Probably one of the worst pizzas I have ever tasted. Decided to have friends over for football Sunday and wanted to give this place a try. Will definitely not be doing that again. So disappointed in the service and food quality. Amici was one of our favorite places to go. It was fresh and authentic food now its gone down hill to frozen food. I understand covid and cost but i would rather pay more for fresh then for frozen. 1. The price listed in the menu is not what we were charged. 16" pizza 16.99 charged 18.99 which was undercooked. Took it home to finish baking. 2. We ordered their amazing fresh mozzarella sticks and within 2 seconds we were handed a basket of Safeway frozen sticks that were still cold in the middle. 3. No one ever cleaned off out table, we had empty bread basket, appetizer plates, empty cups, salad bowls, etc. It just piled and made enjoying dinner a little difficult. 4. I ordered gnocchi and when i got my plate there was so much sauce it looked like soup and barley any gnocchi in it. So i paid 18.99 for a bowl of sauce and a fork to eat it with. On the return trip from Mt Rainier, My sister and I stopped at the nice little restaurant to see if we could sit outside since I had my pup with us. They graciously said oh yes, please choose a table. Your pup can be just outside the gate within close proximity of your table. This was a game stopper for me since I don't leave animals in cars regardless of weather conditions. Our server was very nice and even brought out a bowl of ice water for my pup when he brought our drinks. He spoke to my pup each time he came to the table, even though my pup isn't nice to people. We started with calamari. Nicely seasoned and lightly breaded. Cooked just until done, not rubbery. It was served with a sauce that had a little kick to it. A perfect paring with the calamari. Main meal for me consisted of their grilled chicken with apples salad. They use local Washington apples which were crisp and flavorful. The spinach was very fresh. The Gorgonzola cheese, candied walnuts and dried cranberries were a perfect match for the spinach. The dressing was a strawberry vinaigrette which didn't overpower the other flavors. They had excellent choices on their menu. The service was stellar. I wish there was a stellar gold star to give on this review. I look forward to my next dining occasion there. read more

Went out with my wife and friends, trying to support local restaurants during the Covid 19 crisis and restaurant rally. Service was very slow, took 15 minutes to get a glass of wine. Started with some calamari, bad choice.... it was a bit over cooked and tough, the sauce was ok. Decided to get the seafood manicotti, with shrimp and smoked salmon. The cheese manicotti tasted fine, but the smoked salmon was so salty that it detracted from the whole thing. Don't know if I'll go back again. read more

Drinks were poured well, not so strong you're actively growing hair on your chest but doubles are true doubles. We did the artichoke dip as an appetizer, nothing too special, could have skipped because our entrees were good portions. Server was knowledgeable, I tried to order a black opal (I've never had) and they didn't have an ingredient so I settled for the tried and true Moscow Mule, it didn't come in the copper mug but tasted perfectly. Great food, warm environment, good customer service, and very reasonable prices. It is a 40 min drive from where I live but once a month I do the driving just to get to my favorite dishes. When returning from Mount Rainier and heading to the airport for my trip home we stopped here because they had outdoor seating and we had my sisters Pomeranian with us, the weather was a little warm i am a HUGE advocate for not leaving animals in vehicles even if the weather is slightly cool! I walked in and asked about the outdoor seating and explained we had a little dog. I don't remember his name but our server was the one i spoke with and he stated the dog could not come inside the gated area but he could seat us on the edge near the fence so we could have the dog near us. we obliged and sat outside. We had the calamari appetizer, nicely seasoned and the breading was not overly done. Crispy coating and the calamari was cooked perfectly, we especially liked the dip which had a little kick to it. I chose to have the chicken picatta as my entrée. The chicken was cooked well and not tough but did have several grizzle sections that were not appetizing. The sauce was amazing, pasta cooked al dente. the bread that was given to us was thinly sliced focaccia (i believe) and the herb butter made it even better. it came with choice of house salad or Cesar, i went with house and blue cheese dressing. Our server was attentive (even to the dog who hates people) When the server brought our water he also brought the dog a bowl of ice water. He spoke to the dog on every visit to our table. This was a great dining experience and we were more than pleased with every aspect of it. I hope to return to the area soon and visit again! read more

The service was ok. Somethings we got right away without asking and But i never did get my Parmesan cheese- at an Italian restaurant by the way. The waitress was a sweetheart and very friendly though. We didn't choose the buffet . it looked very unimpressive and very standard. (Minimal salad choices basic pasta choices and standard pizza) it wasn't very expensive though and it might be a good choice if you had teenage boys to feed The Caesar salad's were fairly rudimentary. My husband did enjoy his steak. The vegetables were frozen, not fresh. My spaghetti and meatballs however was not good at all. The noodles were not drain properly and so there was a puddle of water on the bottom of the plate. The sauce was either not made with ripe tomatoes or was Jared or canned sauce so it was a little bit sour and did not taste like it had been simmered for a long time as most true italian sauces are. And if my parmesan had ever showed up it probably would've made a big difference in the sourness of the sauce. So yes, sometimes the servers can make or break the meal. And we both agreed that the tiny meatballs had the flavor and consistency of frozen. The meat was so finely ground you could not distinguish it as meat. they were a consistent grayish brown color and not browned on the outside. They had every appearance of having been microwaved. This is going to sound harsh but you have no right calling yourself an Italian restaurant of any sort if you can't even make a passible plate of spaghetti read more

The food is always consistently delicious!! They never fail me. One time, I didn't realize the difference between the garlic chicken Alfredo and the regular Chicken Alfredo and specially requesting to add garlic. So, when I received my order I was shocked to get a different order then I usually order (because I did always order the Normal Chicken Alfredo then requested to add garlic). They happily remade my order and shared with me the difference on how to order it. They were so professional and friendly. I enjoy going here for date night, for lunch quick order for pick up, dinner drive up, and dine in with my family or friends. It was suggested to me in 2018 and I haven't been let down to date. My wife and I brought the kids here and we will definitely be coming back! The staff was very nice and attentive. The portions were great, the prices were right, and in general, all the food was delicious. We had fried zucchini as an appetizer and they were great. I ordered the Seafood Manicotti and it was fantastic. I've sort of become a shrimp snob after I purchased an immersion circulator (Sous Vide) and their shrimp was cooked perfect. My wife ordered the Frutti Di Mare and she said it was good but she would have preferred if it had more sauce. My son ordered an adult spaghetti and meat sauce. He said it was ok, but different than he was use to (totally normal kid behavior lol). I tasted it and it did lack some flavor, but think that's true of just about every meat sauce spaghetti from a restaurant I've ever tried. I prefer a more saucy spaghetti, and this was more meat than sauce (which I imagine is normal given the name). The only complaint I would have is the Cesar salads were not impressive at all. They didn't have much flavor and the didn't even have shredded Parmesan cheese on them. Overall, we'll be coming back. We look forward to trying the other dishes that looked so great on the menu. read more

Our server this evening, Destiny, was very kind and observant. When our lemonade (or bread) ran low, she refilled it. She kept an eye on our table and was available anytime we needed something. We thought Destiny must have been a seasoned server, so we were surprised to hear that she's only been there three weeks. The chicken & garlic pizza was delicious! The thin crust was cooked to perfection and generously loaded with cheese and other toppings. My son-in-law was disappointed that the cheese sticks weren't the flat homemade appetizers that he remembered from years ago. At first, when walking up I thought it might be just some quaint, nothing special, kinda joint. I shouldn't have passed judgment so quickly. This restaurant has an extremely clean interior and a very friendly staff. Debra was our waitress and she was just so polite and pleasant. My drink was always full and she packaged my to-go food for me. She also put my soda in a to-go cup, without ice and with a lemon wedge! The whole meal I had my Dr. Pepper with no ice and a lemon, she even paid attention to that tiny detail when it was time for us to leave. This is true customer service. I was so impressed by her. I ordered the Shrimp Limone and it was just so delicately balanced; the right amount of sauce, shrimp, and noodle. In retrospect, the facade of the building isn't quaint or nothing special, it's humble. The garlic butter, the bread, the pasta, it's all worth the trip out. I will come back!
