I had to take a minute to review Creative Smiles after going there for the first time this week. From start to finish, everyone here has been truly professional, helpful, and kind. The clinicians were all very informative and professional, and I never felt like I was being sold on vanity treatments. The dentist who treated me was very kind, and very clearly good at what she does. The staff here is great! My favorite people are Jose the surgical tech he's such a nice person and makes you feel comfortable even when your nervous! He tells you step by step what will be done and how it will feel and that really helps calm my nerves. Dr Shah is such a great dr and had a great humor you will forget you are in a dentist office ! I searched for a good, but inexpensive implant for one tooth. My dentist has recommended that I should have an implant. After a second thought, I started searching and Creative Smiles came up with nice attraction, good price that I liked. I was extremely nervous when I came in for part one of the implant. A dental assistant and an angle hand dentist helped me going through the numb, the drill and the insert of the implant so smoothly and professionally. We came here for the first time today for our family of 4 to have our teeth cleaned. We have a new policy and insurance was being a real pain. Vanessa at the front desk was extremely helpful and patient getting through to our insurance company (took over an hour on the phone) and she handled everything. This place is horrible. I had to leave my original dentist because of insurance change. I went for a cleaning which was OK, but within the last month I had some sensitivity to my front tooth. So I went in thinking it would simple fix, then they told me I need a ROOT CANAL. I was devastated. I was overwhelmed and they kept pushing the urgency of making the $100 deposit to hold my appointment which is not refundable if you cancel the appointment. Luckily I didn't pay and got a second opinion at my original dentist, OC dental. There is no infection or whole in my tooth, it's my gums and spacing of my teeth. which means more frequent cleanings and more work at home. I just saved myself $400. people are so shady. Definitely don't trust them. read more

Very Very Very awesome dentist. I haven't been to the dentist in 3+ years and quite frankly I was terrified of even coming, but I really needed the work done. I'm glad I called 1-800-dentist and I'm glad I got connected to Dr. Shah. One of the kindest doctors I know. I don't have medical insurance, so he set me up with a monthly payment plan and even gave me several discounts. Overall I would recommend him in all the locations that he has. Squirming in the dentist's chair as the hygenist painfully poked and prodded around my mouth in order to check the pockets around my gums, I contemplated how I would Yelp my review for what I consider the worst visit to the dentist of my life. Ok maybe I'm adding a little drama-queenness to it, but I have been going to the dentist ever since I can remember and unlike those who shudder at the mention of "dentist," it's actually an experience that I enjoy. This was, however, quite the opposite. My initial appointment (also my first with this dental office) was supposed to consist of a series of x-rays and general cleaning, The x-rays, albeit a pain in the you-know-where (bite down on film.. really??), went ok. But afterwards the dentist comes in and tries to upgrade me to a deep cleaning, complete with my gums being numbed with a needle! I don't do needles whatsoever, so I tell him that if there is any procedure that involves a needle, I don't want it. Dr. then suggests that the hygenist can use topical gel. That's better. When it's discovered that my insurance will not cover the deep cleaning, I am informed that the hygenist is not in and I will have to make another appointment. Can you say, things that make you go hmm? Part 2. I return a week later for my general cleaning, arriving about five minutes before the scheduled appointment. I sign in and wait. And wait. And wait some more. Keep in mind that I went in the morning and there was only one other patient. After more than 15 minutes, the hygenist calls me in and proceeds to check my pockets (or whatever it's called). This is a regular occurrence at a dental check-up, but this time it was extra painful. I had to stop the hygenist at one point and ask for more topical gel for my gums. Even then I continued to squirm in my chair. It really seemed like she didn't care. The only positive outcome of this visit was that I got my teeth cleaned, am cavity-free, and will never come back here again. read more

Went to this place for a routine cleaning. The office décor is very nice and up to date, but that is the only good thing I have to say about this place. My appointment was at 4pm and I didn't leave the office until 2 hours later. I sat in the chair for an hour and a half before I asked someone when I would be helped. They tried telling me I needed a full mouth irrigation which was totally unnecessary. They hygienist finally came in to clean my teeth and she was done in less than 10 minutes. Unbelievable! She ran her drill along the gums of my teeth AND THAT WAS IT!! She never bothered to scrape any of the tartar off of my teeth, nothing! I honestly don't know how these people stay in business or how anyone can give them a good review. I will never go back here and will discourage anyone from going here. read more

Where should I start, or lack of. I had to pick a dentist for my new job for open enrollment and boy did I make a big mistake. To cut it short, if you have to waste and don't really care about professionalism. This is your place. I thought I was at a car dealership. All they do is waste your time and up sell. Dental offices being open on Saturdays is almost unheard of. Being open on a 3day weekend, Memorial Day weekend, is more shocking than anything. I didn't think I would need to see a dentist or that my minor tooth ache would turn into an emergency requiring immediate attention but it did, late Friday night at the beginning of the lif 3 day weekend. Thank you for being there and being open. This staff treated me like they had known me for years. They didn't just give me antibiotics and pain pills to get me through the weekend. They did what had to be done immediately and made me comfortable through the entire procedure. I had a tooth extracted and it was easy because of this amazing dentist and staff. Thank you. Ive been searching for a dentist for the past year. Every time I would step in their office the entire staff would make me feel so uncomfortable. From day 1 at creative smiles I've felt their concern and notably their compassion. Everyone here has been absolutely fabulous. The girls at the front desk are very knowledgeable and friendly. Tara has answered every question and concern for me. The hygienists (Veronica?) was so very sweet and made decisions that actually saved me money, when she most certainly could have performed a procedure that wasn't needed. Ricky... I think is considered a dental technician and is so nice and caring and funny. He made me feel like I have a friend. With every visit he is always smiling and helps you get relaxed. I've had the pleasure of working with 3 dentists at the office. Dr. Shah, is very patient and not pushy. He answers all my questions and has made me feel so comfortable about my procedure. The man is gentle, he has done 2 IV sedations on me and takes his time. IVs in the hand can hurt, however he has never hurt me once. There are two other dentist there with the last name Patel and both are amazing and gentle. And please forgive me for not remembering both of your first names. T. Patel has been my main dentist. He has taken so much time to explain my options thoroughly. He is very gentle and such a good heart. Im in the process of receiving full dentures top and bottom. This has been needed for so long. I feel that I'm in good.. great.. no wait... excellent hands with all the staff there. I actually look forward to my visits. If you are going in for dentures rest assured that you will receive the best care. As for adjustments on the dentures there is a dental lab upstairs. Tony has been there to help me make adjustments to be as comfortable as possible. I will never go to any other dentist office. As long as creative smiles is there, they have a customer for life. read more

I have been shopping around for a good dentist who does implants in their office. I had a bad experience with my prior implant so I needed options. Many dentists send their patients to specialists and I didn't want to go that route. I was recommended by a friend to try Dr. Shah who does everything right there in his office and I am very happy I did. I called and got in that same day. When I arrived I didn't have to wait to be seen. They have a very high tech office and I was impressed by the technology. Dr. Shah came in and I was looking at my X-rays maybe 15 minutes after I walked in the door. Not only was he the most reasonably priced, but he also took time to answer all of my questions. I decided to move forward that same evening and I couldn't believe how easy it was. My tooth was out! I walked out of there with my new implant and recovery so far has been great! Dr. Shah literally changed my life!! I haven't been to the dentist in years out of fear from a childhood experience. My mom (who's just as terrified as I am) found this place and told Dr. Shah about my situation. My mom raved about the entire staff and her experience so naturally I gave them a shot (momma knows best). I had a pretty good size chip on my front tooth that was fixed on my first visit with zero pain. I also had massive decay on a bunch of teeth which literally prevented me from smiling. A few weeks have gone by since my first visit and I gotta say, I can NOT stop smiling!! Everyone in this practice is top notch. I fully trust them with my teeth and could not be happier. it's difficult to rave about someone or something that probes and picks your gums and drills into your teeth... lol. But I went about 3 weeks ago and I had a very pleasant experience. I appreciated everything from the professionalism, high end technology, their massage dental chair and in particular the friendly attentive front desk staff. :) Their office has a very modern look and feel that puts you in a calm, serene state. I LOVE this office! It is very rare that I would recommend anything to anyone let alone a dentist office. Whenever someone mentions the dreaded dentist office I have to pop up and mention Creative Smiles! I was amazed the first time going here that they had not only a very clean and welcoming atmosphere, there were massage chairs and flat screen TV's with remotes in the room. Even though the wait is short, nothing beats watching what you want to on TV. Everyone is the office is so polite and remember you. The staff is able to answer all of my questions (I have a lot) and do not brush you off like most doctors tend to do. I even referred a coworker of mine and she is very picky.... she LOVED the place! ANNND my favorite part- they remind me when my appointment is coming up via text message! I will continue recommending this office. By far the best dentist I have been to! read more

I don't normally write reviews, yet this time I feel I was misled by other reviews. The office looked clean, and for a second I felt like the staff really cared about my questions and concerns. Well to make a long story short, I had gone in for a cleaning, and checkup, and by the end of the consultation, I was being charged over $500. They suggested that I get some special mouth guard worth about $275, (I'd rather get a mouthpiece for about $1 or $2), and some "irrigation" for my gum line. I think I got ripped off for $65 because I believe that the "irrigation" was simply mouthwash in a syringe being sprayed on my gums. I had also mentioned that my lower gums were a little sensitive, (which they seemingly ignored) and they proceeded with the teeth cleaning. This was a little rough, yet I believe if they would have put a topical anesthetic, it would have been a little more pleasant. Yes they had special massaging chairs, yes the office was clean, yet I don't believe that I will be going back. read more

I visited Creative Smiles for an implant consultation and a loose implant. The friendly staff greeted me at a clean, modern and well equipped office which included a CT scan. Dr. Amit Shah and his team were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Shah diagnosed my loose implant for removal due to a broken screw. He then stayed "after hours" on a Saturday to remove the implant pain free, which was impressive. His recommendation for two crowns instead of two implants will same me money and two teeth. You can trust Dr. Amit Shah to provide quality work! I would recommend Creative Smiles to all. read more
