The food, the service & the ambiance are excellent. I got a breakfast burrito with a side of avacado. So fresh and delicious. I could only eat half because the burrito was so big. I added sausage to it for an extra dollar or so. I believe this is a family business and they take great pride in quality, quantity, cleanliness & great service. They are celebrating 20 years in business which says a lot. Parking & off street parking available. Highly recommend as I am becoming a foodie!

price, convenience, service, and taste ! a small-town feel diner is exactly what's needed on a saturday morning and my diner checks all of the boxes! we loved our food and determined this is our new go-to breakfast date spot.

Found place through a Yelp search for breakfast spot. We were here Sunday morning around 8. Place was fairly empty. We sat outside. Service was fast. We ordered typical breakfast food. Breakfast food is cooked fast, but this place might have set a record. It felt like less than 5 minutes. Eggs and sausage were great. My daughter enjoyed the pancakes with strawberries on top. She played great soccer later that morning so maybe we give credit to the food? This place is on the second floor which is called floor 1. I walked right by the sign that told us where to go.

Table full of delicious food.

Great place for Breakfast!! It's upstairs once you enter the building so don't be alarmed. Fun menu items with the classics to fun sweet waffles and pancakes. Will be returning to My Diner soon.

This is a great spot for diner breakfast! The breakfast is cooked to order and comes to the table never quickly. The staff is kind and the diner has a super cute feel. The food is always good if you want diner breakfast food

This diner was amazing. The workers there are so friendly and do an amazing job. The food was delectable. The homefries are perfect. My boyfriend got the sausage and said it was the best he's ever had. Totally recommend going here and supporting this business! It's also a lovely place, you can sit outside or inside.

Cute little diner hidden on the 2nd floor in a building on the corner of East and Dorchester in Southie. We are staying at the Aloft on D Street, it's a half mile walk or a $6 lyft ride on a Sunday morning. Delicious. Value and quality very good. May be the best egg sandwich I've had in a long time. Egg over med on grilled English with cheddar and bacon. Home fries cooked to perfection. Soft yet hold their shape, crispy on one side. Lightly seasoned. Very good. Hubby had ham and egg sandwich on English with a big portion of the home fries (he shared). Waitress was nice, professional, and organized. Highly recommend- we will be back.

The best vegan pancakes I've ever had! They melt in your mouth. The restaurant was clean and all of the food was delicious.

Good food, friendly service, nice and clean location. Parking isn't great though, keep that in mind or plan ahead for it.

Typical diner spot with breakfast and lunch options. Waited a little to be seated on a weekend but the food came out relatively quickly.

Sail me to the moon with the Clam Chowder they make here!…read more Our first stop on a food tour, we came in for the legendary Clam Chowder. It was an absolute treat to say the least. Thickest, most seasoned, and most delicious Clam Chowder I've ever had. I wanted a second one but knew we had more on our tour to enjoy so I had to resist. In one of my photos attached, the spoon stands straight up in the mug! Incredible! The other food getting served around us looked great too. Definitely adding this to our "come back to" list when we visit Boston again.

Our plan was to sit outside at a table on their SIDEWALK area with my 10lb dog in her stroller, but the hostess said, with an attitude, no dogs allowed in the patio area. Patio area? You mean the sidewalk? Isn't the sidewalk a public area? We were confused. We tried to clarify because maybe he was confused? But no, he said no again. My mom was hungry so we opted to get a bowl of chowder to go and we put our name down at the restaurant next door who was UBER dog friendly and even gave my girl a dog bone when we checked in, and lots of pets. Anyways the clam chowder should be renamed to dill chowder because dang, why so much! And hardly any clam, mostly potatoes. Not a fan of the policy or the chowder, would not recommend

Unless you wanna wait an hour or so, it's best to arrive 30min before they open to beat the rush. It's incredibly cramped and rushed inside, and you may need to share a table with others if you're a smaller party. Food is quite pricey but well worth it. We ordered the oysters (they've got a variety so you can choose), clam chowder, lobster roll, cioppino, and johnnycake. Oysters were fine, but the clam chowder was absolutely dismal. Not sure what happened, especially since it's so highly rated, but it was extremely watery and almost completely unseasoned. It could've definitely used salt at the very least. If I didn't know it was from Neptune, I'd have given it a 2/10. To my relief, the lobster roll was the total opposite. Succulent, juicy, heavenly. It was like being in Maine. The cioppino was also very good. The Johnnycake was an interesting but fun way to end the meal. It's a sweet pancake-like cornmeal covered in a syrupy glaze and topped with smoked bluefish paste, crème fraiche and caviar. I've never had anything like it. Nothing was super overpriced, but I personally prefer next door (Paulini's), which is much cheaper and while it isn't as good, it also doesn't require waiting in an hour in line. However, I think Neptune's is definitely worth a try as long as you're willing to wait in line.

Getting a reservation wasn't difficult, just make sure you get it a few days in advance. Everything here was amazing. Patio, food, drinks, service- no notes. We got the calamari meatballs as our appetizer. I don't like meatballs but I made an exception here...the ricotta is SO light and tastes so fresh. It went so well with the meatballs. The sauce was pretty complex flavor wise and was a delight to have. The meatballs were also delicious and we loved how everything went so well together. After we finished our appetizer, we were brought bread which we used to sop up the rest of the sauce. It was delicious. For our entrees, we got the swordfish and the aglio olio with scallops. Wow. This was my first time trying swordfish, but it was delicious and however they cooked broccoli rabe made me actually like it! It was so good. The aglio olio...tastes even better than it looks. SO good and such a massive portion. I got to ball out on leftovers the next day. The scallops were perfectly seared and went so welll with the pasta. It was so fun have calamari and garlic bits in the pasta...the calamari in it was truly unique. Thinking about this dinner is making my mouth water and making me hungry.
