Ha Long Bay continues to be one of my favorite spots in Pinellas, and it's easy to see why. The…read moremenu spans dim sum, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes, so you can build a meal that hits every craving in one sitting -- which is exactly what we did last night. We started with dim sum: taro dumplings (three pieces) and shark fin dumplings (four pieces) -- despite the name, there's no shark fin involved, it's just named for the shape, which resembles a shark fin. Filling-wise it tasted like a shu mai with pork and shrimp, just sealed closed rather than open-topped. Their house-made hot chili sauce was a standout -- just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dumplings. For entrées, I went with the Com Thit Nuong (Vietnamese grilled pork chop with egg), and my wife had the Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pork and shrimp crepe). We also ordered the salt and pepper calamari, which stole the show for me -- the batter was light and perfectly seasoned, fried up crunchy, and tossed with garlic and hot chilies. Hands down my favorite dish of the night. They also do a Mandarin-style pork chop that reminds me of the Peking-style pork chops you'd find in Chinatown, NYC -- a nice touch for anyone missing that flavor down here in Florida. Between the variety, the quality, and the consistency, Ha Long Bay remains a go-to for us. Highly recommend going in with a group so you can sample across all three cuisines.

Menu has a large selection and they came by with their dim sum cart and offered us some selections. Their pork dumpling and beef bun was good. Pho: 3/5, spices were too fragrant and almost all I could taste from the soup. Bun Bo Hue: 4/5, a bit too sweet for my liking but still good! Beef fried rice: 5/5, star of the show! So good and cooked very well. Sichuan beef: 2/5, thought it was gonna be more Chinese infused but it was just stir fry. Garlic pork chops: 2/5, heard great things but this was okay and too sweet. Almost tasted like ice-cream. Overall, food was good and I wouldn't mind coming back.

All the food and drinks are absolutely delicious…read more I didn't realize they have a different menu on the weekends than they do on a weekday. I've been looking at weekday menus, so I inadvertently brought us on the weekend when the menu was different and didn't have things my kids would eat. However, my husband and I really enjoyed the food. I tried a Matcha latte with oat milk and Ube cold foam. It is amazing, no notes. I would get it every single time. We also tried their soup, dumplings, steamed chicken dumplings, pickled vegetable side, pork bun, and shrimp and pork bun. I can't eat the buns since I don't eat pork, but everything else was amazing. One of my sons did end up choosing a chocolate croissant so I tried a little and it was very good as well. This isn't your grocery store croissant. It was buttery and flaky with a good amount of chocolate. Inside is filled with eclectic decor, and you can purchase the art on the wall. Everyone who worked here was very friendly. They have a small parking lot out front, but this place isn't around a ton of other things so I would assume parking is no problem. If I lived closer, I would come back for the Matcha latte alone. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

The coffee drinks and teas are really good, my fave has to be the purple haze which is essentially a London fog. The fried rice is pretty good. I personally don't care for the flavor profile, but it was actually cooked to perfection. Presentation was perfect and It's not their fault that my taste buds don't care for the flavor, but I would definitely recommend people try it. People working there are super nice and it's a plus that they have plenty of parking.

I especially appreciated the pacing; the food arrived quickly but was staggered correctly, which is essential for a good dim sum experience. Highlights: Roast Duck: Savory with perfectly crispy skin and creamy fat. The Buns: We tried the Sesame Ball, Baked BBQ Pork, Pan-Fried Meat, and Green Tea Custard buns. They were all excellent--soft, fluffy, and balanced without being overly sweet. Must-Try: The BBQ Pork and Green Tea Custard buns were the standouts. So happy to have this gem nearby. We will definitely be returning!

I had heard great things about it and hadn't gotten the chance to go until recently. This is mostly because they're located in Windermere, which is a bit aways from most of Orlando. It was chosen as the dinner location for a work dinner for Asian American Heritage Month. May might be over, but Asian food is forever. It's in a very cute location with shops around and ample of parking. They had tables set aside for us and they have a full menu as well as the dim sum menu, which you mark how many of an item you want. Family style dining as is most Asian dining. The interior is super nice and it does feel upscale. They have large tables and some smaller ones but it's not a huge restaurant space. This means the meals feel very cozy and intimate. We got the squid ink shrimp dumplings and regular shrimp dumplings. They were both a 9/10. I will say that squid ink anything does not add to the flavor, just the color of the food. Squid ink is slightly more expensive. The shumai was a 9/10. By the way the dumplings were huge and about 4 pieces per order. We tried the curry fish balls, which essentially is fish balls like the ones you get at hot pot cooked in a yellow curry. It was my first time trying this and I thought it was just ok. This was a 5.5/10. Some ordered beef and broccoli for the table and it was delicious. Definitely a large dish to be shared. That was an 8.5/10. We tried their wonton soup which came with noodles and bok chop. This was an 8/10. The fried shrimp balls were excellent and is a 9/10 for me. Normally, I think they are either too savory or oily. However, these ones had great crips and really well balanced flavor. We tried my favorite dim sum dish, which is the rice rolls with shrimp. This was a 6/10 for me. It just wasn't my favorite one that I have had. We also tried the mango custard bun, which was a 8/10. Overall, I would give them a 8/10. It is a little on the more pensive end for dim sum but the atmosphere is nice and service is pretty good. I love dumplings. I could eat dumplings any day, all day. It truly is one of those things I would have as a part of my last meal on Earth.

My better half had Korean barbecue. We both added sushi option. Crunchy spicy tuna roll and Miami roll were both delicious. The shrimp , clam , blue crab in the bone broth , plus cooking fishball, vegetable, mushroom , tofu skin, corn etc, all my favorite materials with my own pace, dip them in my designed sauce, it was a satisfying meal . The barbecue meat got very flavorful seasoning , so many variety of cut. The salmon was a nice big piece with old bay seasoning. Porkbelly and short ribs were excellent. Everything tasted good. Our server came to check frequently and removed the empty plates frequently. The service was very good. The sauce station got some coid-appetizers. They were neatly displaced and got so many choices. This is a good hot pot, Korean barbecue spot in Clearwater.
