I can only comment on the conch fritters since that is all I had. The fritters themselves were great but the lack of conch is why the low rating. It was more of a hush puppy. And the few pieces of conch that we did find were very tough, almost couldn't chew it. Would not recommend the fritters. But the service was great, staff was nice. Super good and convenient. We stayed at Southernmost Beach Resort and have breakfast there every day. It was quick, good quality and super convenient. There is also a grocery store right next to it where you can find pretty much anything. read more

Poor quality food and service...I am so disappointed to be making this post, bc we have been coming here for years and have always had wonderful food and service...we went for breakfast today and ordered two orange juices...they were bottled and Tropicana brand..the juice looked almost brown and had chunks of something floating in it (it was pulp free), but we took it and my son tried it bc the expiration date said November 2022...upon tasting the juice, it was clear (for whatever reason)it was spoiled! I took his opened drink and my closed drink to the counter and let the man working behind the counter (maybe the owner) that the juice was spoiled and we wouldn't be drinking it...he rolled his eyes looked at the date and said it's not spoiled...I said it's not drinkable. He took the juices and put them down in front of him...didn't offer a replacement or refund or apology of any sort...completely shocked at the level of rudeness and lack of customer service...my son got an empanada that was not edible due to the amount of grease dripping from it, there was so much that there was a puddle of grease under the empanada sitting the in container that was served to him...we probably won't be back... read more

We wanted to have a taste of Cuban, at the southernmost deli. So if you are into that, go for it. The Cuban sandwiches were good, but watch the pricing. We asked for two cups of ice and the guy charged us for two soda.... huh? At least tell us that so we can actually drink soda. We needed the ice for the baby. Great breakfast and coffee - walk up ordering and plenty of picnic tables to sit at. No indoor dining, just covered. The line gets long as everything is made to order and they're working like crazy because they seem understaffed - but it's worth the wait. Service was kinda slow mainly because they were only 2 ladies cooking and taking orders. The place is tiney-tiny so you might want to just grab your breakfast or cuban coffee to go. However, everything is made from scratch! Fresh omelettes and meats (sausage, bacon) cooked right in front of you with fresh cuban bread, juices/smoothies are made from scratch too. I must say, it was worth the wait! Also, breakfast sandwiches are really big (about 10inches sandwiches). I would recommend to share a sandwich with your partner if you aint too hungry. There are quite a few good Cuban food places in Key West, and this is one of them. If you're staying at the Casa Marina, this cafe is a short walk away, probably the closest one to the resort. This particular cafe, you order at the window and they'll either bring your food to you at a bench or you can take it to go. Good selection of Cuban style coffees, as well as great lunch selection. I went there for breakfast and got the Cuban Special, which is rice, beans, two eggs, and Cuban toast, and it was quite good. They also have just regular breakfast items like French toast. Very good food, and you can sit on the porch eating and watch all the tourists go by. Definitely plan on going back sometime to try the empanadas and plantains (lunch menu starts at 11, breakfast served all day). read more

Happened to be a close walk from our hotel, seemed to be extremely authentic, small grocery with beer and wine, deli counter and a deck to sit and eat if you want. We ordered at the deli, got the Cuban and Italian, both served warm, I'm sure this is over used but to me it's the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had, prices are reasonable for Key West and we actually came back for lunch on another day, will recommend to friends who visit the Keys as a "can't miss" spot. read more

One of our favorite breakfast spots. Every time we come to Key West we have to hit Ana's for Cuban coffee, sandwich, and fresh sliced Mango sliced on the skin and flipped inside out for easy eating. I went there 2 times during my visit to Key West. The first time I had a traditional cuban sandwich that was very good and the next day I had breakfast. I decided to have an omelette with ham, bacon, sausage and cheese. The omelette hit the spot with a side of cuban bread. You order your food from an outside window and there are picnic tables around the outside covered patio. Parking is tough so I just parked at a meter and walked about a block during both trips, not a big deal. Worth the trip and I would go back again. read more
