I've been living here for about eight months and overall, the community is great. I love it! Just wish it was in a better area. However, I work very close by so this is the perfect spot for me. You really get what you pay for. I know the rent and amenities here are overly pricey but the quality of everything seems better as compared to other places I've lived. There are some fun events that the staff plan out for everyone. Staff in general are decent and nice. The only thing that I dislike a lot is the parking situation. They just released a new parking app to try and accommodate this but even then, parking for guests are limited and all the way at the top of the parking garage so you have to go through horrible bumps all the way up and back down when you leave. read more

My husband and I moved into this beautiful apartment complex in October and have no regrets! We were leary since we hadn't lived in apartment building in 30 years, but we have been impressed at the whole experience. First, the leasing office... Amazing! Cambron, Tiffany, Jessica, Jeremiah and Crystal are like your friends, ready to help you with anything! Next, the building and amenities are modern, beautiful, and comfortable. We seldom hear neighbors and love the urban location. And finally, we really have to commend the maintenance team here! This community is amazing! The amenities include everything you can think of but aren't over the top. It's still a place you can call home. The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming to their new residents. They put in events for the whole community to enjoy the wonderful features AMLI has to offer. Where do I even start with all the good things that I have to say about this place? For starters, I moved to OC from Wisconsin. The moving process is stressful the way it is, and finding the right apartment was a nightmare. All of the places I found online had all sorts of crazy issues listed on their online reviews. Then I stumbled across AMLI Uptown Orange, and gawked at their ratings. Let me tell you, the hype is real! My brother previously had AMLI as his management company in the Dallas area, and had great things to say about them. So I took his recommendation, and toured the property the end of March. From the moment I set foot on the property, I know this was home. I had the pleasure of dealing with Jeremiah almost throughout the entire process. I also dealt with Tiffany in the leasing part of things, and she was very responsive and helpful as well. Let's start with the location: Right across the street from the Orange Outlets (aka "The Block"). It's fun just to be able to walk across the street whenever I want and browse around. It's also just minutes from major stores such as Best Buy, Target, Vons, etc....and fast food such as Wendy's, Starbucks, and Rubios. You can literally walk a couple minutes and be to these places. There's super easy freeway access to the 5, 57, and 22. When reading this, you might question the noise level around the area. Let me assure you, it's super quiet! I love sitting on my porch overlooking the courtyard at night. I don't hear anything at all from outside. Lastly, you're right near the border of Garden Grove, Anaheim, and Santa Ana. Lots of options for food and entertainment. I'm a huge fan of the Bauhaus style design of the exterior, and modern interiors. Everyone that I know that has seen it has commented how amazing it is. The in-unit washer/dryer are a blessing, as well as the secured garage parking. So many apartments don't have this, and it really takes a load off your mind knowing your car is safe, and not sitting outside overnight. Speaking of which, this is a safe area in general! I also enjoy using the workout room, and the amazing pool here. For those of you that like to grill, there are plenty of gas grills throughout the property, and even many outdoor fireplaces to sit and enjoy time with friends. I would also like to give a shout out to the amazing maintenance team. Any time I've had a request, they come pretty much the same day within hours to help out. Speaking of which, AMLI has an app where you can submit the requests on from your phone. Super convenient! The maintenance team is friendly and polite, and they keep the entire property looking top-notch at all times. I'm so happy here, and I couldn't ask for anything more at this property. On top of it, I am so fortunate to have Jeremiah Dover as the property manager. I've never experienced a manager that was so plugged into his community, and attentive to his residents. He always takes care of even the tiniest issues, and makes sure to check in with people to see how things are going. I've talked to other residents, and have even overheard one of them complimenting him about his service directly. In my experience, he always makes sure everything is 110%. I have moved more than a dozen times in the past decade due to my husbands job and all of them into rentals except for one. I have come to loath moving for many different reasons. Not this time! From the moment Cambron called to make an appointment for me to view the complex to the signing of my rental agreement has been nothing short of exciting. The complex is brand new. When I say brand new, it's so new they were still doing construction on the building I toured and I had to wear a hard hat. I actually watched them working on the apartment I would eventually decide on (many great floor plans). Cambron took his time with me, gave me options and listed the features and amenities of the property. He did it so well I wanted to live there and I had yet to pick a floor plan. My move in is set for a month from now and I can hardly wait. Cambron and the AMLI leasing team are fantastic. Head and shoulders above any experience I've ever had in dealing with a rental property. I moved here from Texas in March 2018 with my girlfriend, and it has been such a great experience overall. Jessica King has made the transition from out of state so easy on us and I am personally saddened that she will be moving on to another AMLI community. If you are hesitant about the price, I can assure you that what you are spending is absolutely worth it in terms of amenities and quality. Moved here from MN a little over a month ago and have so far been very happy. The apartments are nice and well maintained, service requests are promptly fulfilled, the pool area is amazing, 2 assigned parking spots, etc. My biggest complaint is noise from upstairs. I know I have to expect a little bit of noise, but it's excessive. It sounds like they run back and forth stomping their feet for hours at a time. I'm not sure if it's due to poor soundproofing in the building or if they are just excessively noisy, but it's loud enough to scare my 1 year old and make for some long nights. read more

Disclaimer: This review is from someone who visited AMLI Uptown Orange, NOT someon who currently resides here. A few days a go, my partner and I decided to check out AMLI Uptown Orange. As frequent visitors of the Dave and Busters at the outlets next door, we have watched the construction of this apartment complex. From the outside it is one of the most beautiful complexes in the area. Being that we are currently on the market for a new place, we decided to check this complex out. From the exterior the apartment complex boasts clean and sharp lines with pops of color that make the outside incredibly aesthetically pleasing. It definitely has an air of luxury about it. As we entered the leasing office, we were greeted by a leasing agent named Crystal. She was incredibly friendly, informative, and helpful. We asked to see both one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. As there are around six different floorplans for each size apartment, we opted to see 3 configurations of each. Each apartment that we explored had tall ceilings, beautiful cabinetry, and continued to exude the luxurious sentiment that begin with the building's exterior. All of the apartments come with stainless steel appliances, are LEEDS certified, come with soaking tubs, and have the NEST thermostat system which enables you to control your thermostat remotely. Some of the apartments near the pool even come with your own personal barbecue. As if this is not upscale enough, the complex has a relationship with the hotel next door which allows residents of the complex to receive room service. Pet grooming and laundry services are also available. Each one bedroom apartment comes with one parking spot while the two bedroom apartments come with two parking spots. There is additional parking available at a fee of around $125-$150 I believe. In addition, there are a range of amenities available to residents including a pool, gym, community room, conference room, and media room. The last three are available on a first come first serve basis, however they can also be rented out. This is definitely the best apartment complex that we have seen in the area. We have been talking about it since we visited. I definitely look forward to being a resident at this apartment complex. read more

All of the staff is very friendly and the residents are respectful and not too loud. The pool is nice and they have a lot of outdoor seating and amenities. My husband and I moved here in April. It was an easy choice for us, coming from AMLI in Woodland Hills. When we heard Cambron had changed offices here too (he was the reason why we choose AMLI in Woodland Hills in the first place), it was a no brainer to see the apartments. Right when I couldn't think my apartment amenities could get any better, AMLI steps up and knocks it out of the park. Aside from the AMAZING service Cambron delivers our apartment has top of the line stainless steel appliances, hard wood floors, storage closet on your patio and NEST thermostat control but they also have these extras: - 24 hour gym - salt water pool - pet friendly - social hub for free drinks and snacks twice a month - media room - 24 hour coffee and hot coco machine with Starbucks coffee - cabana's with TVs and bbq grills - onsite dog grooming - onsite car washing - community events every month where food, drinks and entertainment is provided - package room for all your deliveries safely kept and can be delivered when you are not home - outside fire pits, TVs, lounging areas with tables and BBQ areas - food truck options twice a month - same day or 24 hour maintenance - close to Outlets at Orange - gated community When I talk about the customer service that EVERYONE in the office delivers, it doesn't say much. So let me give you a couple examples. The day we moved in, Cambron made it a point to stick around and delay his lunch (as we were running behind schedule) so that he could be there to greet us and hand us our key. When I asked maintenance about the scratch marks on our white counters and explained how it was so hard to get them out, he provided me a bottle of this magical cleaner that wipes away scuff marks. We had some issues with a delay in our move in date. AMLI not only accommodated us in multiple ways, but they somehow turned a really negative experience into a positive one. It's the little things like this that distinguishes a good living environment to an exceptional one. I couldn't be more happy with where we live and more importantly who lives around me!!!! read more

I put in a service request late last night (11:30pm) for my AC that stopped blowing cold air and there was a knock on my door at 9am with the maintenance man just READY to knock out the issue. He had it fixed within thirty minutes by recharging my unit and back to blowing cold air! Seriously, the couple things that have gone wrong with normal wear and tear were fixed either same day or the following morning. Such a great complex to be apart of! read more

Just moved into my new apartment. The building is centrally located near 3 different freeways and between UCI and the outlet stores at Orange. Downtown Orange restaurants are a short drive away. The leasing team is amazing - Jeremiah, Crystal, Tiffany, Cambron, Jessica. They genuinely care about people and it shows in their actions. I visited at least a couple of times before I decided upon the unit. Cambron patiently helped me thru the decision process when I wasn't sure. Every question was answered with personal insights. The customer service here is second to none. All service requests are promptly acted upon. The building is secure. There's a pick up and drop off dry cleaning service. There's an auto spa that comes in on Saturdays. Food trucks every now and then....If you are looking for an apartment in this area, I highly recommend this location and team. read more

Having lived at two other AMLI properties over the last couple of years (Camarillo and Woodland Hills), I was so happy to take a job back home in the OC and switch here without breaking my lease! AMLI was really flexible about helping me move so my career could grow and I could come back home. AMLI staff across the board are amazing. Jessica first worked at the Camarillo property and came to this location when it opened, and was a welcome face to greet me when I moved back here. I have to admit, I was pretty nervous when she and Crystal both got promoted and left the leasing office, but Leo and Bryan really are amazing to work with--just as friendly, kind, fun, efficient and professional. It seems AMLI really puts people first as a core value. I truly appreciate how quickly Leo and Bryan respond to resident messages and seem to make all 400+ residents here feel special. I'm not really good with writing reviews . But I just wanna say so far, all of the staff here are treating my family as their own family. If we need anything fixed in our unit they always there to help most of the time same day they'll fix it for you even though the crew are busy they'll make sure they can adress the issue in your unit. Leo , Bryan and tiffany are the best! They're always to the rescue! If you need to tour the community please look for them and I can vouch they'll make you feel at home! Ron and everyone from the maintenance crew will take care of you too sometimes even though they're about to go home but you need their help, they will clock out and still help you!! The location is excellent, Across the hospital, shopping center and very close to christ cathedral! Thank you guys for taking care of us!!! Oh and we have foodtruck every Wednesday! It was unpleasant to see a dog swimming in the pool on Sunday night and even I shout them to get it out, the dog remained there in that area that is forbidden for pets. It is not possible that rules exist and nobody respects them, the same thing always happens in this place. They demand as if someone from the office were actually on the lookout. Every day it is disappointing to live here, and, yes I will move out soon. Money does not do education. So not everything is beautiful in AMLI. read more

Upon arriving at AMLI Uptown Orange my wife met Cambron Smith who made her feel welcome, answered all of her questions and encouraged her to shop other properties in the area confident in the value proposition AMLI provided for our wants and needs. He was right! He later showed me the property and answered my questions. A great experience. Unfortunately, when I came in the next day to drop off paperwork he was off. I fully expected to be brushed off until he returned but NOOOOO... AMLI doesn't do that! Jessica King was in the office and she took care of all of the paperwork and contract even though I wasn't officially her client! Great teamwork and she made me feel just as welcome. I stumbled upon an informational ad on Craigslist regarding AMLI Uptown Orange. When I looked at the pictures, I already knew I wanted to live here. I made an appointment the same evening for the next morning. Jessica called me to confirm our morning appointment early the same morning which was nice. When I met her, she was kind, professional, and very thorough and attentive. I had a ton of questions and she answered all of them for me. I told her my current living situation was less than ideal and she totally sympathized with me and listened to all my concerns. She was patient and helpful. I really enjoyed the tour of the property and Jessica showed me about 4-5 different floor plans. She did an excellent job accommodating my needs based on my career as a night shift nurse. She matched my specific criteria to the best apartment on the property for me-top floor, outside facing, west-facing where sun doesn't enter as much during day, quiet, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, etc. She mentioned I should even have a view of the Disneyland fireworks from my balcony at night. What's more, the next day I wanted to come back with my girlfriend/work colleague and view the apartment one more time before committing to get a second opinion. Jessica was beyond accommodating and took us upstairs again to view the apartment once more. I also forgot to take pictures the first time so this was a great opportunity to get some photos of the place (I was probably too excited the first time around). She was also very careful in making sure we were safe before going upstairs by asking us to wear hard hats since the property is under construction still. I didn't feel rushed at all during this whole experience. This is my very first solo apartment experience paired with a very new and exciting career and I am so glad I stumbled upon AMLI Uptown Orange that night. My move in date is in less than a month and it cannot come sooner. I think I am really going to enjoy living here and all that the property has to offer. read more

Since I moved to AMLI Uptown Orange it has been such an amazing community for myself and my two dogs. The building itself is modern, updated and has a lot of thought into every detail. The apartments are large, very accommodating and have attractive finishes to really give that luxury feel. I absolutely love the top of the line amenities from the gym and social hub to the junior Olympic pool surrounded by lounging cabanas with TVs. The summers are absolutely to die for with the outdoor spaces, games and bbqs to invite over your family and friends for an incredible time. However, the most important attribute of Uptown is hands down the incredible staff. They go above and beyond to make residents feel appreciated and important which I find so rare in apartment communities as most are so concentrated on the next potential tenant. Special shoutout to Tiffany, Mark, Leo, Jessica, Crystal and Bryan of the leasing staff for always going above and beyond for the community. As well as the incredible building staff Jose L, Jose J, Ronnie and Silvia that make it their mission to provide prompt service to the units and building and make sure we are completely satisfied with the work. I had intensive work that needed to be done on my unit at no fault of AMLI and Jose J fixed it to better than original condition the same morning I put in the request through the app. His professional and timely manner really made me thankful for the support AMLI staff gives to their residents.
