Came here for dinner with some girlfriends. The restaurant is very nice and plenty of space/tables. We got sat in the back so it was a bit chilly; draft from the air-- so if you're sensitive to cold ask to be sat elsewhere. The food was very good. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, chicken flautas, and I got a combo plate. We also shared their duo queso & guac & their Brussels sprouts. Both were delicious! I got a shrimp enchilada with my combo and I think the cheese sauce was just overkill. It would've been better with a lighter cream sauce, but that's just my opinion. The actual shrimp filling was so so good. Our first waiter, Jordan, was awesome! Quick and attentive to everything. We did ask to move to the patio at the end of our meal so we could enjoy drinks with a friend that showed up later-- the waiter outside seemed to rush us out the door a bit. The parking was also a bit tricky because it's located in a shopping plaza, it's not bad but I would say not great for ppl who need special accommodations and are not able to grab to front few handicap spaces; you'd have to park and walk up a few steps to the street level then across a busy traffic area that has the pedestrian walkway.

Hadn't been to Mesero in quite some time with my most recent experience being the Addison location with the great patio overlooking the golf course. Southlake location ambiance fails in comparison. Nothing special. Bright, open and bland. Feeling more like a Dennys. The "freshly" made chips tasted like they were fried in really old grease. The container they came in had a pool of oil in the bottom of it. Not good. The "Combinacione 6" was okay but nothing at all special--cheese felt a bit processed. Mesero is feeling more like a manufactured chain restaurant than the special feeling it had early on. Or maybe it's just this location? Service was all great. Nice folk.

Did some research here on Yelp which brought me to Mesero because I was looking for Molè and Queso, this place had both! The restaurant was very clean, barely any people were there and I'm sure that was because it was superbowl sunday. We ordered the queso and guacamole combo. Which color queso? I don't know, I'm not from around here, I didn't even know there was more than one color. So yellow it was. Not the right choice, it tasted like straight up velveeta which I do NOT like. Bummer!!! I've had yellow queso before and it did not taste like melted velveeta. No one at my table liked it and it turned into a solid mass quite quickly. The guacamole was good. I also got a frozen mango margarita. At the last min we decided to get the jalapeno poppers, they were ok, my daughter makes them better. I got a combination with an enchilada with molè sauce and a carnitas taco. I really liked the enchilada, the taco was just eh. My son in law was not the happiest with his dinner because it had that velveeta on it. When the waiter came to check on us he asked how everything was, I told him that the queso was not good at all and he said, you should have gotten the white. Well jeeze, now you say something! Should have told me that when I was ordering. I don't know, that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I feel like he could have taken the yellow one and replaced it with the white one right then and there. That would have been better business. The food was ok, not the best, the mango margarita was really good but I won't be back, I will get my queso somewhere else next time.

We were looking for a Mexican place to try in South lake and this one did not disappoint. We got chips and dips when we sat down, we shared 3 dishes, tuna tacos, battered fish tacos and shrimp fajitas.. all 3 were very flavourful and we loved our dinner there. A little on the spicy side but I managed with some water to cook down. We came on Halloween day so the atmosphere was very Halloweeny

The quinoa tacos were a great vegan option! The restaurant was nice on a weekend and our server was knowledgeable about the menu for dietary restrictions.

Lucky to be back in the big D for a work meeting and Mesero was at the top of my must return to for lunch with a friend! First time at this location and it had a nice suburban vibe. Friendly staff and they did not mind us sitting at our table for a long period of time while we caught up together. Plenty of parking since it is located in the Central Market strip mall. Chips and salsa were quickly provided which were fresh and tasty. Both of us ordered from the brunch menu. I ordered egg whites scramble with assorted tortillas. My friend ordered the omelette. Food promptly arrived hot and good size portion. Still love Meseros !

We ordered a variety of dishes including dahi poori, vegetable pakora, paneer chili, gobi Manchurian, veg chili momo, paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, chow mein, and a naan bread basket. The appetizers were better than the North Indian dishes. The paneer tikka masala and malai kofta were on the sweeter side despite us ordering them medium spicy. The kofta balls were also on the smaller side, and the paneer tikka masala had very few pieces of paneer. The chow mein was the star of the meal. It was flavorful and definitely my favorite dish. For the pakora, they only gave a small amount of green chutney, so we had to ask for more along with some tamarind chutney. There's parking behind the restaurant, which was convenient. If you're in the mood for chaat or North Indian food, I would probably choose a different restaurant.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.
