Great place in Bown crossing. I had a gel mani and a regular pedi by Kristin. Very nice job! Both mani and pedi survived a barefoot on the beach 12 day vacation. The gel mani has not one chip, it is growing out so I better get back in there;) Kristin is very friendly and professional and takes pride in her work. I've lived in the Boise area for almost three years now and tried various nail technicians around the area but Amore Nail Studio is by far the best. Great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. Everyone here was so nice, but I am speechless at the lack of training my nail technician had. I had a Mani pedi and noticed during the pedicure that she didn't seem to be doing much with my cuticles. I figured they must not have been as bad as I thought. The polish looked fine so we moved on to the manicure. First, my cuticles weren't left to soak very long...then--and I just couldn't believe this--she pushed back my cuticles with *an Emery board*. I wanted to say something but it was clear that she didn't know enough about what she was doing to fix it. By the time the polish was going on my nails they looked rough and and the dust from buffing them was everywhere. She didn't give me a chance to wash my hands and didn't take the time to clean off the dust. The polish was applied clumpy and uneven in relation to my nail bed. Literally the worst manicure I've ever had --though from one of the nicest people ever. I hope this improves because they have a lot going for them as an establishment. read more

I love this nail salon. I have been going here for a few months every 2 weeks, and I always feel spoiled. My nails always look great, and everybody who works here is super friendly. For nails I've seen Suk, Emma, and Desiree, and I have have always left more than satisfied. PS, I am super picky about how my nails look, and I have yet to have any complaints. I always get the hard gel with either a solid gel polish or French manicure. The only nail that has broken was when I was firing an M4 rifle, and my nail got caught on the charging handle and broke back; it was inevitable. I've been wanting to write a review of this place for awhile but it's uncomfortable. However today I need to book a Mani so I was looking on Yelp to see where I might do that. I like this salon. I really do. And it's close to home, they speak English, and it's a nice atmosphere but the lighting is poor in the pedi section (at least when they were at Bown Crossing; they have since moved but still in SE Boise). I've received pretty good service here altho the front desk hospitality could use some work. But the real reason I won't go back is because of the man that is always around. I think he & his wife own the place. I've never seen him do a bit of work (altho I'm pretty sure he helps out in some ways) but it's like he loiters, hovers the technicians, and I just get an uncomfortable vibe from him. I tried them twice, he was there both times, and I felt the same way both times. Can't put my finger on it but it's not the way I want to feel while being pampered. I would go back if he weren't there. read more

I had a great experience at Amore! Emma did an outstanding job on my gel nails - I've never had sometime take the time to make sure they are perfect. They allow enough time for each appt - so they aren't rushed - not a common theme anymore. It was nice that I was not rushed in and out. This is my first yelp review ever, but felt compelled to do so. I had a full set of nails done and spent $65.00 plus tip. I had to have the nails redone less than 48 hours later because they were chipping, uneven, and missing top coat on parts of the nail. They looked terrible. I had to spend $40.00 plus tip to someone else to sand down my nails and reapply the liquid gel. They now look fabulous. read more

My daughter, granddaughter,and I all got mani/pedi's in March. The polish started chipping the next day. My daughter and I have been experiencing splitting and peeling fingernails ever since. Went here back when they were in Bound Crossing and loved them! Owners are super sweet and I love that everyone speaks really good English. Today though I went and the girl was nice but sooo slow! She kept talking to hers friend and I was kind of in a time crunch and scheduled a mani and pedi and it took her an hour just to do the pedicure which normally I wouldn't mind EXCEPT that I had a spray tan so I didn't even get massaged, scrubbed anything!! So it took her over an hour just to cut my cuticles and paint my toes.... oh and my appointment was at 11:00 I got there at 10:50 and she didn't start on me until 11:20... bummed because I actually really like this store and there new location is beautiful but it was so expensive ($50) for someone to literally paint my toes and do no extras!! read more

I know one of the girls working here. The owner said something that made me realize this place is really great. She said she wanted the girl doing my nails to become the best nail tech around, which means she not only cares about business, but her employees. I am so impressed with the salon, the decor inside, the atmosphere, and how my nails turned out. I am going to recommend this place to everyone I know. I have gotton my nails done at a lot of places, and Amore Nail Studio is my new favorite. The prices, based on the information I got, are reasonable, and fair. I had a great first-time experience at Amore Nail Studio. I tried out Amore based on all of the positive reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed. I booked a gel manicure online; the online process was very easy to use. I booked with one technician based on all of the positive Yelp reviews, but another technician ended up taking care of me. I didn't mind having a different technician, but if there is somebody in particular you want to do your nails, you might want to call and ask if they are really available. The studio was nice and clean, and I was greeted as soon as I came in and offered a bottle of water to drink. The salon didn't smell too much like chemicals, and they had six boxes with new pedicure chairs that will be unpacked this weekend. They had a ton of polish offerings to choose from; they are the only salon I have found in Boise that has Zoya polishes. There were several TVs in the salon that were on; two of them were on TV shows and one of them was showing nail technician artwork that they have done in the salon. My gel manicure took about 90 minutes. The nail tech had to remove my previous gel nails and did that with a combination of filing and steam removal. She asked me what shape I'd like my nails before she got started, and helped me find the particular color and style I was looking for. She was very It was a very relaxing experience, but the thing I liked most was how all of the nail techs interacted with each other and all of the customers that were there. There was a lot of laughing and talking to each other; all of the nail technicians and the owner spoke English and spoke with all of the customers who were in there, not just the ones who were at their stations. I would feel comfortable booking with any of the technicians. They also have a licensed aesthetician o site who can do waxing. The gel manicure included removal of my old nails, filing, shaping, soaking, cuticle oil, and hand and arm massage with my choice of one of 10 lotions. The value of my manicure was great. Great salon and staff! My daughters and I regularly go to Amore in Bown crossing for pedis, manis, acrylics and eyebrow maintenance (Desiree is amazing at brows (and nails of course) - she knows how to get your brow game on point!) We've worked with most of the staff and have liked all of them. The massage chairs in pedi area are sooo comfy and they really scrub your feet (not just a polish change). We keep coming back to Amore for great service, great work, professionalism, fair prices and a convenient online scheduling system. read more

I started going to Amore about 2 months ago. I'm hooked. I have had several pedicures and several backfills so far. All great and long lasting. Had appointments with the owner and 2 other technicians. All have been professional, done very satisfactory work, and consistent work, too. That's important. I love that they are in Bown Center because inevitably I will make a quick stop in Locavore Café or meet some one for lunch. It's foodie row. Parking is so easy, too. read more

Go somewhere else, anywhere else but here for a pedicure!! I went here with a friend for pedicures a week ago. By the end of it my cuticles were bright red and painful. The lady was ruthless, rather than filing my nails she'd file my skin! She also cut me several times. If she wanted me to lift my feet she'd smack the back of my legs hard. My friend had a more gentler and better pedicure, but mine was horrible. I went straight home and slathered my toes with antibacterial cream which I continued everyday for three days. I wish I would of taken a picture of my toes to share with you...it was bad! read more
