All I can say is Wow! My wife and I decided to order pizza and thought it would be nice to try a different local restaurant. We ordered 2 small (11 in) pizzas, greek white and beef/mushroom/onion. They were both delicious. My wife, who doesn't like meat on her pizza, ate half of mine! The staff was very friendly and even offered to bring the pies to our car if we prefered. I am so moved by this location! My 72yo father lives on the lake outside of delivery range for any service or restaurant. He has been alone for weeks. We visit and say hi through the window but due to his health conditions have not been able to go inside. I have been pleading with him not to go into grocery stores but also know he has been living off of frozen meals for weeks. He loves the wings at Amici's and would be so cheered up to have them! The staff at this location was so kind and agreed to deliver him hot meals despite the distance. A HUGE thanks to this restaurant! You made my dad so happy (and also his worried daughter). Great restaurant, wonderful bar and great food. Highly recommend the braised beef egg rolls and braised beef sliders we great as well. They offer local brew "sweet water 420" on tap!!! We will be back, the owner came out and asked how it was and got thumbs up!!!! read more

Walked in on Thursday night to see 7-8 people at a 12 person Bar. Dirty dishes and finished food all over the bar. Old drink glasses everywhere. I sit for 5-8 minutes waiting to get a drink and order some wings. No one out of 5-6 people they walked within 2 feet of me made eye contact or spoke. Then one girl sits down a pair of 3 foot tall stacks of dirty pint glasses right in front of me. Disgusting. I should have taken a pic of all the old food dishes and empty to go boxes with chicken bones all around. It looked like a college dorm. Glad I'm not the owner, relying on obviously terrible management to keep a Restaurant paying its own bills in a seasonal lake town. I don't miss those days! read more

Absolutely the worst service we have ever experienced!!!! I have never reviewed anything on here but let me tell you. When I walk in a restaurant and I'm seated immediately then wait over an hour and a half for two kids meals a philly and 5 boneless wings that's absolutely unacceptable. Good pizza terrible customer service. Ordered a pizza to go and it wasn't ready when I arrived early . I decided to wait at the bar. No one offered me a drink let alone a glass of water while I waited. Two waitresses and the bartender stood directly next to me and talked about the bartender hitting a deer with her car. Just went to the Lake Oconee location and was just as displeased as always. New location but same bad service. Slow to make pizza, no toppings to speak of on our small pie. Amici has been around a long time but this location carries on the tradition of slow bad service as all the others. read more

Dinner last night led to an all-night event of stomach issues. Definitely food poisoning and won't go back. So disappointing.

If you decide to eat here stick with the pizzas or sandwiches. I ordered an Amici small Caesar Salad. Though it was good it is the farthest thing from a Caesar Salad. It came with Calamata Olives that were slimy and mushy along with a Garlic Knot that was nothing more than a overcooked wad of dough with no flavor. We ordered the Alfredo with grilled chicken which is advertised as made to order. Interesting enough the salad came out less than 5 minutes after placing our order then 5 minutes later out comes our "made to order" Alfredo which the pasta and chicken were overcooked like the dried out garlic knots that came with the meal. The Alfredo was served just a few degrees above luke warm. The only time we saw our waitress April was when she took our order delivered our drinks and brought us the bill.
