    Shiso Nice

tl; dr: cute spot, well-made drinks, tho the noise level can get a bit much at times. came here at night on a weekend and they were decently packed. i got the Shiso Nice (with shiso, cucumber, etc) and my friend tried the Tropical Peat (scotch, vermouth, banana liqueur). i really enjoyed my drink. it was so refreshing with the cucumber and shiso. my friend's drink tasted like banana hi-chews in a rocks glass. a tad sweet but i am a fan. service was attentive and overall, ok to stop in for a drink but not particularly worth a special trip.

Stopped in the neighborhood for a drink before dinner and saw it was a whiskey bar (husband). We walked in a few minutes before they opened by accident and even tho some guy with an awful accent had a bit of a tude, we still decided to come back so the hubbs could get into the bourbon selection. Luckily the bartender was amazing!! The place is super cute and has a great lounge vibe and amazing bourbon choices. While there are so many places to choose from we did enjoy ourselves.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Terrible manager and dangerous place!

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! I came here early evening for a drink with my service dog. It was a nice day and I wanted to sit outside. There were plenty of empty tables. I politely asked the host if I could sit outside. Instead of welcoming me she immediately questioned me about my dog. She asked if he was a service dog. I said yes. Then she asked for what purpose. That question is illegal and disrespectful. I explained I could show his ID but that is not even necessary for outdoor seating. Then the real problem appeared. An older man, he is the manager, came over and was extremely rude. He told me to leave in a hateful way. This man was aggressive, disrespectful, and by far the worst person I have ever encountered in New York hospitality. When I tried to speak to him he moved toward me like he was ready for a fight. Completely unacceptable behavior. When I showed my dog's service ID, he suddenly tried to act normal and pretended there were some rules. Those so called rules did not apply to outdoor seating. His words and his look were filled with rude hostility. The way he treated me was not only rude but absolutely discriminatory. Later I checked Yelp and Google reviews. Many people have written the same thing about this man. Everything became clear. This is a pattern of abuse and racism. The manager is hateful, racist, and unstable. Do not go here. Protect yourself and avoid this place completely.

Great vibe-- it's pretty dark, so it's perfect for date night. It does get quite noisy when it gets busy, but overall the ambiance is classy and chill. The cocktails were very well balanced and great-- even the stronger, more spirit-forward cocktails were good!!

Analogue is an incredible bar. Very warm and professional staff. Amazing selection! The food is also really high quality and the ambiance is perfect for a date night or catching up with friends. My favorite cocktail is the downtown lassi, but I've tried others that were equally genius.

Lovely spot to grab a drink and hang out with friends or enjoy a date night. The ambiance is intimate with dim-lit rooms and comfortable seating. They have a variety of drinks and cocktails that are priced around $20-25. I enjoyed the Bird in Hand and I am willing to to come back to try the other drinks on the menu since they all looked unique. They have a limited selection for food but the mediterranean platter that my friend ordered seemed like a good choice. The service was fantastic, I have never met a more friendly host before! (I could not take as many pictures here since the place was just dark) 5/5 stars!

I really love this bar, it's a great vibe & their back room is perfect if you come with a group. I always have a good time here. Drinks are great and service is friendly!

We came here to a drink before we went to dinner and it was such a great experience. They have so many different types of cocktails and even mocktails. I love the atmosphere here, it's dark so feels really intimate. They have comfortable couch seating, it feels a bit shared but we all seem to have our own privacy. Service was excellent, everyone was really friendly and happy to help us pick the drink that suits our tastes. The drinks were excellent and totally met expectations.

This place is almost always packed - so either make a reservation or hope there's a spot at the bar. We were lucky to find two seats by the bar on a Friday night. I love being able to watch them make all these amazing drinks. Definitely get a cocktail!

I came here for a friend's birthday and was immediately welcomed by the hostess. Once inside I notice the spaciousness. The space was very beautiful. Towards the back there are large sofas where you and your party can sit. It was dimly lit and had some cool art and decoration. The drinks were good but did not live up to their pricy price tag. When spending 20+ dollars on one cocktail I expect to be blown away but sadly I wasn't. For drinks I ordered the plum struck and bird in hand. The drinks were fruit forward and not well balanced. I definitely think the vibes of this place is first date, great space for close conversations, and is Instagram worthy photos.

This is a swanky spot with really great cocktails! I liked the midnight drive through and the bird in hand. Also a great date spot! Be aware they do enforce their 2-hour table limit for reservations.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you to The Devil's Backbone. A perfectly balanced drink I'll never forget, one that is sipped slowly and enjoyed thoroughly. It's sexy, it's smoky it's sipped. Attaboy gave the best mixology experience and we can't wait to be back. Pro tip: be sure to be as vocal as possible, even with ice, so you don't end up with a tiki drink if that's not your vibe.

The multiple levels offered different moods, from the busy downstairs bar with its energetic crowd to the more relaxed upstairs seating area that encouraged a longer, slower visit, and the design of the room made it feel like a destination rather than just a quick stop for a drink. The drinks are the main attraction, with a strong focus on whiskey-based cocktails and classic Irish influences. We ordered a few options and found the cocktail menu creative without losing the character of the bar, each drink arriving thoughtfully prepared and well balanced. The Guinness was another standout option for those looking for something more traditional, served with the care that a proper pint deserves. The food menu also added to the experience, with items like lobster deviled eggs, scotch eggs, fish and chips, and hearty Irish-inspired dishes that paired well with the drinks. The food was solid and complemented the bar's identity, making it easy to settle in for a longer visit with both drinks and snacks. The atmosphere can get extremely busy, especially around peak hours, and getting inside may require patience even with reservations. Once seated, however, the experience became much more comfortable, with attentive service and a setting that encouraged lingering over drinks. The team moved through the room with efficiency, and the pacing of the visit kept the experience smooth without feeling rushed.
