Our group of 5 went in for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon. We were greeted right away and seated. When we arrived it was fairly empty but later several tables filled up. Open, lots of natural light and nice decor. Bryanna out server came right over and took drink orders while we decided on appetizers. We opted for the fried calamari and the spinach/artichoke dip. Calamari was perfectly cooked. The dip was not as thick as I normally see but both items very tasty. Entrees were also well made. These are lunch portions pictured which no one was able to finish. lol. Dishes were well seasoned, pasta al dente and delicious overall. Service was great. Bryanna checked on us often, was very efficient and offered dessert even though we were unable to partake. We all had leftovers to take home. A new place for me , I came here to meet my daughter who lives in Gainesville and wanted something Italian so our first time here. Quaint, nice ambience service was fantastic. Menu was very Italian, some traditional dishes I'm sure to the owner as well as they were red sauce, which is standard on mini dishes. . This is sangria only so no beer or liquor, which was a little disappointing but does not affect the review. I survived and got a beer later.!! We all ordered with the mixture of pizza to my chicken pasta, tortellini, and shrimp fettuccine. All were well-made, the pizza really stood out with a great crust and flavor. My chicken presented well but was really lacking seasoning but nothing a little salt and pepper didn't correct. Shrimp fettuccine also seem to lack seasoning, but I tend to look for a little more aggressive seasoning before tasting.. Plates were nice portions, even had to get two to go boxes, including half the pizza which we enjoy later.. if you're looking for Italian, this was very good. New place for me. Right next to brewery. Staff is friendly and efficient. They really made me feel welcomed and appreciated. All the food coming out of the kitchen looks scrumptious. Looking for good local pizza restaurant , we came across this restaurant. Walked in and was able to get seated right away. We ordered two appetizers, cheesy bread and sweet potato fries. The cheese bread looked delicious but the fries were a little under cooked but the portions were perfect. Our main dishes were very good. It was difficult to find a parking spot since they shared the space with another business. The atmosphere was pleasant and the lighting was good. Vendetti's was recommended to us and we are glad we checked them out! We came in for lunch with a party of 15. Our party ordered a variety of dishes from pizza, salads, sandwiches, and pasta entrees. Everyone loved it. Garlic knots were incredible. The marinara sauce was delicious. Had a medium margarita pizza and it was great. Love the crust , nice chew to it cooked perfectly. The service was ok at best. The food was not hot or tasty. The place feels like it should be fast food not a restaurant.

Still the best pizza in town but while in NoFo yesterday, the menu asked how I would like my pizza cooked??? Since there should only be one way, how about the right way? One option was some dopey home style, whatever that is, and the other option was well done. We checked neither and received a pizza that was undercooked. It still tasted good but please give your pizza a look before serving it to the customer. If you don't know what it is supposed to look like, do some research. This isn't splitting the atom. read more

We were in this area camping and I met up with some of my family that lives here. After an afternoon of catching up we decided to have supper while we were in town. So, upon our family's recommendation, we all went to Vendetti's. Like I said, we'd been at it all afternoon and were HUNGRY!!! We were seated promptly, orders taken when we were ready and we were eating in a short time. Some of us had pasta dishes with others having various types of pizza. I chose the Lasagna! NONE were disappointed! The food was delicious and plentiful - to go boxes were used for the majority of us - but not me - I finished mine. The service was both professional and pleasant - the food wonderful and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will go there again when the opportunity presents itself again... At $6 a slice for stale pizza why am I being asked to tip the to go person?? Tipping is getting out of control, everyone is asking for a dollar here and there and for what?? The to go person did nothing more for me than the to go person at dominos... they don't have a tip jar. It's tacky as a business and awkward to put this on your customers. I ordered 5 slices of pizza, everything was stale and cold AND the order was wrong. Back to dominos next week! read more

This is review for Mall of Georgia location: wow!! May have found our go-to place in Buford! Wife had Victorian Spaghetti and I had Ruben. Ruben isn't as good as Jason's Deli but meat was tender and did the job. Had side salads too. Highly recommend side salads, packed full of stuff just not lettuce like most restaurants, they are not taking shortcuts and dressing was tasty. Wife was impressed with spaghetti, it was packed full of flavor. Can't wait to come back!!! read more

We had such a great lunch at Vendetti's. This was the second time I've had chicken Parmesan from there and it's just so good. I thought I'd try something new, but..... I have tasted of their eggplant Parmesan. It was good, but I love the chicken. The lasagna was really good and their house salad is so fresh. The beautiful, but very very mild, garlic rolls are best when eaten there. Don't try to take them home. They lose a lot of flavor and texture. My wife and I had dinner there tonight after recommendations form friends. Food was excellent, reasonably priced and the service was just as good. The problem I had was that my wife's 2 glasses of wine (about a 7 oz pour) was 28.00!! Almost as much as out 2 entree's combined. We enjoy a glass of wine with dinner---especially Italian dinners, but the grossly overpriced wine will make us think twice about our dinning out choices. Gainesville downtown has many excellent dining options. We will be choosing to spend our retirement dollars for good food AND good value. Sorry, we won't be back. read more

This is the best pizza in Gainesville. Period. The sauce and cheese combination is spectacular and the crust is the perfect thickness and crispness. It is a plus that they have other Italian dishes as well. I lived in Manhattan for over 3 years and I am a bit of a pizzaholic. This is as good as any I had there. I also spent over 3 years in Boston and Pizzareia Regina on Boston's North Side, which has been there for decades is similar. It would be nice if ordering a beer wasn't so difficult. read more
