They recently opened up their new location ( across the street from their previous location ) and man it's coming together. Far bigger store where they get to put up more goods to sell. The team is generally full of well informed and expert opinions that can guide your purchasing decisions. Special shout outs to Ethan who was one of the first staff members I interacted with and have since developed an immense gratitude for his knowledge and service attitude, frequently picking his brain and taking up his time, never making me feel rushed. Additionally aside from Ethan , it's been great getting to know Tyler and Kyle whom also exemplify great knowledge, great service, and general patience for a guy like me with a million questions. The shops selection is insane with your usual popular options and even select harder find options that aren't readily available at other lgs. The team/staff seem to be growing to match their high customer volume ( of which I have had the opportunity to work with through my several purchases ). Also while not directly involved in my purchases with processing paperwork's but often giving approval or influencing the deals that make purchases easy, Aubri has also been impactful and always takes the time to say hello! The og's that I mentioned have led/taught the growing staff well. If the owner/owners are reading this, please understand how much impact the aforementioned staff have made for guys like me. I came with my partner after spending the day at the outlets near Palm Springs. We arrived pretty close to closing, and even then, it was such an amazing experience. I finally got the Bass Pro hats I've been dreaming about, and honestly, this is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in. They literally have everything for the outdoors; fishing, camping, road trips, hiking... if you need it, they probably have it. They even sell boats! There was a shooting range, archery equipment, grills, snacks, a restaurant, sweets, and so much more. I could have spent hours exploring. And the prices?! An absolute STEAL!! I was shocked seeing hats for $5.99 and $9.99. How?! We also grabbed their BBQ chips, and they were chef's kiss. The employees were very friendly. The cashier who helped us was incredibly kind. She did spend quite a while helping the customer in front of us, and my partner and I were joking that it looked like love at first sight between them. It made for a funny moment while we waited. One important heads-up: Apple Pay is currently not working. When we visited on July 3, 2026, the cashier told us it might not be fixed for a few months. If you usually rely on Apple Pay, I'd recommend calling ahead or bringing a physical credit or debit card just in case. Overall, I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to come back. We tried the food there for the first time. I got the fish and chips and some sides. The fish and chips were great, the fries were hard as a rock, the gator bites with the dip was delicious and the spinach dip was just ok. Cold, refreshing beer and the service was great. It is on the expensive side when it comes to all the pricing but the quality is definitely all there and for the most part worth it. It's worth stopping by if ever in the area.

I also had a $30 REI gift card that I wanted to apply toward the shoe purchase. When checking out, cashier Lloyd told me, "You don't need the card, I got it." I assumed he could see and apply the gift card through my account. However, he never applied the $30 gift card and instead processed the transaction so that I only received a refund of $0.08 from the jacket return. When I questioned this and told him I wanted the gift card applied to the shoes, he said the transaction had already been processed then he suggested that I use the gift card next week when REI has a sale. This solution is unacceptable. I live about 20 miles from the store and do not want to make another special trip because of a cashier's mistake. I would appreciate REI's assistance in resolving this issue and honoring the $30 gift card toward the purchase I made today. The employees on the floor were fine, 90% of them friendly.

She showed me their less than lethal projection "gun" and let me fire a few round projectiles to try it out. She explained everything I needed to know about it, how to change out cylinders, maintenance etc... I didn't intend on spending anything, I just wanted to check the place out. So glad I stopped by. I purchased it along with extra practice "balls". This will be the perfect self defense weapon in my RV since we will be traveling for 2 months this summer going across the entire country with multiple states (that have different gun laws) This weapon is legal in all 50 and is not considered a fire arm though it looks like one (and probably will feel like one too briefly for a bad guy). I don't want to risk taking my real gun(s) into Canada or onto many military bases I will be at.
