My photography group decided to have a Monday meet up at the bowling alley to answer the question can photographers bowl? I haven't been to this bowling alley since it was a Brunswick Lanes. Our original plan was supposed to be Sawgrass Lanes but they canceled our reservation. This worked out great for me because it was right around the corner from my house. AMF has made some improvements and it looks great. We had a fairly large group so we took over four lanes. I got my shoes and was impressed by how new and clean they looked. I had a great time bowling even though I am not very good. By the end of this outing I was glad that I didn't sign up for the bowling event at the Yelp games. I still had fun though and I had forgotten how much fun it is to go bowling. We had a great time ribbing and cheering each other on. As it got late they turned down the lights and turned on the black lights and multi color lights for glow in the dark bowling. They also had screens above the lanes showing the basketball game. While we bowled we munched on food from the snack bar. We had fries, wings, pizza, and burgers. They offer the typical selections you would expect from a snack bar. Other amenities offered here include a pro shop, pool tables, and a game room. As for the question can photographers bowl the answer is while only some can bowl well all can have fun trying.

Mon-Thurs special $3 Big Bowl Captain Mai Tai

Bowling prices are not bad and there are daily deals! The bowling place is not too big but enough for a small-medium crowd. Good music playing in the background. There are deals on alcohol drinks too! I got $3 big bowl captain mai tai, it's one shot of alcohol, juices and two fruit pieces; cherry and orange slice. Regular price is $8 and it's 2 shots of alcohol. The fries, mozzarella sticks, and wings are crispy and not hard. The staff are nice and don't have an attitude. I would come back here again especially for the bar!

The place is dark with blacklights and cool murals of cartoon, anime and VG characters on the wall. There are specialty slushies you can get. There is alcohol. They have an old gamer staple: Bawls The cover charge is 15 dollars per hour which is awesome. You can definitely spend a whole day in there easily and not break the bank. I loved the variety of the cabinets. Theres traditional and modded cabinets with tons of oldschool games to play. Beat em ups, fighting, racing, hunting, DDR, rythm games, console games like gamecube in the front. They even have a sailormoon S beat em up. Im a hardcore sailor moon fan so it was appreciated. The bathrooms were clean. There is one big flaw with this place. Many of the games I played had buttons that would stick so I was unable to play them. Games in particular are the Spiderman beat-em-up in the second room, the DJ rythm game (not sure what its called. The one in japanese), the other rythm music game in the cornor of the second room, metal slug X, melty blood. The sailormoon game also. Oh and the L.A. shooting game with the guns doesnt have any rumble on them. The cabinets that have a ton of games in them are cool but the buttons arent mapped to each game. If you play a fighting game that has 6 buttons and theres a bunch of combination moves you can do with all those buttons but only 4 of those buttons are programmed to the game, you cant do the moves and theres no point in playing it. To get the full experience out of this arcade, I would suggest the owner go through each cabinet and set up every game to where the buttons can correctly do what they are supposed to do. There is no point having a million games if you cant play any of them because of broken buttons and mapping issues. It needs weekly maintenance. I understand that kids can be really rough with the buttons but if you dont fix the buttons then whats the point of having the games there if you cant play them? Its really easy to map the buttons. That would fix half of the problems. My fiancee said it best "its like playing cup and ball without the string. And you have to keep picking the ball up off of the ground. " Huge potential for this place. It could be 5 stars with maintennence. I see the vision.

Owned by Jonathan Demare, Arcade Time Entertainment has been open for three years and operates a small chain of arcades in Jacksonville, Wellington, and The Falls Miami. They hope to expand to 39 locations by 2027. My generation grew up in arcades. As home entertainment systems evolved more people stayed home to play games but nostalgia has brought the arcade back reinventing it for a new generation. Some of the other Arcade Time Entertainment locations have a restaurant but this one is just games. This arcade is brighter and cleaner than the ones I remember from my youth. Games here include arcade games, virtual reality and motion simulation. In a back room is the retro games I grew up on like Pac Man and Donkey Kong. Cards start at $20 for 400 credits and go up to $250 for $7,000 credits and special game pricing. Arcade Time welcomes birthday parties and camp groups. It is nice to see an all ages entertainment option has been added to the mall. Oh and if you are still looking for Victoria's Secret it has been relocated further down in the same hallway as the Old Navy.

This location did seem a little less busier than the location in Davie however, towards the end of the day, it does pick up a little bit. I also really liked that they offer adult beverages liquor, wine, and canned drinks which gives parents a chance to relax a bit while the kids play. The fun bites were fresh, sweet, and crispy definitely a highlight. They also have Dippin' Dots (one of my favorites), and those did not disappoint. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, and fries as well those were just okay, nothing special, but the kids enjoyed them. Pricing was reasonable overall. The room wasn't ready when we showed up to decorate. Party plans were made ahead of time, including food purchases, but over half of the stuff we ordered never was made/failed to show up. Waivers were submitted online beforehand by a large number of our guests, but they insist they didn't receive any of them, so everybody had to fill and submit them again (taking away from their play time, which is timed). We had younger kids at the party (10 and under), so we asked to have the pizzas double-cut, into smaller slices... but they refused, and we had to run down the street into the Dollar Tree to get a pizza cutter, to then double cut it ourselves. We ran out of pitchered drinks multiple times, and I had to bring the pitchers back to get refilled, as they pretty much never/barely checked up on us throughout the party. It would have been cheaper and more sensible to go to eat elsewhere either after or beforehand... Maybe just pay regular admission and try bringing a cake, if they'll let you in with it. Having the parents buy their Groupon offer, and then reimbursing them, would have made more sense for a party and saving money.

Half of the arcade games don't work and the ones that do steal your money oftentimes. The inflatables are ripped in so many places with leaking air and are taped up wi the bandages. Water bottles are not even allowed so we have to go up to the counter every time we are thirsty and ask for our water bottles. The TVs are not on for the grown ups and the WiFi is lousy. The staff act like they don't care about their job and the extent of their cleaning is walking around with a broom once every now and then.
