Pretty standard American fare with some interesting seasonal options like the pumpkin risotto served in a pumpkin. I was pretty hungry so I went with the steak dinner and substituted the mashed potatoes at no extra charge. Nothing bad but not particularly memorable. The restaurant itself is the real attraction here with a beautiful carved bar and dining area. It was dimly lit for dinner service which made for a relaxing atmosphere but tricky to take pics in hence no shots of the interior.

Looking for a nice hot breakfast to warm us up as outside in frigid cold weather. We walked in and was greeted by hostess/seated , waitress came over with menus and asked us what we wanted to drink and came right back. A few minutes later she asked if we were ready to order . After placing our order I was looking around at the place and the bar looked vintage it felt like it was part of history of Boston (Nice) . Food arrived and it was hot and delicious, We will return next time we work down the street. Our waitress was excellent. Thank you

It's my first time in Boston and I walked from the Cambria Hotel in the misty snow. MAN it was cold and I was starving! A 5 min walk but I was happy to see a clean welcoming space to warm up. The aesthetic reminds me of the TV SHOW CHEERS. I say at the bar since I was alone and waited about 6-8 min for a waitress. When she came back to the bar she apologized for the wait and got me a menu. I ordered the Roasted Beet salad and sweet potato fries. Boring order I know .... But I felt the entrees weren't really my style. The salad took about 6 min but they were very busy with large tables of ppl so I was happy about the prompt food delivery. I would walk here again if I had too.

A charming place in a charming city... My crew and i met here for a work dinner meeting some vendors. The food was a bit underwhelming but the staff made up with great service and personable attitudes. Being in Boston, i ordered fish and chips and while the fish was fried perfectly golden and crunchy, i struggled to find any flavor. I also had an espresso martini from the bar, nothing special there either. For dessert we shared the cheesecake and the crème brûlée. Both desserts were good but nothing to write home about. All and all, i would come back based on the great serviced we received and the inviting atmosphere. I'd love to try something else on the menu to see if maybe i did not get their best dish.

I was seated right away for dinner and the waitress was nice and knowledgeable. The service was quick. I got the veggie burger and sweet potatoes and it was tasty. There were some guys at the bar talking kinda loud so I wouldn't bring a romantic date here. It's good for a casual meal.

The original Mul's diner has merged into Amrheins. Definitely lost the diner vibe, but the food is still good. Miss the old southie classic, but at least the must-get creme brulee French toast is still on the menu. Service is a little slow because they seem short staffed, but the food came out pretty quickly. Free private Parking lot is abundance next door and free 2-hr street parking if need.

Number Five with Crème Brûlée French Toast

A group of us came for Sunday brunch and we sat outside. They have a private parking right next to the restaurant which is very convenient. You can order lunch items after 11am. I ordered the number five (two eggs, french toast, home fries, bacon or sausage) with the additional charge of having creme brulee french toast. There's no drink menu but I got the man-mosa (vodka mimosa) which was what our waitress recommended when we wanted mimosas. Man-mosas were good. It was just like diner food, so it was good, for diner food that is. Home fries and bacon were good, but eggs were disappointing. The creme brulee french toast is good, and I would recommend it, but it was a little too sweet for me. The maple syrup comes in individual packets. Service was good, and would check on us as often as she could as she seemed like the only person serving outside.

Loved the atmosphere, the employees and the food. Best corned beef hash I've ever had. Had breakfast there on Sunday(visiting from WI) and had to go back Monday morning before we headed to the airport. Would definitely make this a must stop if we ever make it back to Boston. SO GOOOOOOD!

It is soooo good! The menu has so much variety that my only complaint is that I can't physically eat a fraction of the things that look good! Today's awesomeness according to the eaters: Chicken wings- outstanding, required if you like chicken! Meatballs- very tasty and tender and seductively fragrant with a touch of tang. Yum. Chicken dumplings- deliciously! (I asked for one word, there you have it Braised rabbit pasta- creamy but delicate, slightly tangy, tender and succulent! Short rib beef bimbab- creative, nice cut sticky glaze beef, lots of tasty textures Cajun Tilapia- The fish, the green tomatoes, the shrimp, and the sauce each have unique textures and flavors that made me smile down to the last desperate plate scrape! I recommend Moonshine 152 to everybody that visits Boston. It checks so many boxes that as I sit here waiting for dessert (pavlova, excited!) Their menu online looked great and we were able to walk in with no reservations early on a Friday night, although they were starting to fill up more as we left. The crab cake was delish & my baby devoured most of it. The salmon salad was tasty but the salmon itself was very salty, salt was literally all I could taste. The lettuce was very crisp and fresh and everything else was good so I didn't feel the need to complain also with the consideration that the chef intended to make the salmon salty to pair with the rest of the dish. The vibe was nice, a bit elevated. My server Michael was great! I would definitely order the crab cake again and try many other items on the menu that all looked superb. Thanks Moxies!

This is when we found Lincoln Tower Tavern. When we arrived, it was a moody atmosphere that we both were drawn to--high ceilings, brick walls, and dark brown accents. Since it was our first visit, we were excited to learn that Tuesdays feature $1 oysters. We ordered half a dozen and tried all three oyster varieties available. Each had a standalone flavor which I liked. It was also plated nicely for a quick photo op. For my drink I ordered the perfect pear; it had different flavors than what I'm used to, but in a good way. My boyfriend chose the Meat Pie and I ordered the Chicken Fettucine Fricassee. The waitress said these dishes would take half an hour to prepare (which it did not), so we ordered a side caesar to start off with because we were starving, it worked out because it was awesome. When the dishes arrived, the meat pie was a huge hit. I even tried the mashed potatoes and they were delicious. As for my dish, it just wasn't for me. I do want to state that it was prepared well and creative, the flavors just did not mesh with my palette well. It really tasted like turkey and gravy to me for some reason. It was a fine dish, just wouldn't order it again. Overall we had a great experience at this tavern as we really like the oysters, the drinks, the salad and my boyfriend did like his meat pie. The ingredients were also super fresh. That being said, I would try it again. They seem to be known for their wood fired pizzas, most tables were ordering them. Unfortunately we weren't craving pizza that night, but next time this is what I would order. Overall Lincoln Tavern has my vote, I just would order another entrée dish. We went up to the hostess stand and were seated right away. Our server came by and was very friendly. However, as the night went on the service became quite slow. It took a lot of time for our food to come out and to get our to-go boxes as well. For a drink, I ordered the PINA-NO-LADA. It is basically a virgin pina colada. Very delicious and they added some nice cherries on top. For the food we shared: -CEVICHE: Great flavor and very fresh octopus. Went well with the tortilla chips it came with. -SHRIMP SCAMPI: The pasta was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp that were big and juicy. However, the sauce was overly acidic. There was way too much lemon in it. I do also wish they had more than just 4 shrimp on top of a $30 bowl of pasta. -BRUSSEL SPROUTS: Was good brussel sprouts. All in all, while the food was pretty good (with some hit or miss elements), it is such an expensive meal especially for the portion and service you are getting.
