I was an early supporter of Amy's and loved the fact that it was meat-free and provided alternative fast food options that seemed healthier. I've been to Amy's many, many times and for a long while served as one of its biggest cheerleaders, but I've since grown disillusioned. The food is not all that great. It's pretty bland and lacks any wow factor. I've tried the gamut of the available options, but nothing has ever stuck as something I crave. The final straw for me was when my husband was halfway through his Amy burger and he pulled a long, grotesque hair out of his mouth. Absolutely foul. When we were talking to the staff about it, we saw that the person preparing the food had her hair down with no hair net. She was both courteous and friendly, and even gave my pup in the backseat a couple of dog treats. Window 2 is where it all went downhill with a young man who had zero understanding of customer service. He asked me to pull up to window 3 while I wait for my order, which was only a single burger. After waiting 10 minutes, I attempted to flag down the workers who were within my view, but was ignored by every single one of them even though it was apparent that they saw me. I tried saying excuse me and lightly knocked on the window as I simply wanted an update on my order. I asked the car behind me who was parked in front of window 2 if he could get someone's attention. That same young man stuck his head out and I asked him if there was something wrong with the order, but he did not respond. Instead, he came to my window, practically tossed a cold burger at me, gave me the excuse that they were busy, and slammed the window shut before I could even reply. Never once was I rude in my interactions, yet I was met with a horrible attitude and no apology for any of it! I understand staff shortages (I experience that in my own work place frequently), but it's unreasonable to take it out on an inquiring customer. I've been a regular at Amy's since they opened up in Rohnert Park and how convenient to have an Amy's where you live and now where you work, happy vegan! I have nothing but good things to say about Amy's, love the variety of items on the menu, from burritos to burgers to salads, organic ingredients, vegan and gluten-free option and so dang good. My usual is a burger, single with vegan cheese and sometimes I get their chili cheese fries which are yummy or stick to regular fries which are also very good. They're bagels, burritos and salads are also up there on my things I love and regularly get from Amy's. And a ginger mint lemonade! They have a decent sized patio for outdoor seating, which is open or drive thru! I will say that if the line of cars is out to the street be prepared to wait approx. 30 min or so, it does get busy at times but still worth it! read more

I'm happy that Amy's finally opened a location down our way in Marin. I would always make an effort to stop there on the way up north, so it's great to have one nearby. Amy's opened during COVID, so up until recently my only experience was in the drive-through. There were some long waits and miscommunications at the beginning, but they eventually seemed to iron it out. More recently, we have started eating on the outside patio. It doesn't really seem like they care too much about the cleanliness and overall appearance of the inside and outside seating in their restaurant. The two times we ate there, many of the tables were dirty with food still on them, and the condiment/drink stations were filled with trash and messes. Both times we went, they weren't very busy, so I don't know if the employees just don't want to work, or if I just happened to get lucky twice. The four star rating is because of their great, consistent, healthy food. The interior service and cleanliness would be more like a 2 or 3 star. Yes, it may be "fast food" but it's vegan fast food that's actually pretty healthy. We're so excited to have Amy's put their second location in Corte Madera, right in our back yard so to speak. We used to drive all the way up to Rohnert Park to visit Amy's Drive Thru and never complained about the drive because we alway had a great meal when we arrived. Now it's a much shorter drive for us and the food is just as fantastic. Sometimes you just want a vegan veggie burger, with spicy sauce and some fries, can't be helped. Their vegan milkshakes are really good too. Amy's is a great company and the food they serve actually serves our community better than any other fast food burger joint. We've visited this new location at least 5 times since its opened and have had a great experience every time. So happy to have Amy's Drive Thru in my backyard. Up until recently, I could only get their food at their Rohnert Park location, at the SFO terminal, or the Frozen Food section of the supermarket. But lo and behold, they've taken over the old Denny's of my youth. And judging by the long lines, it looks like Marin County is truly embracing this restaurant. If you know me, you know that I'm a meat-and-potatoes kind of guy. And if you've never been to Amy's, you need to know that everything on the menu is vegetarian. But don't worry, my fellow carnivores. The food here is legit, and you won't be asking "where's the beef?" My go-to order is their signature Amy's Burger (which comes with two veggie patties, crisp lettuce, onion, tomato and special sauce and served on a fresh bun). This veggie burger will satisfy even the most hardcore carnivore. The flavor balance and texture is similar to an In 'n Out Burger (just minus the beef). And you certainly can't beat the price ($6). Throw in an order of fries and a drink, and you'll be driving home with a delicious, filling meal for around 10 bucks. If burgers aren't your thing, they also serve gluten-free/vegan offerings like Mac n Cheese and Chili. I haven't tried either of those dishes yet, but they certainly look tasty. And as for the service, this young kind man was very knowledgeable and understanding with me. His name was Andy and I told him I was very sorry that I am taking so long to decide what to order because it is my first time here and he was so kind and such a peach! I ordered a vanilla shake, strawberry shake, fries, and burrito bowl. I got the burrito bowl with spicy chipotle sauce, which is heavenly. I would order this again just with not a lot of lettuce. I enjoyed the vanilla shake more than the strawberry one. My total came out to around $21. All the workers here were lovely and ready to answer any questions. There are two spots dedicated to waiting for your food. I noticed plenty of parking spots. If I'm ever in town or passing through, I'd for sure come here to grab something to eat. read more

I was thrilled when I heard Amy's was opening a restaurant in Corte Madera, especially since they got the OK to add a drive thru. (Something In & Out desperately needs, but wasn't allowed. Arrgh!) The food is all vegetarian (or vegan or gluten- free for a 50 cent upcharge), and I certainly didn't miss the meat. Here's what Mr. B and I got on our first trip through the drive thru: 1)The Amy- double veggie patty (garden burger) double cheese, lettuce, onion (grilled or raw) pickle, secret sauce. $6.49 2) Single Burger no cheese - same as The Amy, but one garden burger patty. $5.19 The burgers were good, but I seemed to have remembered the burgers at the RP location were of the fake meat variety, not garden burger. I would have preferred fake meat, but that's just me. 3) Amy's fries. OK, these are seriously delectable. They were so good we asked an employee what made them so good. He said the Amy's fries are made using sunflower oil. Delish! $3.79 4) Cinnamon roll - served warm, and tasty, but it needed frosting. $3.39 5) Waffle with butter and real maple syrup - Delicious. Best fast food breakfast item I've ever had. $5.99 6) Hot Chocolate- Better than some fancy coffee houses made by baristas, no joke. $3.39 7) Chili- Nice, tasted like Dennison's canned chili, but I like Dennison's. $4.49 8) Iced Chai latte - Just ok. Think In N Out lines at the drive through (especially since they aren't taking any orders inside). We ordered on the app for pickup and got: -Amy's single burger, no cheese -Vegan mac n cheese with broccoli and scoop of chili -Bean burrito -Sweet potato fries -Cinnamon roll The bean burrito, sweet potato fries, and cinnamon roll were just okay. Not bad but nothing mind blowing. Same with the burger. It wasn't a bad burger by any means, but nothing really super special. The only item I would maybe come back for would be the mac and cheese. For vegan mac and cheese, it was creamy and filling. I will say that the quantity of food was great for the price. We had a very disappointing visit to Amy's Drive Thru today. The quality of service in particular was horrendous. - Firstly, I ordered 3 Amy Burgers and specifically indicated that I'd like all burgers with the regular sauce, plus spicy sauce on the side. The person taking the order said that won't be a problem, and I even double confirmed when she repeated the order that I'd like the burgers to include the regular sauce, not just the spicy sauce on the side. However, when we opened up the burgers, they didn't have any sauce inside of them, just the spicy sauce on the side!! - Secondly, I ordered a bowl of chili with rice. When the order taker repeated my order, I specifically confirmed that I would like the chili with rice, not just chili. The person said yes however when I opened up the container, it was just chili and no rice!! - Thirdly, before driving up all the way, I had asked if their outdoor seating would be open. On August 6, I was informed by their staff in writing that the outdoor seating area would be open on August 11. We went on August 15 and the outdoor seating area was still CLOSED!!! - Fourthly, the have raised prices significantly and the prices are now exorbibant. I have an old menu from Rohnert Park from a few years ago and the price of the Amy burger for example is more than 50% higher now!!! Seems like they have become greedy corporate types! A small side salad for instance is almost $7, a smoothie is $8, which seems really overpriced, even for Marin County. - Fifthly, the French fry holder wasn't anywhere close to being full. They skimped us on French Fries! Come on Amy's!!! - Sixthly, the cinnamon roll was really off. I've ordered this at Rohnert Park and their SFO location and it's always been great. Seems like they didn't prepare it correctly. They were also out of their tomato bisque which my daughter wanted, but not such a big deal to have things run out, so I'll give them a pass on that. Amy's veggie burger ("The Amy") is probably the best burger I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The savory patty, the crunchy iceberg lettuce, the flavorful sauce, the... salty... pickles, the melty cheese are all excellent in isolation and form a perfect burger together. We routinely drive 1.5 hours *each way* to visit this location just to enjoy this meal (please open a San Jose location). Additionally, the fries are also *excellent*. They're the McDonald's style fries in the most positive sense: long, square cross section, crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The salt amount is a bit variable, but within the acceptable range. The best burger and fries for a vegetarian hands down. There are a few more burger varieties, which are decent as well. I didn't try any other options, why bother? The burger is where its at. The soda machine has some weird, real-sugar off-brand sodas. They're good. The food is served at a reasonable speed. Sometimes it gets busy. The only demerit about this location is that they seem to be incapable of keeping their seating area clean. Pretty much every visit the tables are dirty, the floors are dirty, the seats are dirty. There is outside seating which is marginally better, but it's clear they're skimping on the upkeep. Going here is one of the highlights of my life, and I have a pretty good life! We love everything about Amy's, the tasty healthy food, the wonderful service, and the whole ambiance, nice patio, even a living roof, nice touch Amy! We live a good distance from Amy's but try to get here every 2 weeks for a wonderful meal. My wife loves the soups and salads, the kids and I love the Amy's Burger, fries (regular and sweet potato), mac & cheese, and the shakes! The veggie burgers are so good, I get added sauce for a little more flavor, and I love that they have so many vegan options for the wife and I. I do need to try more of their dishes, I just LOVE my Amy's burger with fries and a shake so much. And the cinnamon roll, delicious! The service, I cannot say enough great things about the manager Asiah, such a kind and friendly Lady.. So I would call this place pricey.... $3 for a cinnamon roll that is the size of a child's fist. I had the following. 1) Spicy Burger- 2.5 out of 5- I've had much better frozen veggie burgers cooked at home. IMO it was too sweet 2) Super Salad- 2 out 5- at over 11 dollars the lettuce was wilting... come on guys I can buy better lettuce in the farmers market for $1.
