Her attentiveness as she talks to you like there's no one else in the room. I had my usual staple here. My delicious salad and the Homemade linguine and marina with tomatoes and garlic. We ordered a slice of Grandma pizza, cold antipasto for two, calamari fritti, Caesar salad, pasta alla vodka, shrimp scampi, and chicken Francese. Needless to say, we left with plenty of leftovers. The standout item was the Grandma pizza, which was excellent. The crust, sauce, and overall flavor were exactly what we were hoping for. The other dishes were good, but generally average and not particularly memorable or exceptional. Nothing was bad, but aside from the pizza, nothing really distinguished itself from similar offerings at other local Italian restaurants. The service was personable and friendly. However, it fell short of exemplary. We had to ask several times to have our water glasses refilled. To be fair, it was a very busy evening and our waiter appeared to have his hands full, which likely contributed to the oversight. The décor felt somewhat dated and could benefit from an update. While ambiance isn't everything, it does contribute to the overall dining experience. For us, the biggest drawback is location. At about a 25-minute drive from home, we didn't find the experience compelling enough to justify a return visit. There are simply too many other restaurants on our list that we'd rather try or revisit. While we don't regret giving it a chance, it's probably a one-and-done visit for us.

And when it came, it was the wrong pizza. Asking for Water was like standing in line for free food, getting passed over several times. Everyone's pizza came out at different times and pies were getting cold. There was a portable heater at one end which didn't help keep us warm. The pizza crust tasted almost like frozen pizza. Fountain sodas were $3.31 with no refills. This a major disappointment. Btw, its brick oven pizza not wood fired like one of us thought and that's why we came. Plus the toppings were unevenly distributed. So some slices were missing some toppings.

All were consistent with crisp, taste and generous toppings. They loaded up so much on pepperoni. Yummm. This has become my go to pizza spot. The service was on point and they were very hospitable. I would say the only con would be the linens and vibe. It reminds me of a snowy cabin feel. Just different than what I'm use to for a pizza restaurant but that doesn't deter me from coming back again and again.

**Toskana Pizzeria -- grandma pie excellence, plus legit Neapolitan and Sicilian**…read more Toskana Pizzeria is one of the few neighborhood spots that can pull off *multiple* pizza styles without any of them feeling like an afterthought. If you're the type who actually notices crust structure, bake quality, and balance--not just "is there cheese on it?"--this place earns the five stars. **Grandma pie (the headline act):** This is the standard. The crust has real integrity--crisp edges, that satisfying caramelized corner bite, and a base that stays structured instead of collapsing into a soggy regret. The sauce tastes clean and well-seasoned (not overly sweet), and the cheese-to-sauce ratio is dialed in so each layer is doing its job. **Thin-crust Neapolitan:** Excellent bake and flavor. You get that lighter, more delicate feel with a proper chew, and the toppings don't overwhelm the dough. It's the kind of pizza that tastes "simple" in the good way--because the fundamentals are right. **Sicilian:** A lot of places treat Sicilian like a dense bread block with toppings. Not here. Their Sicilian is actually well-made--airy enough to enjoy, sturdy enough to satisfy, and baked so it has texture instead of being a soft slab. The common thread is consistency: everything feels deliberate, properly baked, and balanced. If you live in the area and you're not ordering from Toskana, you're basically choosing to make your life harder for no reason. Five stars.

Nice cheese pull, good balance of sauce, and probably my favorite of the bunch. It held up well, not floppy at all, with a slight crisp on the bottom. BIG FAN! Chicken broccoli: Just OK. I've had better. The chicken was slightly burnt, which was disappointing. Grandma spinach & artichoke: Pretty good overall. It's similar in style to Artichoke Basille's Pizza, but not as rich or creamy. Margherita: Underwhelming. Nothing really stood out and I've definitely had better elsewhere. That said, I'd still go back just for the plain slice. You really can't go wrong with it. It's a thumbs up for me!
