The workers are rude. If you dont want to be in customer service dont be. My husband and I came here to buy ammo. First off, when we got inside the vibe was off. We walked around and felt all eyes on us. Big guy behind the counter asked us if we needed help. Asked him if they had 9mm ammo( maybe dumb question on my part but dont be rude af about it). We didnt flinch at the price because we know, we have bought bulk before. He looks at us like oh you really gonna buy this? Like is our money not good enough for you???? Or is it because we didnt look like your typical customer? Heading to the check out counter, my husband needs to use the restroom and asks the girl behind the counter. She is rude when she says its not for customers. Some places dont have restrooms for customers i get it. Again just dont be rude about it. He leaves to find a place to use a restroom. Im there standing at the counter waiting to pay and get the ammo. Literally standing there and none of the 3 people acknowledged me. One guy helps a customer then leaves when done because the girl told him to go on lunch/break. Now there are 2. Still standing there. No "are you ready to check out" or "can I help you?". Not until my husband comes back that they acknowledge me and willing to check me out. Im looking at the girl and she looking at me. We doing all this eye contact and you couldnt or wouldnt help ot acknowledge me? This was not a good experience. Teach your employees how to treat customers. read more

I payed for the Dros and the employee never started the process. So I waited 10 days and stopped by once it was supposed to be ready. The Idiot never even started the paper work. So I had to wait another ten days. Must of just been bad luck with an idiot employee. Also don't buy ammo there either it's over priced. Went in to check on ammo stock and some shotguns. First off, was never even greeted when i came in, not a good start. They had an ok selection of guns considering that no one has guns in stock right now. And there ammo stock was almost non existent as well. Walking around the store, most of there stock was very skimpy for a pretty large store. When my number came up, the kid helping me at the counter knew absolutely nothing and was completely useless in answering my questions. It would help to have knowledgable associates working there in order to sell guns. Next came the ammo....they actually had in 5.56 ammo!!! That's why I am giving them 1 star. It would really be a -1 star because they are charging an OUTRAGEOUS price for ammo. They are charging $18.99 a box. YES, I SAID $18.99 A BOX!!!!! Go to Turner's and they are charging $8.99 a box. I've been to three of these stores. What can I say, this place is run by "Richards." You get in line, then they get hostile because they have several taped lines on the floor some 14 feet from the register, and jump down your through about get behind the line! WTF! Is this prison lockup? Then again a lot of the staff seem to have a Napoleon complex, probably wannabes who never were but now act it out in a gunstore. They failed to understand that their lines on the floor obscure the glass cases with items people may want to purchase as well. Taking forever when there are only a handful of people in the store...seriously, there were more staff than customers. Even making eye contact and one left behind the counter, across the room to the backroom. The other seemed upset at finaly having to deal with a customer. Sorry for making you do your job bro. I had planned on getting your Kriss Vector and the FN-FAL clone you had... remember? But then you got too pushy and killed the sale. I bought them from the Anaheim store who seemed to actauly be interested in dealing with the customer. With the front end personel acting like jailer I just put the case of ammo and other stuff I had back and left. Bottom line, this store has terrible staff.....Riverside or Anaheim stores the staff are better. read more

Let me start by saying I came here when they first opened and if I was Yelping then I would have given it 2 stars, prices were a tad high for me. But these days are a different story. I had to pick up some ammo the other day and after finding empty shelves at Turners I came here. They had ammo and lots of it (I like that they have single shot reloads, cheap fun) and even let the guy in front if me slide on the 100 round limit (I think he only got 200, didn't clear the shelf), the prices are comparable to anywhere else.....if you can even find ammo. I was shocked to see AR lowers for $119!!!! Plenty of accessories, targets, and guns as well. Didn't really take inventory, I just skimmed the shelves (just went for ammo, was in a hurry). I was promptly helped, although it was early Tuesday afternoon, and there was about 8 customers and about 5 employees. Some don't like the 'cage' you walk into but I see no problem with it, as long as your not wearing a ski mask and holding a rifle you get buzzed right in. And to those screaming about the highway robbery prices, look up 'supply and demand' and realize that gun/ammo/accessory manufacturers have had to ramp up production (which costs more) to meet demand. But that's another rant for another place. read more

HUGE waste of time. Horrible gun shop. I walked in to buy some ammo and it was like they were doing me a favor to hand me the rounds from behind the counter after I waited for my number to be called. Then after 15 mins of waiting in line to pay (only 1 person ahead of me already being helped) I gave the ammo to the counter guy and walked out. The worst part is that there were 4 other employees behind the counter with 3 other terminals and nobody stepped up to try and take my money. I found the selection of guns and overall merchandise to be pretty sparse. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Go to Bass Pro two exits away if you want a quality gun store. Nowhere was this documented, in fact, the manager had to point to DMV regulations. He didn't have it documented yet I'm supposed to know. Ammo Bros has a large selection of guns and gear, everything a gun person wants in a gun shop. The bad rating is solely based on customer service from one of the employees. i visited the store to look at a Sig P320, after waiting around for maybe 10 minutes (other customers were being assisted) a young man came over and told me i had to be "LE" to see the P320, i stated i was and he proceeded to show it to me. As i looked at the gun he proceeded to ask me if i was going to buy the gun, i said not before looking at other guns i wanted to see, he then continued to tell me that thats usually how it goes with "LEO", and that they only look around to try to find the cheapest price because they are usually pretty cheap (LEO). after that i simply gave him the gun back and walked out. Not a good experience but ill probably go back since they did have the cheapest price on that gun. read more

Called in 2 days ago to verify they have the ar10 im looking for, the guy that i talked to said they will have it the next day and will have delivery. Next day i call to verify the stock before i goto store. The salesman said to call later afternoon and they will have the ar10. So 3 days im trying to purchase something to this store i called again to verify, the salesman put me on hold for 20mins just to verify stock. I hangup and will take my business elsewhere. I went there to buy my girlfriend a gun. First the wait took FOREVER and when we got our number called the guy was helpful and nice. We decided on a gun and purchased it. The girl at the register was more interested with flirting and goofing off instead of ringing us up. We returned on our pick up day and had to get a number again and wait FOREVER just to pick up a gun that was already paid for. On our last visit we also purchased a scope and this time we had to get rings to mount the scope. When we asked about rings the guy was very rude and condescending. He sent me to another counter and said someone would be there to get the rings. NOT. Eventually got the rings and went to check out. Guess what happened, the girl runs off to play grab ass with some guy and I stand there at the register waiting again. I was a fan at one point, but have lost interest in Ammo Bros. Ontario. There is a clear lack of management. I will not spend my money there anymore.
