    Breakfast sando

We ordered a latte, a breakfast sandwich, and the chicken pesto sandwich. The latte was enjoyable, though it tasted more milk-forward than coffee-forward. To be fair, we did order a latte, so that is partly expected. The breakfast sandwich was good but a little underseasoned and could have used a bit more flavor overall. The chicken pesto sandwich was the standout. The pesto was well balanced and did not overpower the rest of the ingredients, which made the sandwich really pleasant to eat. Overall, everything was solid, though slightly pricey for the portion sizes. The food was good, but nothing especially memorable. Still, it is a nice stop if you are in the area.

Funny thing is I found this shop by accident and I'm so glad I did. I was staying in Atascadero looking for a local coffee shop there and instead of hitting the one I thought was going to in my GPS, I accidentally hit Amstrdm instead. Even though it was a 15 minute drive up the freeway from where I was, it was worth every minute. The downtown area this shop is in was really cool, plenty of parking, and the moment you walked into this coffee shop you could tell it was going to be good. Lots of space, people sitting and having conversations, and a greeting from the Barista the second I walked through the door. I went with my standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a triple shot and it was perfect. I wish I could have drank it there because the inside of the shop seemed like a place you could hang out for a while. Unfortunately, I had to take it on the road, but that is a shop (if I lived in that area) I would drive out of my way to get to. Well done guys!

This place was a great place for breakfast before starting our day. I had a oaxaca mocha and the breakfast sandwich. My friends had the biscuits with gravy and the shakshuka. All the staff were super friendly. We ate outside in the courtyard area which was nice on the summer morning. We also had a pleasant conversation with Evan. Cant wait to eat here again!

Quaint spot for coffee and breakfast items! The Amstrdm Sando does take a little extra time to prepare (20 min was quoted). Indoor and outdoor seating available. Sando was tasty and the lox bagel was a good combo of salmon and schmear. We came on a Sunday morning and there was a good amount of people come in with polite dogs indoors.

Trying local coffee shops over franchise spots forever ! No like seriously take a little detour and check this place out! There is something poetic and artsy about this place in the coolest way possible. The building itself gives of a vibe that its hard to put into words. Almost like imaging that all your favorite legendary musicians and poets would hang out here. Staff was agreeable and worked quickly. As for my coffee it was great and not overpriced! You'll find lots of seating here perfect for hanging out or even studying.

Good service, coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The location is easy to find as it is near downtown. I tried the Amsterdam Sando on brioche and it was delicious.

Nice stop to get coffee while in downtown to look at cars drive by, but that's it. Highly disappointed with the food and options. They were out of the sauce for the sandwich, which honestly wouldn't have helped this soulless wonder bread ham and cheese sandwich. I was baffled when they brought out the boring sandwich and my latte which I had just paid $22 for. I even said where's the rest of it. Fancy names for the food items on the menu really are deceiving. I know the economy is bad, but that doesn't justify a $12+ white bread, cheese and ham sandwich. Service was decent. Go elsewhere, for better coffee and food.

We visited Amstrdm Coffee House on a Sunday morning and found it pretty busy. The interior had a rustic vibe with plenty of natural light and a cool piece of an old piano attached to the counter. It was also dog-friendly, which I always love! I ordered the Vanilla Elderflower Latte, which was tasty and not overly sweet. I also got the Oatmeal with macerated berries. It was basic but filling, and nice to warm up on a chilly morning. Service was friendly but leisurely!

Best cafe in town! Amazing coffee and a great new expanded food menu with courtyard seating. Service is super quick even when busy.

Was in Paso for a long weekend and needed my caffeine fix. I ordered the Iced Salted Caramel latte and it was very good. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon- which was also very good. The brioche bun is AMAZING. So soft and fluffy. Overall, this coffee shop was great! I will definitely be coming back for more!

Amsterm Coffee House in Paso Robles delivers where it counts. My iced latte was excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and refreshing--and the breakfast sandwich was genuinely delicious. While the service felt a bit borderline (the barista seemed like they were nearing the end of a long shift and not especially engaged), the quality of the drinks and food more than made up for it. Overall, a great stop and definitely deserving of a 5/5.

Better inside view pork belly breakfast sandwich

So yum. I found them on Yelp and saw a menu for breakfast. I knew it was a coffee house but by the menu thought maybe a sit down. So I was a little confused at first waking up, bc there's a patio area. But you order and then sit inside or patio. Kitchen is detached. Got the oats, breakfast sando, pork belly dip, and Oaxaca coffee. The Oats were so good!! We all loved that. Sandwich was perfect, the dip gives it that extra salt punch I think it needed. And my coffee was so yum, I got it less sweet. Location is near shops and the patio was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would be back. Ty

Decided to have breakfast here on our last day in Paso Robles. We were greeted with a smile, ordered croissant sandwich & breakfast burrito and coffee. My husband decided on dark roast brewed coffee & I had cappucino - both were just like we like it - nice & strong. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Space is clean, inviting & casual.

As someone visiting from out of town, I was hoping for a warm, welcoming coffee shop experience. The café is definitely cute and has a great atmosphere, but the service felt a bit rushed. It also wasn't busy--there were only a few customers inside, and I was the only person ordering coffee at the time. Even so, I wasn't asked if my order was for here or to go, and I also wasn't asked if I'd like my coffee cake warmed. Everything was automatically served in a to-go cup with a cold slice of coffee cake. After sitting outside, I noticed other customers enjoying their drinks in ceramic mugs, which would have made the experience feel much more like the cozy coffee shop I was hoping for. It's a small detail, but those little touches can make a big difference, especially for first-time visitors. The quality of the coffee is worth stopping in for, but a little more attentiveness and hospitality would make the experience even better.

The staff deserves just as much praise as the coffee. Every barista I've interacted with has been friendly, welcoming, and consistently on point.
