain will still be there. They'll tell you that you need to pay again for dry cleaning to remove the stain. They'll claim that they don't remove stains unless you order dry cleaning service. The worst part is that they'll press the shirt with the stain on so your stain becomes set and I removable. To those who don't know: All cleaners, except this one, remove stains with regular laundry service. This place is just one of those places with shitty owners and shitty employees. Update: The Soo P review is likely a paid review or a review from the owner. The purpose is to put a 4 star review at the top and fool potential customers. They've been pretty good lately with my clothes. Took them in when I had a bunch. They took out stains in a couple of them (don't leave them in too long before taking them to the cleaners). And they don't use Perc. Thank God for the coupon or it would have been pretty expensive. There is a cleaner in Placentia that is cheaper but they do use Perc - that's why. With over 80,000 chemicals our agencies (EPA, FDA) approve without testing, you never know. read more

Slightly above average, but I will continue to use them as long as the quality of dry cleaning and the efficiency of service doesn't decline. Consistency, right? They are the best cleaners, they fix buttons, hems, bras & they clean the clothes fantastically. If they have a stain they do their best to get them out. So far no problems with them. They have not ruined anything like other cleaners that I have gone too. I do not even own an iron I go to them, or just buy wash & dry no wrinkles. read more

This is my go to place for dry cleaning. There hasn't been a job that they have not been able to fix. From stains to alterations for my pants, they have been able to fix it. They ladies at the counters are very polite to me. They have been able to get the dry cleaning down by the specific time given or when I have asked for a an earlier date (like one day earlier and have done it once only). But they said they can do it, which was awesome. It is on the pricey side but I am paying for the quality of service which has been excellent so far. This is my dry cleaning place. Yes, there are complaints that it is expensive. But for me the location can't be beat and outweighs the price. On top of that, I adore the owner. She is so friendly and nice. I have young children and always have stains on my clothes. I've never had something come back "unclean." And I like that this dry cleaners is environmentally friendly. It's the cleaners used by the residents of the housing track behind it, it is over packed with garmets. They were good about my request to pick up a dress shirt earlier in the day it would be ready. Nice place. For me is conveniently located. I think it's worth it to take very expensive garments here. I like the idea the cleaning isn't outsourced. Therefore I have more confidence in the quality of cleaning. I have another place for the majority of my items that aren't so high priced due to the cost of this cleaners. I went in to have a zipper replaced on a sweater/jacket, and these folks did an expert job for a decent price (in my opinion),same charged as quoted; it pretty much revived my sweater/jacket that I love so much. Just got charged $10 for a $9.86 dry cleaning service because they have a minimum for credit card AND debit card uses for purchases under $10. Debit card fees are minimal, if any....it's like cash!!! I understand there are cc fees to the owners, but that's the nature of doing business in the modern world. They told me that they could apply the difference to my next service, but I said not to bother. I won't be coming back. What happened to valuing customers and providing good service? As a former business owner, extra fees and minimums were never our policy. It's difficult to support small businesses or any business when they want to nickel and dime you for everything. I had a large dry cleaning order which included a very nice silk shirt of my husband's. Unfortunately for me I had trusted this dry cleaners enough to count the items, but not fully check all the items in my order at pickup time. Until I got home, I didn't realize the silk shirt was missing and replaced with an old faded dress shirt that did not belong to my husband. I went back to the dry cleaners to ask them about the missing silk shirt and replacement old faded shirt, and I got the run around for several weeks. Finally I was told I would be reimbursed for the cost of the shirt, but the only person who could issue the reimbursement was conveniently never around for the next several times that I came in. Finally, I gave up and decided it would be their loss to no longer have my business. Once trust is lost, the business relationship is over. read more

About a month ago, I picked up 3 pants and 5 laundry shirts. I asked for a spot removal on two of my pants. When I looked to see if the spots were removed or not, I found that there was a big hole in one of the pants and almost a hole in another area of my pants. I took them immediately back to the cleaner and showed them to the lady who works at the counter. I told her that if there is a hole made, you should at least let the customer know about it in advance. These were one of my favorite pairs of pants -- the material was thin and light, cool for a warm day, and a great brand. I asked them to patch the holes via alteration, and that they could take material from the bottom of the pants. I figured it was the least they could do, and she said she would out of courtesy. 8-9 days later, I called to ask if my pants were ready or not, but I was told, "No". I personally went to the cleaner to ask what had happened, and the owner of the cleaner (Korean-American lady) showed me that the holes resulted from the age of the pants. I felt prosecuted as she probed me how old the pants were and even claimed that she would evaluate the age of the pants herself. I was taken aback and offended by her attitude towards a customer like myself, when I had done nothing wrong but ask them to fix their mistake. I wasn't asking for new pants, but rather a sew and repair. It was a very reasonable request. The owner told me, "No", but that she would do make an exception for only this time. After that incident, I brought 3 pants and 4 laundry shirts to the cleaner on a Thursday, and I was told that they would be ready Monday after 5pm. I called Monday morning asking if it would be possible to have them ready by 3pm that day. the lady who was working at the counter said that wasn't possible and to come after 5pm. I asked to please try to do this for me, and when I went in around 4:25pm, she told me to come back after 5pm. I went back home, and at approximately 6:45pm, I went back to the cleaner to pick my items up. However, everything was ready except for one pants that I asked for spot removal. That one pair of pants was returned to me as rejected. After coming home, I was very upset and felt bad. i called the cleaner again but nobody answered the phone. The next morning at around 9:45am, I had the chance to talk again with the owner, and she told me "she had reserved the right to reject service to anyone". I told her I had been a patron for over 12 years since their grand opening, and never had I ever received a rejection of service in the last 12 years. I asked her that if she wanted to reject it, why hadn't she rejected the pants in the first place or when I was in there at 4:25pm. ALL IN ALL: It seems like the Amerige Cleaner business is getting busy. There are not many customers who have been patrons for over 12 years since their grand opening. I believe that it's faithful customers like myself who have contributed to the growth of the business. However, now that the business is successful, it seems like the owner's attitude has changed and the success has gotten to her head. I recall very clearly when I first went when they opened that the owner was very humble and hardworking. This seemed to have changed since 3 years ago. The owner's attitude is now absolutely terrible and after 12 years of going to this cleaner, I need to find another good service cleaner in the City of Fullerton. I'm going to be trying Platinum Cleaners at Brea or Berkeley Cleaners at Fullerton. If you want unsatisfactory service, a bad attitude, and holes in your pants -- DO NOT GO TO THIS CLEANER! read more

I've been coming to this cleaners for years and never had a major issue. The only thing that has ever happened were that bra straps that went missing after a cleaning. However, we must keep in mind Companies/People are NOT perfect and mistakes are going to be made once in a while. Losing bra straps were not a big deal to me... as I have TONS of extra bra straps at home. I'm sure they were just misplaced anyway. No biggie for me. Anyway, the location is super convenient for me... it's right between my home and work locations. I love that they are open at 7AM during the week so I can drop in before work. The gal who I usually see (works only in morning shift I believe) is so very friendly and kind. Great customer service. I brought in a long bench pillow to be dry cleaned. They absolutely ruined the pillow, it was thick and lumpy and bunched up to the point where it was too short for the bench. They tried to fix it, but it still didn't not look the way it did when I brought it in. And it was still dirty. I paid $22 for them to ruin the pillow, which they refused to refund. Apparently keeping $22 was worth losing one customer's business. I won't be coming back. read more
