First time here tonight and we luckily best the rush! This place gets really busy but I understood why! The menu is huge, prices are good, and the ice cream is great! They were really fast to get orders out as well. I got the vortex dippers which came with a vortex (similar to a blizzard), waffle cone chips, and dipping sauce (I chose PB). It was a great choice. There is ample parking and outdoor seating available.

    So many flavors!

Went here at the recommendation of a local restaurant for dessert, and was not disappointed! Their prices were affordable, the ice cream was delicious, and they had so many different options for treats as well. Nice little outdoor space to sit and enjoy a nice day though it can be a little noisy with all the cars racing by.

We loved Amsdell! We tried it for the first time this past Saturday because my cousin's food truck was parked there so we were going to get pizza and ice cream. The parking lot wasn't giant, but we were there for a couple hours since it was dinner and dessert for us, and there was never any issues of it being full. There was a fenced off area next to the parking lot that had a bunch of picnic tables, and again, there wasn't a giant amount but they were never full so that was nice. My daughter gets ansty, and after dinner it was nice for her to have the delineated fenced area to run around in, plus there was a big bucket of chalk for kids to use! The ice cream itself was very good! I made my own sundae with Bake Shoppe flavor. They sell both Perry's and Galliker's, which I never had heard of, but that is the brand Bake Shoppe was. It was SO good, a cookie dough flavored ice cream with cookie dough and brownie chunks. The chunks were huge and I loved it. I got hot fudge, whipped cream, and sprinkles. My husband got a smores sundae, which he said was excellent, and my daughter had a small sundae of twist custard. The menu is really big with tons of hard ice cream and they also had 4 types of custard. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the serving size too! I definitely want to go back!

We absolutely love Amsdell!! I order their amazing ice cream cakes for almost every occasion we have. I have brought family from out of state for ice cream in the summer and they can't stop raving about Amsdell ice cream!!

We ordered a cake for our Easter dinner and it turned out beautiful! I specifically asked for all vanilla and they did it. Very fresh middle filling (crunch & fudge) everyone enjoyed it. Their custard cones are great too. I had the sea salt caramel custard. Yummy! They are always changing up the flavors!

I came here quite close to closing time but the girl at the counter still took my order and was kind. I came here to get a peanut butter fudge sundae. I saw it on Facebook and I "needed it." It came in a collector Bills glass. My friend is a big Bills fan so I wanted to give it to her for her upcoming birthday. The sundae inside the glass came to $9.00!!! It was quite pricy but it was worth it. The sundae was so delicious. It was chocolate ice cream with hot fudge sauce, peanut butter sauce, chunks of peanut butter and chocolate with whipped cream on top and a delicious cherry on top of that. I was in heaven. I think they close for the season on Saturday (the 19th) but I'll return next year if I'm in the area and have a hankering for something delicious.

It's a toss between this place and Fran ceil custard for me. My kids love this place though. Many options. And they have a nice cozy seating area inside and outside. A plus if you want to eat ice cream but crappy weather. The price not too much because of the size you get. Even for small sz.

I go here more often than I'd like to admit. Their soft serve is really, really good. It's actually a frozen custard. My partner is dairy sensitive, so he eats their dole whip-which is also good. They have many options of hard dip ice cream, and endless combinations for sundaes and whatnot. I am sad when they close for the season. It's 10x better than diary queen.

Traveling from California we found a gem in Hamburg NY! Amsdell Ice Cream Eatery has fantastic ice cream flavors... the best I have ever had! Recommend the Bake Shop and Carrot Cake... they both had wonderful flavor. The staff was friendly and filled the orders very fast.

This place has been open for at least 2 seasons already. I remember when it was a bar before but it closed and then opened up as a Ice Cream shop. So one day I told Dan, lets go try that ice cream place on Amsdell & Route 20. So we get there, parking lot is small but manageable in terms of getting in and out. There is no inside seating so its all outdoor. The out door area is pretty nice in terms of sitting out side and cooling down etc. Now for the ice cream the pricing was very high for what you get. I got a smores sundae which pretty much was soft serve, hot fudge, whip cream, Hershey candy and two crackers suck into the ice cream. It was nothing special and it was something I could have easily made at home. Dan got the hot fudge sundae and that too was nothing special. Now for the pricing, its really on the higher end for the amount you get. When I asked Dan, this is all we got for what we paid, thats when I said, we will probably not going to come back. If prices was cheaper or serving portions were more, we would come back, but until then, we will pass on this place when looking for a ice cream place in the summer and in the area.

They have a huge selection of Perry's Ice cream plus some other specialities like soft serve with the gel flavors. Their sizes are HUGE. The pictures are mediums and it was only $7 total for two, so the price is definitely very reasonable.

Cookie butter ice cream cone! Yumm!
    Chris N.

Ice cream was good. Got the new cookie butter cone. The price wasn't too bad. My wife and I got two medium cones for only $7. Sometimes the parking lot can be packed and crowded but today we rode our bikes and it was a perfect treat.

I'd never before seen sourdough croissants or cheese danishes; there's an abundance of gorgeous loaves/boules for sale. (Cheese fondue supplies! Yes!!). A baker's rack to the right sells day-old bread at discounted prices (make your own croutons!) I opted for an almond (sourdough) croissant and a small coffee; I was asked if I wanted a mug or a to go cup? I was given a beautiful glazed mug - very charming! Two things worth mentioning: There's a small seating area downstairs, and five large tables upstairs. The stairs? A polite way of describing them is, "grandfathered-in". The rise/run makes it difficult to navigate if you're in thick boots, carrying a child, or have stiff knees. The pastry had a beautiful crunch. I enjoyed the almond flavor. And then I found: cherry preserves? I'm aware that "croissant et confiture" (eaten with jam) is a standard French breakfast, but it did change the mouth feel of the treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something earthier and beautifully executed.

I was intrigued when visiting the Galleria to quickly pay some bills. Located on the second floor right outside of Macy's, it's worth to stop even just to watch and to be amazed. Three employees where quickly moving around the little shop amist a gathering of people just as curious as I was. The large tanks of nitrogen were spouting the gas and the ice cream creators were quickly stirring the concoction as the ohhs and ahhs were being heard. You could either get a flavor of nitro cream and add your own toppings or there is also a list of sundae-like menu options. Flavors like vanilla, chocolate, mint, strawberry, cake batter, pitschao, and coffee were options. The saying of Go big or go home flashed in my mind. So I ended up going with Nitro Mike's Fav which was cake batter ice cream with cookie dough, peanut butter mixed it. The ice cream was very creamy and yet seemed a little less heavy than a typical Perry's offering. The price ended up being just over $6 with tax. They apparently also catering at special events like weddings and birthdays which is a pretty cool idea. The employee who made my order also mentioned that more franchises are coming. But right now they are only at the Walden Galleria mall. As much of a haven of canadiens that the Galleria has become, I feel I'll bear it to have some more of their ice cream!
