Solid ice cream fair price for a large scoop. Nice area to walk around and ride stone cows nearby. The ice cream names are kind of confusing where you will ask many questions on what each one contains..... or just choose one that sounds simple, like oreo

Amy's Ice Cream is an institution in Austin. It is a must-try if you're visiting Austin. Even people who do not live in Austin have asked me about Amy's ice cream. I used to frequent Amy's often until I started trying to maintain a more healthy lifestyle. I do allow myself a treat every once in a while. I grabbed a scoop of Mexican Vanilla, one of their premiere flavors. I remember it having a very unique taste. The ice cream today was good not great. The decor is very bright and children friendly. At the time I visited, I was the only one in the ice cream shop although there a few folks outside. The ice cream shop is very inviting and fun. The server was nice and friendly. Next time will have to try a new flavor.

Lots of options and great service. This little location is tucked away in a plaza. I told them we were from out of town and this was our first time trying Amy's. The staff was very nice and informative. They were also really knowledgable and helped me choose my selection. They also hooked it up because we were new. I ended up getting their vegan vanilla with some toppings mixed in. It was pretty good and I liked that their ice cream wasn't too sweet. I liked that I can make my own creation. Even though the shop is small they have tables inside for you to enjoy your treat. There was also seating outside as well.

This is my second time coming to this ice cream shop and it's always delicious! I tried a new flavor campfire and it was so good ! Nice s'more flavor. Service was great! And the shop is cute with a little library in the front. I'll be back next trip

Best customer service I've ever had!!!

Best customer service I've ever had!!! These employees were so sweet from the second I stepped in by welcoming us and offering samples for any flavor we wanted to try out. If you ever visit, I know 100% these girls will enhance your experience!! If I remember correctly their names were Tazin, Sofia, and Amity.Truly the service was amazing and the ice cream was very delicious. I ordered an Oreo Ice cream topped with strawberries and Oreo crumbs and my boyfriend ordered the Mexican Vanilla topped with pecan. Besides the service, the location is kept tidy and well maintained. I recommend coming in for a sweet treat and I'm sure that these girls will bring a smile to your face. They gave the best customer service and I will for sure be returning!! Keep up the great work!

Was walking down the street on my Muriel hunt and saw Amy's ice cream the shop looks cool with all the art drawn on it and the unique flavor choices. I ended up getting the Texas dirt cake , it's thick ice cream but it's perfect for a hot Austin Texas day . The girl at the front was nice and fast my luck it wasn't busy at the time even though I'm sure it can get busy on hotter days .

    Good ice cream here.

This shop is located in a mall. Lots of free parking in the lot. No seating inside but there are a few tables on the outdoor patio. The little shop is cute and the ice cream is high quality. The flavors offered are unique and not just your normal ones. You can get candies and other treats mixed into your ice cream and you can get toppings, too. The employees were friendly and you can also get samples,. Good stuff.

I love Amy's ice cream. Today I got the vegan Mexican vanilla bean. Topped with butterfingers candy bar. Service was very friendly. Andye was very nice, and served me my ice cream. The other Andy, haha, they're both named Andy, I had to ask them to spell it for me so I could get the 2 of them in my review. I think they said there are other Andy's that work their too. My Andye was very nice and the other Andy that waited on my friend was nice too. Ice cream is smooth and creamy, taste just like regular vanilla, doesn't have any odd vegan taste to it. That's why I like it. No weird after taste. We took our treats outside to the park below. Say I'm the shade with a little breeze. Was very enjoyable. Thank you for such a delicious treat.

Awesome awesome ice cream. And equally awesome service. Ordered a pint of the Belgian chocolate with strawberries crush-in! He took his time to do it right - and also had plenty left over , which he packed separately. Super friendly; super good ice cream. Of course, winter is the best time to eat ice cream ;)

First time coming here, and Caleb and Sophia gave me phenomenal Customer service! They explained all of the different flavors and allowed us to try it. The ice cream is just top-notch delicious, def coming back on my next visit to Austin.

This was my first visit to Amy's , and thanks to their "buy 10, get a free t-shirt" punchcard, I will for sure be back, LOL! I love the unique flavor options that are available across all their locations, and that ample vegan options are available too. This location is perfect because you can grab your ice cream and enjoy it among nature thanks to the Arboretum and overlook being right next door! I ended up getting two scoops with chocolate sauce, with one of the scoops being key lime pie flavor. I wish I could remember what the other flavor was, but I'm blanking out! I'm excited to check out the other locations in Austin (they are also in Houston and San Antonio!) and eventually get my Amy's t-shirt!!

Stopped in for some ice cream - never disappointed with Amy's! I did sample the Butter Beer flavor and the Blood Orange, but ultimately decided to get a mix of the Mexican Vanilla (my all time favorite!) with the Butter Beer plus gummy bears! I almost always get Mexican Vanilla with gummy bears, but I really liked the Butter Beer and felt it would complement the other flavors as well. It was exactly what I wanted, and a perfect treat for a hot day! Amy's is an Austin classic - best ice cream in town and I'll always be a fan! This location has plenty of parking and while seating inside is a bit more limited, there is outside seating available as well. Employees are friendly and very sweet - always a treat to grab an ice cream here! The application process to work here apparently requires a decorated paper bag, and I just want to give a shout-out to Jess for having the coolest paper bag! I love sharks and it's so fun to get to see everyone's favorite things through this.

Between the three of us, there was a little bit of everything--from classic comfort flavors to things I never thought would work in ice cream but somehow absolutely did. (Please ignore the F, E, D--this was how I kept track of who ordered what). Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint (F, E) - the absolute winner of the night and my #1 flavor. I never thought I'd describe an ice cream as refreshing in the way a sorbet is, but somehow this pulled it off while staying rich and creamy. Delicious, subtly minty, unbelievably smooth, and surprisingly refreshing. The beet flavor was mild enough that it didn't taste earthy or overpowering--just mellow and creamy, while the mint made all the difference in brightening everything up. I genuinely never had such a refreshing ice cream that wasn't sorbet. Such a unique flavor that somehow works perfectly, and absolutely something I'd get again. GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey (E, D) - my #2 and a complete 100% hit. Tangy, creamy, slightly savory, sweet, and incredibly unique while still tasting approachable. It somehow tastes exactly like the name promises without feeling too "out there." If you're nervous about goat cheese, trust me and try it. Easily an instant reorder. Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt (E, D) - rounding out my top three. Such a good balance against the sweetness of the rest of the ice cream options. Rich, deep chocolate flavor without becoming overwhelming, while the olive oil and sea salt round everything out and keep it from tasting too sugary. A flavor I appreciated more and more between bites of sweeter scoops. Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean (E) - one of the smoothest vanilla bean ice creams I've had. It reminded me of a traditional ice milk soft serve in the best way possible: creamy, nostalgic, and incredibly easy to eat. A deceptively simple flavor done really well. Very Strawberry (F) - a clean strawberry flavor that leaned a little artificial, but honestly? Still really good. Bright, fruity, and easy to enjoy. Cookies & Cream (F) - this one hit HARD when you got a full spoonful. I never liked cookies & cream before this, but this one genuinely changed my mind. Probably the only cookies & cream I would willingly eat. Chocolate Chocolate (F) - love chocolate? Get this. That's all you need to know. Coffee & Cream (D) - oooh. This immediately reminded me of a keto coffee ice cream I had once and really enjoyed. Rich coffee flavor without tasting too bitter or overpowering--would absolutely get this again. Sweet Cream w. Strawberry (D) - unfortunately, a miss for me compared to the others. Too creamy for me and not enough strawberry flavor to justify choosing it over the Very Strawberry. Overall, the adventurous flavors completely stole the show here. My tier list by far: 1) Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint, 2) GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey, and 3) Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt. Unique flavors that actually feel intentional rather than gimmicky, and all three are instant repeat orders for me. Atmosphere-wise, the place was pleasant, parking was surprisingly easy, and while it wasn't overwhelmingly crowded, the place is definitely more popular than it first appears. I never thought I'd be a fan of Americanized ice cream--usually it's way too sweet for me--but Lick completely proved me wrong. Somehow, the flavors felt balanced, intentional, and actually let the ingredients shine without drowning me in sugar. Touché, Lick. Dangerous spot for indecisive people because suddenly you're convincing yourself that yes, maybe you do need another scoop.

Quite busy at 8:15PM on a Sunday! About ten people ahead of us and only two people working so it took about 10-15mins with people asking for samples and such. While we were there, it was always a packed line so it definitely gets really busy from 8-9PM! We got three larges for a total of twelve flavors, a little bit of overlap: Mine: Dark Chocolate Olive Oil and Sea Salt - Really liked this, the bitter saltiness offset the creaminess really well. Coffee with Cream - A very light but roasty coffee, like a light coffee. I liked this!; Goat Cheese, Thyme and Honey - The herbal flavor is more subtle than I expected! Not too sweet, liked this one Sweet Cream & Strawberry - this one didn't stand out much to me Others: Roasted Beets and Fresh Mint - I really liked this one! The beets and mint hit on the back of your tongue, yum Chocolate Chocolate - Very intense chocolate, not too crazy about it though Cookies & Cream - Surprisingly good! I liked this one Very Strawberry - way more strawberry than the sweet cream. I'd recommend this over the sweet cream and strawberry Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean - Pretty light, a classic. Thought it was okay. If I had a tier list it would be: 1) Coffee with Cream 2) Goat Cheese 3) Dark Chocolate Olive Oil 4) Roasted Beets and Mint 5) Cookies & Cream 6) Very Strawberry 7) Vanilla Bean 8) Chocolate Chocolate 9) Sweet Cream & Strawberry Overall, a few hits, a few misses, but it was a fun tasting experience. We paid via inKind with no issues, which made it a pretty solid value.

There's a good variety of flavors and things they serve from italian ice to ice cream and shakes. We opted for a strawberry italian ice with condensed milk on top. From the first bite we were in heaven. The flavor is very thorough which is not always the case for Italian ices where it can sometimes be a bit muted. Every single bite of this was packed with flavor. They also carve out a bit of the middle to put the condensed milk which makes every bite much more equal than if it was just placed at the top. This was by far one of, if not the best, Italian ices we've ever had. We would very much recommend it to anyone in the Downtown area looking to cool off.
