    21. The NFPC with a fried chicken cutlet instead of grilled
    Ryan K.

After spending the afternoon at Harbe's farm we opted to try this place for something quick to eat. The menu was more extensive than I thought and I finally opted for the NFCP but got fried chicken cutlet instead of grilled chicken because I'm on a fitness journey. I have to say it was blown away with how good the sandwich wise. I was tempted to buy another one before leaving since I don't live anywhere near the area, but decided to try some ice cream instead. Next time we come out east I will definitely be back and definitely be taking a sandwich to go this time.

Nice little sandwich shop in Mattituck. We hit this place before going to a couple wineries nearby. The woman behind the counter was quite nice and told us about her few favorite sandwiches. We ordered fries, the game day, and Charlie's brother in law. Everything was tasty and fresh. The game day was delicious but could have used more sauce and honestly a little less chicken. Charlie's brother in law was perfect. Nice and lite. Fries had great seasoning/batter but unfortunately stuck together a bit. Will return!

Huge shoutout to Chewy, Greg, and the team at Ammirati's for making delicious sandwiches and salads. Ammirati's is one of the places my family looks forward to each summer on their annual trip to Mattituck. The house salad dressing is excellent!! As are the lobster BLTs, grilled chicken wraps, and Gorgonzola salads. Service is prompt, friendly, and efficient. Would give 10 stars if I could! Congratulations on your 10 year anniversary!

Great little store front on Love Lane.

Fabulous list of sandwiches . If you order one a day it will take a month to go thru the list. Overfilled , sharable delicious sandwiches. If you on love lane, you've got to stop in. Also nice outdoor seating in the back.

OMG. Sooo good. I had the Love Lane Pig. Great flavor with spinach and arugula. My husband had the Death Wish. The meat tender and juicy. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Picture this: You're on the North Fork and you're hungry. There's no reason to go to a restaurant, your busy! You want something to grab and go but not fast food. Enter Ammirati's. Ammirati's is a casual style eatery that is grilling up some outrageous looking items. It's not a deli but they're cooking up deli like foods. Are you feelin' me Yelper? I had to pick up a cake out east and my wife would like breakfast. My wife & breakfast items is a challenge. She doesn't eat any carbs or whole eggs. Coffee and a muffin? Out. Pancakes? No bueno. Now a BEC? Egg whites are fine. Boom goes the dynamite. For me?? I have a hunger, I want my Long Island breakfast of champions: The ubiquitous Egg on a roll but today I'm going to mix it up. Sausage, lightly scrambled eggs with salt, pepper and ketchup. (Hey, I like ketchup on my scrambled eggs) Out food comes to us hot and fresh. Mmm mm! They have at least 20 different sandwiches on the board as well as funky salads. First time here, very impressed with Ammirati's. If you're driving by Love Lane, grab a spot on the street and have an egg sammy with your main squeeze. Let's not talk about a Hero with mayo to spilt with my wife. I love mayo... she doesn't. Happy Wife = Happy Life.

What a menu! This was our first time here and it was amazing. We were greeted by Ethel, who was such a sweetheart. There were so many sandwiches to choose from but I landed on the NFPC. It was SO good. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them. They have a nice outside patio for you to enjoy your food on too. Check it out!

Had the mezcal Paloma and my wife had the bees knees which were both created to absolute perfection. The Littles looked over the menu and were kinda ‍ but our waiter must speak kiddo and said that they have chicken fingers and other kid meals that they would be happy to make. Score!! We got the fried calamari for the table to start. Crispy, fresh and beautifully tender. Kids devoured them and almost took one of our fingers off for the last one. My wife had the summer risotto and made a request for grilled chicken on top which they were happy to do. I had the Greek farro salad with grilled chicken, again, after a day of wine tasting it was the protein I needed and lightness I was looking for. Chicken as a topper on both dishes was abundant . Our servers were attentive without being intrusive or trying to rush us out. Host was friendly and accommodating, even checked up on us as she escorted other diners to their table. QPR was right on point. All dishes were fresh, seasoned to perfection, creative utilizing what's local and what's in season and generously portioned. This place stays on my radar and will be frequented again and again when we're in town next. I wish more spots in CT were this creative with locally grown ingredients and still maintained an ambience of a friendly neighborhood bistro. Very welcoming place.

The pancakes were good, I believe there were three and they are large. I especially like they serve real maple syrup. The steak and eggs were ok. The steak was marinated in some sort of teriyaki sauce I believe. Our party did not enjoy the steak. But we loved the home fries and the side of bacon was cooked perfectly. I would like to go back here and try their lunch and/or dinner. I also want to mention we arrived at 8:15 and it was really crowded by 9. It was a nice place to eat.

The description of the restaurant, the menus and the reviews online made us to decide to give them a try. We're so glad that we did! We entered through the bar entrance which was lively but not crazy loud. There was a musician setting up in one corner of the bar area. We could hear him during our dinner but it was not at all distracting (and he was quite good). We were greeted by one of the hosts (who I now believe may be one of the owners). We were welcomed and escorted to a table in the dining room right behind the bar area. From what I could determine, there were at least two other dining areas and an outside dining area (for dining during the nicer weather). Our server quickly came to welcome us, ask if we had questions about the menu / specials and to take our drink order. She was attentive, pleasant and was able to quickly and accurately answer questions that we had (we have some dietary restrictions and needed to verify some ingredients. She knew immediately what we could order to dine safely. We started our order with the Chiccharon appetizer. I had anticipated that the item would be traditional crispy Chiccaron. Instead the dish was more of a pork belly in a broth. We actually enjoyed that much more! It was plentiful, cooked to perfection and flavorful. For dinner my wife and our friend ordered the sea bass special. They both thought it was plentiful, perfectly prepared and tasted great. I ordered the pork chop with spicy cherry peppers in a light evoo broth. I told our server that I wasn't eating potatoes or rice and asked for a recommendation for a substitute. She recommended the broccolini which was a perfect alternative. My pork chop was served perfectly (medium, juicy,) and was huge! We passed on dessert but the options looked amazing. We will absolutely be back again SOON. Thank you.

Truly, the cocktails and menu at this restaurant are so inventive and flavor packed it feels as if there has to be something supernatural happening in the kitchen and behind the bar. We came here in early May and sat at the bar. Dillon took great care of us, walked us through the menu and made stellar recommendations all around. After having my mind blown by the Everything Bagel Martini, we moved on to share the charred octopus and Leggy's Thighs. The charred octopus was tender, and paired so well with the citrus fruits on this plate, plus the bite of pistachios?! So well put together. Leggy's thighs (RIP Leggy) were literally the best chicken I'd ever had, fall off the bone tender and topped off with flavorful furikake and hot pickled fresno chilis. We also split the Wagyu sando which I'm literally still thinking about. Wagyu on milkbread?! What an excellent idea. Live acoustic music was going on the night we were here which really added to the cozy ambiance. They also have trivia here on Thursdays (Dillon, if you're reading this, we hope your team wins the championship). 10/10 no notes. Come here if you can get a table.

The waitress was rude and we felt as if we were bothering her by asking for a cup of coffee. At the end I asked for a plastic bag and the hostess was exteremly rude. She said No, we only have paper, and didn't get it for me until I asked again her for a paper bag. She then walked into the back, I followed, and talked about me as if I couldn't hear her, to her staff. It was so disrespectful, will NEVER go back. Good luck to them and their new way of doing things. Terrible service.
